- In this film we celebrate a holiday weekend in Central Pennsylvania. We fly fish the classic Penns Creek for wild browns. Penns Creek does not give up wild browns easily, but the reward of them landing in the net can happen if your diligent.

You really need to fish Penn’s when the green drakes are hatching. They feed so ravenously that it’s like watching a hungry 400 pound guy at a buffet.

Welcome aboard! Thx for watching! My sons both played and my oldest even played in college. I coached youth lacrosse and filmed high school lacrosse for a good many years. This video has some lax in it. What fly rod set ups are you using?
Both Rods are 10ft 3 wt Fenwick Aetos rods. The one i use for dry fly is slighty shorter because I had to repair the tip. The set up on the dry fly is just a basic floating line to leader...then dry dropper.
The nymphing set up is with a Redington Tilt Euro Nymph Fly reel paired with I belive the RIO Technical Euro Nymph line. That is then connected to fluro tippet.
