Great video/recovery 💯 Gavin 👍🏆♥️ At the start I was saying "Have no fear Gavin is here" I was 😂 with the joke on the hose, and Tom bricking it, and 🤔 why me 😂❤
You're quite the mate Gavin. You should run a program to help train your buddies on how to get their nozzles unstuck but then again they wouldn't call you for that job😊.Until next time..Hello to Mrs.P and little P.
Well Tom could sleep peacefully on that night having his nozzle clawed back from the gates of Sew Age. Working at water treatment plants on gearboxes in the middle, edge or end of the tanks, I have lost spanners, Allen keys, hammers etc. I did start to drill holes in some tools and tie paracord to them, but you can't do that easily on smaller Allen keys so I'd weld a ring on the usual sizes, luckily they tend to be the bigger ones. Well done Gavin, regards to you and family 👍
You are 100% correct. When a jetter hose or sewer cable gets stuck, it's like a gut punch. I broke a 5/8' cable this morning in a cast iron pipe but I got it out with a retriever head and no drama (thank goodness). The only time I wasn't able to remove my jetter hose was when it went outside a collapsed 8" clay pipe in the parking lot of a vegetable packing plant. Fortunately, we could see the problem with the camera and show the manager of the plant. The plumber that called me in on the job got a nice repipe out of that one. Dug up about 100 feet of parking lot and replaced the entire line , manhole to manhole. I lost about 40 feet of 1/2" hose because the broken clay absolutely shredded the hose jacket while we were trying to pull it out.
Nice recovery, Gavin! Fortunate to have that I/O in the wall behind the vents! I have to say looking at the landscape and houses I see in your vids, it reminds me of Southern California! We have plenty bottle brush, palms, eucalyptus trees, even paper-bark varieties here.
U know its not that bad of a day yet u didnt have to call ollie & ratty to help then u know ur in trouble when u have to send out the drain addict signal & they come running well as long as there is corn 🌽 love to watch u both keep up the good work hope ur back holds out
I have to smile at bothering with the wiping down with a random towel. You just know the lady of the house will be straight in there micro cleaning, if not redecorating.
They obviously thought, what are the chances anyone will ever need to access this? 11 years later, access is needed. (house was built 2012, drywall MFG date visible 14:20)
Glad your back. Quite a few have said this. I guess the algorithm has done something me. I hope it sorts it out as I miss the views and the interactions in the comments
Way to go gavin tom was happy to get his hose out of the drain. I like when u were holding the hose and he couldn't move it 😂😂😂 buf u both did a great job customer was happy right o si u on the next one 👍👍👍👍
So can u send it further down stream to find it at the I/O point? Grab with gully grab, pull it up and out? untwist the nozzle then try and recover jetter hose?, or if not, pull the jetter hose through and off the reel?
Gavin, Helpin' out a fellow Jetta! Good on ya Mate! Hey, I have question... When you're doing your introduction to the video, are you sayin' "Right'O, Right On, Right Up, Right'll" or something else? My Closed captions have said all of those! Lol
If you could see the nozzle and "push it back", why not just unscrew it when you had your hands on it? I know I am missing something because that sounds too obvious.
Gravity is not your friend. You never want to disconnect anything, even when your hands are on it, while its in the drain. One slip and you no longer have control, and you no longer know exactly where it is in the pipe, that could lead to alot more demo and expenses in getting things back. Peace.
Do people know and consent to you are videoing inside their homes or on their properties? The fact I could hear voices that sounded like home owners made me wonder.
Pink sunglasses! We want pink sunglasses! Pink sunglasses make things go quicker! You are a good man to help someone else in the same service.
Great job Gavin helping out a friend! Miss the pink sunglasses they were a fashion statement! lol
Haha
the video where you got your hose stuck under the house slab cause of the huge palm roots is still the best one
I remember that day. Will not forget it ever haha
Great job! You have my respect for helping out another jetter man
Thank you 😊
Great video/recovery 💯 Gavin 👍🏆♥️ At the start I was saying "Have no fear Gavin is here" I was 😂 with the joke on the hose, and Tom bricking it, and 🤔 why me 😂❤
That was nice of you to help a fellow plumber save his equipment and the customer some mess.
Always up for helping out other plumbers
Awesome save.. all the plumbers should know when you get your jetter stuck who do you call.. THE PENETRATOR ..👍😎😂
You got that right!
I hate losing my tools as well ... All Good Mr P ... Thx
If this was one of Ollie's videos, the stuck hose would belong to a guy named Frank! (seems like it's always Frank)
Where has Frank been lately

