Absolutely outstanding, you've clearly done this a lot. I purchased this trigger kit and have an XDM Elite OSP and plan to do the swap using the blue springs. After watching this I now feel confident in doing this.
I would never do this but TU for detailed film. trigger on XDM elite is just fine as is although heavy 5 pounds. but i can see this making it even better.
Are y’all gonna ever post a video for the only spring kit? I got my package and there’s not a video, instructions or anything on the package describing or labeling the springs by picture on the packaging paper. Would be greatly helpful!
I own an xdm elite 5.25 . I purchased a spring kit set from Toni systems . Trigger spring , shear spring , striker spring , striker safery and and the triker counter spring . 5 in total . My trigger pull came down to 3.5/3.7 pounds but I found out that my gun would NOT fire all the ammo . I got light primer strikes and had to choose specific brands and types of ammo . Is this normal ?
I have an XDM elite 10mm. I got a PRP kit for it. Using the competition striker spring (blue color) I got about 40% failures to fire. I installed the other supplied spring and got one failure in 75 rounds. All of the primers had light strikes with both springs. All of the rounds would fire on the second strike. I am using Winchester primers in new Starline cases.
Would this kit negatively effect the reliability of the xdm? What if I keep all the old springs and just use the improved hardware? Like with apex trigger kits. It comes with a page with instructions on how light one wants their trigger to be.
I just installed the Extreme flat aluminum trigger kit to my XDM 10mm 3.8. I actually did it the opposite. Used the new springs and kept the old hardware just to test it out and it did not like that at all. The trigger did not work for what ever reason and I did not want to dig into it. Once all components that came with the kit was installed, the trigger was flawless. I do not have a trigger pull tester but definitely could really tell the difference. Took it to the range right away, put 150rds through it with no issues at all. Only time will tell regarding reliability. So far I am happy with it and highly recommend it in my opinion.
@@Nchai-Yang nice, thanks for the response. So did you use all the new springs as well? The low striker spring may cause light strikes, read on forums that’s what happens.
@@Nchai-Yang on their site, it doesn’t say anything in detail other than , that the trigger won’t work if one doesn’t use their propriety disconnect. I may get the kit and change out the components but use the factory springs to keep reliable strikes, the trigger shoe looks great and it’s aluminum too.
@@unitedwestanddividedwefall3521 I used the striker, striker safety, trigger bar and the sear springs. Did not know about the low strikes, thank you for the info will have to keep and eye out for it. Definitely plan on putting more rounds through it, lets hope all is good.
Why does me keep getting stuck after applying sear? The sear seems like its not sitting correctly so when i push down on it, the safty grip just stays stuck. This happened the 3rd time already and honestly im scared 😱
I never realized how bad the trigger was until today. Shooting multiple guns (echelon and a custom p80) . It felt like a sponge with unpredictable break.

Thanks so much! Worked like a champ!
Thank you, this was a huge help and I love the trigger!! I got the exact same trigger weight.
Worked amazing feels much better than the stock heavy squishy trigger with no defined breakpoint. its now smooth and crisp

Well done!! You make it look soooooo easy!
Wow so informative, thank you

@warrenhartz6211 did you purchase the extreme kit or the standard kit?
Is it possible to use the stock flat trigger instead of the one that comes with the kit?
That's what I did hopefully I didn't fuck anything up lol
Yes. Doesn’t matter.
Will this work with a xdm 3.8 45 compact. Non elite version
Why do some of these "Elites" have a double reset? From what I can tell yours doesn't.
The stock sear spring is lighter than the sear spring that comes with the kit. What's up with that?

Will this kit negatively effect reliability? I want the drop in aluminum trigger but the site, states i need the safety bar? For it work?

What is that U-notch brand? I am looking for exacly the same for my XDM.
I want to order a red flat face trigger that I found online, thank you for this video

Will this work with the original xdm
Love you trigger man!
Not sure carrying a 2.5lb trigger for CCW is a good idea
It's not a bad idea.
Will this kit fit on a tisas px9 gen 3? Think its a clone of the xd..
How does this effect reliability?
For a carry gun would never trust it
I left my old trigger on it n it is lighter but also acts like a reset trigger
Does this work in the osp elite
Are the frame rails all plastic or are they metal?
Rear rails are plastic. Forward rails are steel
I have a xdm I installed my trigger kits in it prp getting 3.and half trigger pull
On your previous videos you left out one of those springs, do do have to reuse it with this kit?
can i have that delivered to the philippines?
Wait… what… RUclips reminds me that I’m not that smart because I could never do this. Watching this I’m confused af
What does the blue spring do different? Which one should you use?
It’s lighter weight
😐😎
WTF??? UR SKIPPING ENTIRE SECTIONS????? THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE USELESS WITHOUT THEM. EPIC FAIL!!!!
