A few things on the rotation, Did you consider teammate buff durations for these? His forte liberation has 3s animation time before you can attack, add the 2-3s for monke echo cast and intro skill then you've spent 7-8s on field before entering his ult. (Might not be an ossue if the utl state snapshots stats but i doubt) I also found a small tech where you can cancel his first attack during ult with a skill cast and both attacks still come out. The timing was a bit tight but wss more dps than casting them sequentially.
@@josephs.7960 Yes we did. His Forte is only 0.67 seconds as we dont include the timestop from the "custcene". Monkey will be switch cancelled, hence 0.5s. Total rotation time is 12.73s, mortefi is around 7-8sec. Feel free to check the sheet in the description.
Couple of critiques: 07:03 : Should make text that do not have background or shadows more visable or closer to the graphic instead of all the way at the bottom. everybody is already looking at the graphic so make the text close to it. 10:15 : jarring text. Everyone is looking at the text in the center from the previous few seconds and now the text is smaller and at the bottom. Should be more consistent so the viewer has to do less "work" enjoying the video, If that makes any sense. If you wanted to keep the captions you had in the previous seconds then make it so it containes more words per sentence and then add the paragraph that was at the bottom of the video to the center. Adding a darkened blur background or something of that type to make it easier to read. 12:39 : Video has just a black background. should cut that or add something to it. I assume this was an export error or something. MISC: - I also cant figure out your use of captions they seem to be inconsistent. 04:53 could include them since the narrators voice is distorted but idk. - You seem to have different text graphics : 04:09 is different from 05:08 (outline maybe?) which is different from 10:18 (outline thickness) maybe something more consistant between text that is not captions? Captions seem to be the only text consistent. - You seem to have mogrts for alot of things. Perhaps making a mogrt for the footage credits, instead of text at the bottom for credits. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not trying to be mean, just trying to be helpful. :) your graphs at 1:20 and 7:54 are sick tho. have any tutorials on how to achieve something similar? I'm no professional, and I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but when you change the audio to have that slightly muffled, old-timey filter, I have a hard time hearing what's being said. Love the editing otherwise though!

cant wrap my head around the fact that autumntrace R1 is only less than 1% better than Broadblade41 R1. Having CR instead of ER and also practically constant up to 20% ATK buff instead of 12% no way this is only this litte difference

Would want to get Calcharo but with your recent collab stream, I'm reminded not that great in these type of games and might not use him properly. i also want Jiyan. Because I just like dragons in particular. I'm a recent sub and I really appreciate the WuWa vids. They're very informative and straight to the point.
Note: using one of the Echoes with Energy Recharge instead of ATK is amazing and will actually boost your damage a lot, since you'll easily keep your ultimate up all the time.
Personally I'm very much split on who to play/pull for. If I get Calcharo I will pull for Yinlin, but if I don't get him, I'm definitely pulling for Jiyan. I'm picking the selector for Verina, given how strong of a healer/buffer she is. Might still pull for Jiyan given I enjoy the way he looks and so far his playstyle over that of Calcharo.
Will definitely be following you for this game love you content so far. Bit unrelated but who would you run Calcharro with before Yinlin comes out? I think you mentioned in the recent tier list stream you did you had a hard time picking subdps for him until then but just wanted your thoughts.
Not very clear guide, but the effort is appreciated. If no Mortifi...go for Aalto. Aero DMG buffer, equipped with Cadenza ( or ER weapon) works great as battery and Jiyan has almost zero downtime.

I have smt to add tho if you find it useful, regarding the combo stuff: If you are using Low Priority doc, as I believe it is the case, you need to have in mind that the frame data in combos is a WIP. I strongly recommend you to wait or find it for yourself or find people who are trying to count frame data and then use it. I am one of those who are currently doing it by themselves, so I could tell you my opinion about it if you could find it useful. I find it really hard rn to frame and find a combo for every boss behaviour when its attacking, so I do capture the frames when you dodge and when you parry and from then extrapolate. For example, Mephis hologram has an average of 60 frames at 30 frames per second when you dodge, and around 132 when you parry, if you have captured the delay of every hit in a combo, you have a map of those combos respecting the frame window. You can then do that for every boss and see if there is a pattern, or if there was a combo that was too slow, or whenever you could fail how much that would be for the total dmg. An example again, Jiyan had a Normal ult cancel that was really good, but if you fail you would jump atk, resulting in a huge dps drop, but what if you could do 2 ult cancelling and stop there and continue like normally? how is compared to just spamming the click or dodge cancel? All that could be dicussed if we have a decent frame capture, smt we dont have at this moment. Sorry for the long text but I hope you find it useful

