When pipes are barely buried underground like these, it's no wonder there are problems. especially when you consider lawn and tractor mowers, cars, etc.
A fine example of root withdrawals from the pipe line. A real mess as usual. But you got under control, Gavin. Vert nice. See you on the next. Cheers Gavin! 🇦🇺🙂👍🇺🇸
Forgive me for saying but there seems to be something inherently wrong with putting PVC pipes so close to the surface where they can be crushed by vehicles passing over or parking on them. The slurry looks as if it formed into a sedimentary rock in the pipe, that short run of pipe caused a few issues, but glad you sorted it out for them, good job. Regards to you and family, take care 👍
@@thepagan5432 I have pipes under my gravel driveway and after having a similar issue I replaced them with schedule 80 sewer pipe. Haven't had a problem in 20 years and we drive over them daily.
Gavin I don't think we put slurry in our storm pipes here in the USA......although I could be mistaken...I am not a plumber! So what do I know! Great job, I knew you would get it all out and amazing clean up afterwards!
Gavin i though some of that slurry was go to go fly across the street. Very nice job of repairing the drain merry Christmas to the penatator family 🎄🎄🎄 right o si u on the next one
Is there a reason you don't use a tarp to put the dirt on when you dig?? I do this at my home when I have to dig anything and it makes it easier to put ALL the soil back
Hi Gavin. Those pipes are so close to the surface how long do you think before the next vehicle will come along and break the new pipe pieces you just put in? Sue, mum from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺 🙂
Not sure you would be the best grave filler innerer !!! Good at drains though!!!😜🇬🇧
Fantastic video Gavin 👍🏆♥️ It had it all, repairs, camera bashing, chucky stains, boulders, ball, and Rooooots👍 BRILLIANT 😅❤
Glad you enjoyed it

yeah, but the street and curb are right there so can't go lower.
@@rupe53 I agree, but a stronger pipe or a reinforced cover could help stop this type of damage.

there is an easy solution.. put big boulders along the curb.. prevents cars parking on verges.. and prevents crushed pipes..
Not flying pigs but sheep. Its Australia. Epiphany.
Yeah Gavin, pull it out or knock over the bloody GoPro! lol

Nice to see the DC-38? Getting a workout. You doing OK with your excess weather patterns in oz?
We are good 👍

Use the spinning chain flail.

I guess someone thought roots were too easy for you and went to cement. Hope you did better fishing. Missing Madball and the gang.
