    My mom just got one of these and we have been confused by the power button and other things for 2 days. You have to HOLD it to shut it off. The instructions do not say this anywhere. Thanks for this video.

    good job. I'm currently using the bluetooth transmitter directly from my AVR system and it's sporadic at best. I'm going to try the Phonak TV connect to pair with my Paradise Hearing Aids.

    Sweet Hesus!
    Thanking you so much for your added info as instruction pamphlet is not user friendly or have adequate info and the site is hopeless with setup help!
    First, My audio connection is set up tru the cable box, the TV as noooooooo audio OUT port!
    So I plugged the red and white audio cord into the cable box audio out red and white port and the other end into the phonax tv connector port.
    (PAIRING/SYNCING)
    Press and hold the connect button that’s beside the green light to connect both hearing aid devises to TV connector.
    Make sure both hearing aids are close to tv connector when paring/connecting.
    You can then adjust volume accordingly via tv connector!
    Also if the tv is mute or volume off you can still hear the TVs
    Whalaaa👍
    Great vid with showing me the options based on model tv etc.

    Hi, Thanks so much for the video guide. Had a problem using the Phonak TV Connector .the guide which came with the unit was pretty poor. You guide got me up and running quickly, my wife can now hear the TV without me having the sound turned up too loud.

    Thanks for the video. Two questions - 1) does the TV Connector/Phonak app have a good, adjustable volume range, and 2) any reason why an hdmi audio extract6or from TV Connector to Apple TV would be a problem? Thanks!

    I've connected the TV Connector using the TOS/Optical Out cable, and the LED stays White, anyone know why? Also prior to setting the TV Connector up I had my Audiologist change the setting from Automatic to Manual so I have more control when I want to watch/hear the TV. I am supposed to use the Tap feature to connect manually to the TV Connector. Since it stays White and never changes to Green I can't test the Tap feature out. I have the Paradise Life (P90 RL).

    What if anything is a workaround when your TV only outputs Dolby Digital when viewing ATSC digital TV. There is no option to switch to PCM on this Panasonic LCD TV. This device will not accept Dolby Digital.

  • @RichTrost
    @RichTrost Год назад

    I have Phonak compatible hearing aids and a Panasonic TV with optical audio out. So why will this not work? Our Panasonic TV audio out
    is Dolby Digital when tuning a digital TV channel and digital TV is essentially universal. The Phonak TV connector requires your TV to output PCM or the ability to select PCM audio out. Our Panasonic does not have a PCM option for ATSC digital TV but is Dolby Digital ONLY! The Phonak device, which I would dearly love to have, will not work for me unless you have a work-around or the manual is incorrect in requiring PCM not Dolby Digital. My audiologist has no advice. Do you?

      Hi Mitch,
      Great question! Because every tv is different and there are various sizes of audio optical splitters, I don't have one to specifically link. Just make sure if you purchase a few brands that you can return them, in the event that it doesn't fit your tv.

    how to you connect to TV2 channel if for a second tv if channel TV1 is already in use

    • @DrCliffAuD
      @DrCliffAuD 2 года назад

      You just need to connect a second tv connector to the 2nd TV and pair it with your devices. Your hearing aids will recognize that tv connector as the 2nd one.

    I have tried setting up my connection using both of the different suggestions. I have an LG tv and am wondering if the connection has not been turned on because I haven’t been successful in getting the audio to stream through to my hearing aides.
    I previously had set my connection up through my Foxtel box and that worked for Foxtel programs but not when I was using Free to Air or other apps such as Netflix and Stan. Any suggestions as to what I might need to do?🙏
