Sandor saving Sansa was such an important moment. This was one of the few times he did something without being ordered. Poor Sansa 💔
Their relationship is so important in the book yet the show mostly gave their interactions to Sansa/Shae

He grew to love her, I believe. I have always been SanSan shipper. Sansa and Sandor. Beauty and the Beast.
@@alberthicks9691 The relationship is essential to both of their characters. Not just his role as Sansa's physical protector (a hound replacing her dead wolf) but as someone who lectures her on the realities of court and literally helps to reframe the way she sees the world. And it is that relationship which influences Sandor not only to leave KL, but to try to help Arya. Their impact on one another is why they do the things they do. I completely disagree that minimizing that or taking that away could ever add more depth to his character.
I love the Hound. He is one of my favorite side characters.
Cory, Ygritte is played by Rose Leslie who is Kit Harington's real life wife.
They began dating in 2011 and were married in 2018.
They have a son and second child on the way.
They're so perfect together-
Their kids will grow up to be beautiful
The line when Ser Rodrik says to Bran "Hush now i'm off to see your father" nearly broke my heart!! and also when he turns to Theon and says "Gods have mercy on you Theon Greyjoy for now you are truly lost" Now that's how a real man dies in this world!!
Baelish absolutely recognized Arya, but considering Cersei's little "power is power" trick with him, he wasn't exactly feeling like he ought to say hey there's Arya.
I doubt it. If Littlefinger knew it was Arya he would've done anything to get her in his own hand in order to have more power over both the Lannisters and the Starks.

I love how Shae cares for Sansa and how she speaks to her pragmatically. The world is a dangerous place, you must be prepared.
The Hound isn't a bad guy, he's just very rough around the edges from his life experiences, one which you know from season 1 from the story of what his brother did. He hates bullies and does what he can to help a victim like Sansa, since he was a victim himself
Plus he has a soft spot for girls in particular as his younger sister was probably killed by his older brother. So he feels especially protective which shows with both Sansa and later Arya.
I love the Tywin and Arya interactions so much. One of the few changes from the books I approve of!
Kind of a shame we didn't get Weasel and weasel soup but all in all I do agree the Tywin and Arya scenes are great.

Not to defend Theon but the sword he used to execute Ser Rodrik is a sword used for combat, much smaller than the one Ned used, which was an execution sword and Valyrian steel.
Shouldn't have tried to behead him then. Shows his inexperience and poor judgement. Could have called for an axe.
Rob and Jon got it done just fine with their smaller swords.

In the books Ygritte told John that Mance been searching for the Horn of Winter along the Milkwater( A river in the Frostfangs) saying they never found anything but old graves.

I did forget how good the scenes were with Tywin and Arya. Tywin might just be the overall best character on the show for me, besides Cersei
On my first watch at this point I was really wondering why everybody told me Daenerys was so great and such a great character, their favorite etc. I was intrigued in 1x10 when she got her dragons but bored of her storyline throughout the whole S2.

I think I may be the only person who likes the Spice King. He's got a wicked wit about him, and he has been on point with every single thing he has said. Nothing he says in the show is ever b.s. He cuts through everyone else's b.s. and tells the real deal, whether his audience wants to hear it or not. And he does it with style.
I totally forgot they were starting to drop one on Sundays. what a nice surprise, like finding a 20 in your pocket you didn't realize you had.

Your reaction to Theon's "botched" execution of Ser Rodrik is so funny because, honestly, that's how most beheadings go in real life. The quick and clean cuts you see in media are as much fantasy as the dragons are. It's a huge mistake the show made, presenting this as Theon being uniquely pathetic, and cutting out the deliberate thematic parallel from later in the books by making that later execution a clean, single-strike one.
Yeah I've seen a lot of horrible gore online and I've never seen a clean chop.. It's always slow and awful
@@Quzga Clean happens but isn't preferred as slow with a dull blade makes it worse and more fearful which is why cartel members have dull blades. ISIS would be an example of those who do it "cleanly" with a single strike