Is there a DPS calculator available? My Jiyan had 1400 attack but 250% CD, 82% aero dmg, 63% CC and 43% ER. How would that compare to the recommended stats? Should I reroll some CD pieces?
The E in "Forte" isn't silent. You even want to stress the second syllable. "For-TE" A lot of the skill terminology in WuWa come from music theory and are pronounced like the original Italian.

The simple way kuro couldve made using his full kit viable would be to add passive buffs upon using certain attacks, like on the aerial plunge for instance, add a passive 15s crit chance/dmg bonus. Changes like this would incentivize utilizing the entire combo chain so as to make the most out of his on-field dps capabilities when going into his liberation form

you don't need identical echos ( duplicates are not calculated), just 5 of the same element/type. You can go for one Monkey with aero, then 4 other aero echo, just watch the cost and the stats

Jiyan is the reason I got interested in WuWa a few months ago (Just like Jing Yuan did a few months before HSR was released) so I'll pull for him no matter what. I just like handsome fictional men, don't judge me! Thank you for the guide! I personally have never bothered learning any rotations, I'm more of a "random bs go!" type of player and I've always fared well like that. I like to have fun rather than min-max every aspect of a game so a rough guideline on on build & team comp is what I need most of the time. His rotation seems to be simple enough, so I might try to use that as baseline and see if that works for me. There is a reason why my main in Genshin is Neuvillette, haha. Furina E > Raiden E > (Baizhu E >) Neuvi E/Q & left hold to powerwash the enemies to death. Hmmm, damage.
His weapon does not seem flexible because heavy attacks normally consume stamina. Skipping for now and maybe will get it on a rerun. Characters are the priority for now because skill sets.

I be getting all element dmg bonuses on the sierra gale except the aero dmg bonus set which is the one meant for the set, the only time I get aero dmg bonus from a hoosechief is when its from a differente set, Ive been experimenting this bad luck since day 2 playing and it hasn't changed till now

you don't need identical echos ( duplicates are not calculated), just 5 of the same element/type. You can go for one Monkey with aero, then 4 other aero echo, just watch the cost and the stats

my master plan is to pull weapon first since its guranteed IF i get calcharo from beginner banner. if not i will pull him and if i win i will go for his weapon too
Jiyan is the reason I got interested in WuWa a few months ago (Just like Jing Yuan did a few months before HSR was released) so I'll pull for him no matter what.

Thank you for the guide! I personally have never bothered learning any rotations, I'm more of a "random bs go!" type of player and I've always fared well like that. I like to have fun rather than min-max every aspect of a game so a rough guideline on on build & team comp is what I need most of the time. His rotation seems to be simple enough, so I might try to use that as baseline and see if that works for me.

His weapon does not seem flexible because heavy attacks normally consume stamina. Skipping for now and maybe will get it on a rerun. Characters are the priority for now because skill sets.
I have a question for you ... Is mortefi as big as support for Jiyan as Yinlin is for Calcharo ? Wondering if there's room for an aero yinlin typa char
Mortefi buff heavy attacks & Jiyan atk is mostly heavy atk, so it's more of buff rather than sub dps
Yinlin is definitely a better support, I would say Mortefi is not quite on her level with regards to being a dps booster

Mortefi gives A LOT of damage to Jiyan. IMO there is no replacement for him currently. Maybe Aalto works? Tbh havent looked too deep into Aalto

this guy is insane, his kit and design, but i love all 4 limited chars announced and he is the least desirable for me at first sight. Don´t know what to do, i can´t get all as f2p. Maybe I´ll do 20-30 pulls and if i get him early, nice, otherwise i doubt I´m pulling all the way in
Is anyone having extremely bad luck with the hoose chief sierra gale set? I be getting all element dmg bonuses on the sierra gale except the aero dmg bonus set which is the one meant for the set, the only time I get aero dmg bonus from a hoosechief is when its from a differente set, Ive been experimenting this bad luck since day 2 playing and it hasn't changed till now