Yep it’s never nice when it happens
Another great clearing today. Quick and clean. Your the best, Gavin. See you on the next. Cheers buddy! 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
The master mentor!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Good job helping your fellow plumbers. I know you wash your hands after a job but I always like to see you doing that. Weird but….
Opportunity to show complete work method and high standards worked to 😊

Good on you Gavin, and a really good job on recovering the jetter 👍👍
Thank you 😊
Good boy, Good person,
They are gonna need a bit of drywall replaced
Good job 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice save. Lucky plumber. Loved that access point. It was a lifesaver.
Yep getting it stuck is an awful feeling 😞 I've had a couple over the years and i was lucky they eventually let go , what a great feeling that is 😅😅
Very good Work and Video 👍👌
Nice job, Gavin
I’m glad to see that you Pranked, Tom
I could not of resisted
Hahaha 🤣
I have to smile at bothering with the wiping down with a random towel. You just know the lady of the house will be straight in there micro cleaning, if not redecorating.
Wind up merchant - hanging onto the hose.
Hahaha 🤣
Way to help out a mate! That was as pro job.
Thank you 😊
Thanks for being available to help out a fellow tradie in need. Great work Gavin.
Happy to help!
Hmm… why would the have an access, behind the wall, but not an access door - to access it?😂 Someone needs to give in and create that door😮.
They obviously thought, what are the chances anyone will ever need to access this? 11 years later, access is needed. (house was built 2012, drywall MFG date visible 14:20)
😂😂 nice gag poor T guy was sweating buckets 🤣 😎✌🏻
Weird, your videos have not been popping up lately today. This one did today button? That's good. I gotta go back and now play them all the other ones
Glad your back. Quite a few have said this. I guess the algorithm has done something me. I hope it sorts it out as I miss the views and the interactions in the comments
We'll done Gavin !! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Good job getting his line unstuck. 😊

I have that identical camera, and the skids are my only complaint. Hate messing with the tiny screws and nuts changing out skids.
My screw is stripped atm but I know what you mean. But over all a good camera
Yes I have beat the crap, literally our of mine and it keeps performing flawlessly. @@penetratorblockeddrains
Penetrator to the rescue..😂👍
what about the messed up drywall around the vent plate
She’ll be right 👍
So can u send it further down stream to find it at the I/O point? Grab with gully grab, pull it up and out? untwist the nozzle then try and recover jetter hose?, or if not, pull the jetter hose through and off the reel?
Nicely done!!! perfect solution
👍👍👍👍
nicely done
Thanks!
Good job saving Tom's bacon there! ;)

Right O
@@penetratorblockeddrains Thank you! 👍🏼
😂 poor guy
Bit of a teaching moment there Gavin. Tom obviously is new to drain clearing. Fancy gear and no idea.
Very good plumber and clears plenty of drains. We all have days when we get stuck.
🐸 Is there ANY problem Gavin can't fix?
Haha plenty I can’t sort
I hate it when my hose gets stuck in a dark wet hole. 😮😮 😊😊
I see what you did there🤪🙈🙉🙊
Why is there a I.O in the wall ?
Stack point.
The worst fkn feeling getting your hose stuck, I’ve had it stuck once under a garden bed and had to dig it up on the spot. Blew a hole in my hose too😢
It happens to all of us at different stages
All i can say is, "engineers". Good job though having to work around an engineer's convenient design.
If you could see the nozzle and "push it back", why not just unscrew it when you had your hands on it? I know I am missing something because that sounds too obvious.

I meant, unscrew the nozzle from the end. Then the hose should be able to just be reeled back.@@manjisaipoe517
Do people know and consent to you are videoing inside their homes or on their properties? The fact I could hear voices that sounded like home owners made me wonder.
Yes I ask to make sure they are comfortable with it.
