How can you make a 50 minute long video about the history of wine and not talk about Qvevri and ancient Georgian traditions... Come to Georgia, the real cradle of wine and you'll understand the actual history, we still use 8,000 year old winemaking tradition, we haven't changed a thing! You make a video of a history of our invention and mention us for 10 seconds...

We'd be better off without it. Both in physical/mental health and for the environment. It all comes down to alcoholism amd corporate greed
People can't do anything without a drink any more. They can't celebrate without drinking, they can't handle a stressful day unless they have a drink, they can't talk to people unless they've had a few drinks. Even those who say they only drink on special occasions, are constantly seeking out special occasions. And they call it a classy thing lol. People say prohibition was a failure.... and that only because alcoholism was already rampant. Why we use up so much water to create an utterly useless fluid is beyond my comprehension.
