Nice that you covered other areas in Central Italy besides Tuscany. Verdicchio is such a fantastic grape, we only wish they were more widely available.
I just sub, I’m so glad I found your channel, very informative and entertainment for the wine lovers and the newcomers, congratulations and keep up the wonderful videos.
I think Italy has more good wine regions than any other country in the world. Utterly fascinating. Though I am obsessed with Brunello and Barolo, there are so many other good regions.
Thank you for your explanations. It helps a lot. Thumps up from #CilentoArea #AlburniMountains #SalernoCity #CampaniaRegion #SouthernItaly . I suggest you to give a look at the wines of that area, they are lovely, great wines and very old grape, tipically of that area.
Verdicchio grape varietal has two expressions or DOC and DOCQ (riserva) plus from two disctinct areas. Closer to the sea is Veidcchio dei Casteli di Jesi and further from the sea Verdichhio di Matelica centred around the city of Matelica. Both are great wines.
I'm a polish pharmacist who lives in the UK .I was impressed by Italian hospitality.I have a tiny vineyard in the coldest region in Poland( testing over 30 different species) and I have ordered Pecorino.I wanted a few plants to check .The management was so kind they they sent me over 50 plant of two different clones of Pecorino ISV and VCR 417 for free and I made them laugh because the minimum order was 5000 plants .I had to share plants with my friends in Poland .One of them is claiming that it is too cold but I think of glabal warming make Pecorino vine successful.I just wonder why I moved to the UK ,AND WHY WE EUROPENIANS HAVE TO SPEAK English .I was cheated by media that the UK IS a good country to live ,unfortunatelly I have discovered that the UK is not as good country I blame media.
È vero ! 😂 Grazie! Okay, so for those reading this, what is your: I. favorite central Italian wine even if you cannot personally afford it, II. favorite central Italian wine for the money, and III. last central Italian wine you had/tasted? I. (Fave) Brunello II. (Fave affordable) Morellino di Scansano III. (Most recently tasted) Frascati :-)
Extremely disappointed in you skipping Abruzzo altogether! Surely LCBO sells more multipulciano wines from Abruzzo than any from le Marche, yet you ignored this region. Shame on you!
I really enjoy this series of videos. But interjecting ads in the middle of them isn't cool. I can't do anything about the ads except skip them asap and then boycott or NOT buy whatever they were about.
stop trying to mis-pronounce italian & your videos will be much more watchable... btw you forgot vino nobile in your tuscan trifecta... your tastings are basic & not reflective of the actual wines
I sip wine in Italy like my guy Michael Fagan
Great stuff. LCBO is leading the way on wine videos.

I understand that wine in Italy can be made from grapes
Amo il vino
you need to return to Le Marche and discover Pecorino and of course Rosso Piceno Riserva from Offida and the surrounding countryside .

21:00 "Hello Clarice"
Which bottles did you taste? I want to buy them and do the tasting in order while watching the video for my birthday
"Soft, velvety tannins, deep red and black fruits, like a Shiraz or Merlot..." Oh sweet Winetrader talk ;)
That is quite basic, you often hear more detail than this from real nerds!
🍷🔥🍷🔥🍷🔥🍷

i really like wine
What a beautiful video!

Great documentary! but why did you skip Abruzzo region?
at about the 3 minute point, they talk montepulciano in abruzzo
You can say many things, positive and negative, about Italy, but the ignorance that foreigners show about the country is colossal!

Who else went to wipe off his/her iPhone at 2:05 only to discover that the fingerprint was on the camera lense while shooting this?
I thought that was a flock of birds haha

Very educational. Thank you. My only feedback, learn Italian. Several mispronounced words throughout the video.
