Yes. So handsome either way. You do see the facial features better with the short hair, but running your fingers through those long locks would be heavenly. Enjoy it while you have it dude. You will not have those options 20 years from now.

I don't understand your enthusiasm. One could cut this with a simple haircut razor. I am dissapointed. The barber have had better options. So, for example, to let top coat longer. And then soft side cuts to nape.
This guy is my go to. He speaks the truth and so much sense. I use to be all about the best fade and sharp cuts. But the last 12 months I’ve sacked it off and if I can learn 50% of this mans skills and make me a more all rounder I will be happy. As simple as the style it is one of the most timeless styles. He could have easily rocked that look during the 50’s , the 60’s and any other decade. Great job!
I'll be honest, I groaned when Guto said he wanted to cut off his beautiful curly wavy surfer hair. Only because my own hair is closer to the style that he ended up with (but not as accomplished) and I've never been able to get that longer hairstyle and never will - in other words, pure jealousy! _Setting that aside_ I think Dan did a wonderful job clippering and scissoring all that hair down to a neat-but-not-too-neat finish and Guto definitely looked great at the end too. I'm glad though he plans to grow it out again some day - there'll be plenty of time in his life for the shorter cut but this kind of long wavy look for most guys only looks this good when you're in your teens/twenties.
I agree. There's plenty of time to be ugly with short thinning hair when you're older. Might as well keep it grown out for as long as you can while you're still young and enjoy it.

I've watched a fair few of Dan's videos, this video really makes us really get to know how far Dan's come since he was a young lad. I absolutely love the way he works, I've started doing a longer consultation with my clients which really helps us to understand the client as a person and what lifestyle they have. I think this was a phenomenal cut by the barber i am extremely impressed how he handled the task, and his explanation on why he didn't go straight to the clippers. Client got an amazing job, looked great, and looked incredibly happy. Well done mate!
Honestly, he also rocked the long hair. In his case, it's more about does he want to look a bit more skater, creative or does he want to look more sporty conservative. He looks great either way.

A lot of people have had traumatic experiences with a Hairstylist/Barber etc. When clients come in off the street, or make an appointment, it's all about educating the client about their hair, guys especially. Now it's fine for a client to bring a reference picture, but most times I get to educate them on why their hair texture won't support the haircut. I want my clients to leave my shop, with a basically wash and wear haircut without having to use a lot of product. Educating the client is a way to win their confidence in you, and keeps them coming back. So, if your stylist isn't talking to you about what's best for your hair, go somewhere else.

When he came in, he looked about 26 yrs old. After his cut he looked about 17 years old!

Honestly, he also rocked the long hair. In his case, it's more about does he want to look a bit more skater, creative or does he want to look more sporty conservative. He looks great either way.

A lot of people have had traumatic experiences with a Hairstylist/Barber etc. When clients come in off the street, or make an appointment, it's all about educating the client about their hair, guys especially. Now it's fine for a client to bring a reference picture, but most times I get to educate them on why their hair texture won't support the haircut. I want my clients to leave my shop, with a basically wash and wear haircut without having to use a lot of product. Educating the client is a way to win their confidence in you, and keeps them coming back. So, if your stylist isn't talking to you about what's best for your hair, go somewhere else.
