As a professional myself I can tell you that she has an art for communication! Her consultation skills is something that many barbers can learn from especially assuring and reassuring the customer of her capabilities and possibilities of his image.
I love how she asks what style he wants then explains what she is planning on doing, and checks for understanding. I have yet to find a barber who does that and it seems like it should be common practice.

If you and your barber can't freely talk about what you want and what they are doing to your hair/beard, there's a huge mystery as to what you'll end up getting. A lot of times, that's not great. So, our advice is to try and find a barber who is not only passionate about their craft but can also efficiently communicate those skills to help guide you to a style that you truly want. I noticed in another video she uses the hair dryer to straighten the beard. I have recently started to do this every morning to get the curl out some. Is that ok to do everyday with the heat setting or will it mess your beard up?
Is it right to blow the beard out with the dryer to trim it? It doesn’t seem like a good technique if you don’t blow out your beard everyday to style it, does it look right after you leave it natural?
I thought the exact same. You can see on the 'After' shot, the beard doesn't look as sharp as it could, so I definitely wouldn't do the same as she has.
there are quite alot of red headed scots aswell so don't feel to bad lol, its sometimes hard to differentiate accents if you're not from over here, my family are half irish so i know the accent well

U did see his beard back to curly at theend. She put a wet hot towel in his face and beard so it got wet going back to how it is naturally
