    Hey Adam, how's the mic quality compare to Philips PH805 and plantronics backbeat pro 2, (for calls in noisy places) does these block out ambient noise for the caller at the other end? Do you recommend any other headphone in same price category which have better microphones for calls. I intend to use one headset for all purposes, rather than switching between different headphones.

    You think the ANC is decent enough to play drums and actually be protecting your ears? These headphones seem good enough for just regular everyday use for me, but being able to use these as my drumming headphones would be a great bonus. Drums usually can go to about 120 dB if you are playing loudly and safe playing volume is around 70-85

    • @TechOutAdam
      @TechOutAdam  2 года назад

      When it comes to something like playing drums you need to get the best ANC you can. I'd go with the WH-1000XM4's for example. Will you be listening to something at the same time?

    Hi! I've got them for 4 months. I have to say I like them, but it's couple of things, which I would like to say from first hand experience. I connect them to my pc via 5.0 bluetooth. Almost everyday have a problem with connection. Not always, but sooo often and this pisss me off.They are on the bluetooth list devices in my pc, status looks paired but straight after turn them on the voice saying:pairing...and that's the problem.They don't connect for some reason. So often doesn't connect straight away. I have to go to bt devices list, click connect and then they connect to pc.
    Another thing is size of the ears shells(pads) I don't have big or small ears just normal, but holes in the pads are so small. My ears are actually on the pad, not in. To prevent pain after some hours listening I need ''slide''whole ear shell to the pad. i hope this part is clear enough for everyone. Another issue is the noise cancelation. Up to today I actually don't know how to turn this on or off and if is active or not. My another pair Beyerdynamic have mechanical switch with two levels, so you simply know if is on. For change, today I had chance use sony wh-1000xm4. I never been big fan sony over ear headphones, but today I say big WOW! From the first moment simply they was alround my ears with soo soft pads not even squash my ears. Simply ear shells was in. No doubt. No mistakes, no slides. They are big enough to comfortably sit in. Pads was so soft and even w/o turn them on I was completely cut off from outer world. Sound was dynamic, a lot of bass. Rich sounds. After today experience in 5 minutes I have to say shame I choose Sennheiser bt450. I know what will be next my pair of headphones. That's my point of view.I hope this help some of you and apologise for language but it's not my native language. I have to say about Sennheiser-worth to try before you buy. Maybe YOU like it. Take care all. Tom

    Great, great review! This is really making me think though- in my country all headphones usually run at original price and my budget can only go upto about 100-120 USD. I was considering the 350BTs but they don't have an audio jack, the audiotechnica ATH M40x don't have bluetooth. I'm a huge fan of the Urbanites though which I remember a lot of people loving at the time too, so I'm afraid this might feel like a downgrade. Do you have any idea how they compare? Hey hey thanks for the reply!
      I'm currently working from home as an IT and we will be back for next yr on the office so a little bit of ANC and good sq is needed. I currently have a tendency to use my OnePlus6 while working with my laptops. I have a MacBook Pro.
      Whilst for daily own use, I have Dell XPS. It's just that I have a habit of browsing from laptop to phone when I have the chance.
      It's just that I want to ensure that I will not sacrificing alot of value just because of convenience.
      I want to check if the hassle of unpairing and pairing trade-off against the sound quality that I need or ANC and very comfy xm3 as they say.
      I'm a heavy/ power user of Spotify, RUclips, netflix and gaming user so It would matter to me if it is worth it. 😀
      Since these are both priced at 14k pesos here on my country I just want to check which value of money is more for my situation. I can't afford both soooo hence the dilemma hehe.

      I do actually want the PXC II but the micro usb is a deal breaker for me and also the price. It is very pricey here. Also the Sennheiser momentum 3 looks good but pricey hehe.
      As for bose 700 is it pricey here as well.
      For qc 35 ii it is the same price but the battery life, bt 4.1 and sq(aac only?) Is a deal breaker.
      I'm no bass head but I like good separation of instrument, and good thump but not too much that is missing on qc 35 ii is a deal breaker for me.

Those others are honestly a little too much lol They are just not built for extensive workouts in my opinion and I’ve tried all of those with workouts and the 450BT will have the least amount of sweat. The simplest way I can explain it, especially when reviewing the new WH-CH710N headphones from Sony is that the Sony’s didn’t have as much character. As much volume. The clarity was great but the sound signature just didn’t make you feel the music as much. Hope that helps.

    Brilliant video, really clear and straight to the point 👍 however I just have one question because I tried out the 350 BT and there was quite a bit of sound leakage which is a con for me and I guess for a lot of people, I'd prefer a bit of privacy when listening to music like I wouldn't want someone next to me hearing everything I'm listening to on the train for example. I'm interested in these headphones, what's the sound leakage on these like?

    • @TechOutAdam
      @TechOutAdam  4 года назад +1

      At about 65-70% volume I start to hear leakage but you have to be pretty close to notice. Especially if you’re in a public place or on a train I don’t think anyone will hear what you’re listening to. Are you doing a lot of commuting with these?

    Hi Adam, I bought the HD450BT and I found really annoying that when you use the mic the headphones amplified the ambient noise so you can barely hear you call, I went to exchange the first pair to the store and the new one does the same, so it's impossible to use these on gaming or calls outside. Anyone with the same issue? I contacted Sennheiser but still, no response so be aware of that. Thanks for the review. Cheers

    • @TechOutAdam

      The unfortunate thing about these headphones and most like it is they're not the best for gaming at all. There's no boom mic to really isolate noise and at the same time keep your sound quiet too.

      @@nishantvats1195 well like adam said, they are good OH-Headphones especially for the price, the buttons come very handy once u get the hold of their positioning and i found that you can skip ahead into a song if u hold the next and prev sliders. Sound is also as expected very nice, a little shy of the typical Sennheiser signature but still very suited to my taste. The base is the only part it lacks and from lacks i mean the base is low for the size of the headphones but it sure is good and loud enough for most of us. Its not like sony xbs if i would compare it but still sufficient. Only someone into very heavy and punchy base would find it a deal breaker. Battery is also good enough to forget about it, i have a big head so the clamping force is a tad bit strong so i dont wear them for 2-3 hrs at a time, but aside from that they are fine. If u get them at a price somewhere above mine then go for it. Wont regret it for that price.

  • @emiel333

    I own this Sennheiser and I don’t agree on your noise cancellation judgement. Sure, it isn’t the best one (Sony W1000XM4 and Bose 700 are the two kings), but compared to other headphones in the same price class it does a good job. What is a thing is that the Sennheiser sounds even better without ANC on. But that accounts all ANC headphones. Also, there isn’t a single ANC headphone on the market that can cancel out mid-high to high frequencies because it’s impossible to implement. Higher frequencies have more cycles and are denser and therefore the mics can’t keep up with the amount of frequency waves.

    • @TechOutAdam

      I recently reviewed the Skullcandy Hesh ANC and those do better on the ANC performance than these. You're absolutely right, I'm not sure when, if ever, headphones will block out all external noise lol You'd have to had earplugs at that point if you need to most "noise cancelling" possible.
