  • Ok here it is… the long awaited does it really run video we’ve all been watching for.
My Son stopped by today and I asked if he could be my cameraman, he agreed so off we went.
Bus ran great, still much to do. The squeaking sound every time I clutch is the pedal shaft rubbing the aluminum floor… 5 minute fix just haven’t got to it yet. But it’s now top of the list.
Just the kick I needed, see a few more Sunday drives coming up… on the highway, these tight two lanes will test your skills and your nerves.
The last picture is my son John and his chopper we built back in 2010, that is still in the stable.
Thanks everyone for supporting and following along.
It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

Sure was great to see Wally B out and about. You're really getting the hang of the 4 speed. Enjoy the ride, thanks for sharing your progress. 👍

In Wally’s heyday of the 50s and 60s those buses saw a lot of 2 lane. Even after they started the interstate the terminals were usually a long way from the interstate. I’ve seen the drivers stop and pick up locals on the way into town.

Thanks for letting us ride along... Yes, drivers used to have a hellish job without power steering and automatic gearbox... You are already getting the hang of double clutching, if you keep practicing it will work out fine, I see you have talent. And once you get used to it, you'll never forget it (and get in a car and try it there too). Bring on the rest of the good work... Wally B sounds great!

      Thanks
Yeah, about 30 years ago I used to drive a cab over KW with the 10 speed that had Detroit and you had double clutch. It’s been a few years but it’ll all come back to me. I’ll get back to where I can float that clutch.

Wally's just a gettin it. That's awsome dude. My 24V starter gave up the ghost, so I'm dead in the water, probably until after the holidays. The cameraman did some cool shots, going back in the bus. You've come a long way in a short time, it looks awsome. Cool shots with the bikes at the end there too, I've always wanted one, but now we are raising our two grandsons, so it's not in the cards for me, but that's okay.
