Hey Bruce. From the midwest USA - G'DAY. Love your vid's. Like those sunglasses. Been meaning to tell you. My long deceased grandmother used to say one easy way to judge a personality is if their mouth turns UP at the corners, or DOWN. If'n it turns up at the corners it means you are generally a happy person who smiles a lot. (muscle memory). The opposite is not so good. True story from 50 years ago. In my younger years she would comment on every woman I ever dated. "Her mouth turns down at the corners" she would say with a frown. Or "She has a nice mouth, keep her around" LOL. I have never forgotten that bit of advice. Your mouth naturally turns up at the corners. Obviously a ripping good bloke!

So many junctions must be frustrating when doing investigatory work. Plumbers/builders installing these storm water pipes should think about making the runs as straightforward as possible. Hi Gavin from the UK - I love watching your videos, very entertaining. You seem to have a lot of problems with roots invading the single pipework.
Question - has anyone ever utilised a double pipe system, say a 4inch inside a 5 or even 6inch pipe with staggered joints, to your knowledge? I can't help wondering if that would work to thwart those pesky roots. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Haven't seen toads in the line for a bit. Too bad that one area in the upper level is inaccessible, since much of the line seems good. Those square junctions can be a real pain!

Locate as u did, yes could require a dig to find the 2 x junctions closer to the downpipes, where an I/O could be installed... Would be great to see the roots then from the other direction!

Hey man, i have a “mystery” drain on my land. We dont know where it goes or what it does. If you want to make a video your more than welcome! Let me know :) Brisbane area :) no problem with it just a completely random storm drain! We actually have two random things (a DEEP soakage pipe we dont know where it goes to (we dont think its the rando drain) and we know its not into the rest of our storm water system) Its a very weird block with 3 other storm mains that empty into eachother. Within a couple of meters. Overall just odd but if your up for it its an easy video!!!
