My grandpa made blackberry wine in 2015 before he passed. He and I both lamented at never writing down the recipe. Some of his wine-savvy friends wanted to buy more but he saved the rest. At least I know exactly where he picked those berries.
didnt ask
This is the perfect thing to watch between a bottle of wine and sleepy time...

This is one of a series of videos Michael spearheaded for the LCBO (Liquor Control Board Ontario) Michael is now retired but for those such as myself that work with and for him he is greatly missed. He brought great innovation to the LCBO way of teaching LCBO Product Consultants ( People with extra education and presentation skills) in the marketing and selling of beverage alcohol to the people of Ontario.

Awesome
This video made me excited to learn about this art. I’m a beginner and this information is one of the first steps for my wine journey!
Same here
Learning loads great
Just great
Beautiful host.
When wine of this mass scale is produced, there is no doubt that contamination or chemicals used to make sure it doesn't go off. I buy wine from smaller producers than large ones, because large ones keep getting bigger and killing small producers.
Is there a summarized version of this
12:44 "Oh yeah, man, pass that stuff!" XD
the attitude is strong in this one. funnily full industrial production is not considered a flaw here.
Love it❤
интересно о винограде.
Wine is oxidize when filtering but you can minimize it by gassing your receiving vessel and hoses. Also wine is oxidize when opening a bbl...that`s why you top off a barrel after you open it
What the Heck!😱 Did that woman drink and pour it back in the barrel? @ 25:44
FINISH IT DAMN YOU!!!🤣🤣🤣
She put some ant eggs in there 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🌲
My God! I had to pour me a glass of wine while watching this video...
Which one?

no one gives a toss
Feels like an age of empires introduction
I love wine very much
I live in the Albany area of New York State. This year I planted six Cabernet Sauvignon vines. What should I do to protect them from the winter?
Love the video. Good work on making it. I learned something about making wine now that I wasn't sure about. It really is up to the person drinking it on what they prefer not what people say is good because of its price. I make homemade wine that to me taste better and is more clear then any I have had made and sold to public. So thank you for helping me this.
How u make it?
Which yeast?
Plz give me idea if i only have dry grapes not fresh
And if i only have to make aochol with low starting
How many days it take for fermentation??
They make it sound all mystical. All you need is fresh fruit, some basic winemaking equipment, and a good recipe (Jack Keller has a hundred or more really good recipes on his website). And there are a lot better fruits than grapes for making wine (e.g. elderberries, blueberries, blackberries, pears, plums, figs, apples, et al). I buy a lot of my winemaking equipment from Label Peelers.
In fact you just need a tank and grapes, all the enzymes and yeasts need are already around each berry. So easier than that it's difficult. Also grapes contain a lot of tartaric acid, which creates kind of a skin that protects the wine (also it's not called wine when it's not made with grapes). But yes after you can use quite all fruits that contain sugars (even banana but the process is difficult, you need to exctract the juice by centrifugation).
I totally agree out of all the different fruits I use , elderberries are my favorite fruit for wine . Then pear then infuse them all until you find a taste you like
very good wine
00:13 The art of wine making and its significance throughout history.
04:13 Soil conditions greatly influence the character of wine
07:10 Older vineyards care for their fruit differently than young vines, resulting in better flavor, complexity, and density
10:21 Organic viticultural practices include avoiding synthetic chemicals and using prevention methods to combat pests and disease.
13:31 Harvesting grapes for wine production involves manual picking or mechanical harvesting.
17:23 The size of a winery's production ranges from giant industrial containers to small vats in boutique wineries.
20:40 The wine making process involves removing the juice from the skins and then pressing the skins to extract the remaining liquid.
23:33 Winemaking is an art that involves selecting grapes and utilizing oak for flavor.
26:43 Wine aging enhances flavors and softens tannins.
Godd gift to man
Install a bluebird nesting box. I've set up a bluebird trail where I live and have two successful seasons of new bluebird babies. They eat a stupendous amount of insects.
