It's different foe danjin because she just dies when she gets hit. For changli it's infuriating, imagin is hsr (if you play that) that everytime you character get their turn you have 5050 chance that they get CC'd WHILE their doing their attack. This can't be called a drawback, its just a straight up restriction put there on purpose, literally no other character has a drawback this bad. Your right that it's not the end of the world but it's is most definelty something that should have been built into her kit.
@navavelu151 I literally said danjin just dies. And that is also a restriction because it means you CANT get hit. Changli has that drawback so you can't abuse swap cancels and so you have to focus on timing. All it takes is a little practice. It's really not that bad once you practice a bit

I honestly glad the way changli is, when jinshi release and her power level spike out to the roof i thought every singgle carry release after 1.0 gonna be all ahead of the competitor that at some point 1.0 carry gonna be seen as trash character less than a year into the game I think jinshi is so unbalanced in terms of how much damage she deal when her rotation is super text book and easy to do with basically no downside no cancel no effort when the other carry who deal similiar damage like chalcaro have so many issue in his gameplay, and character who doesn't have issue in their gameplay doesn't deal as much damage as her
Absolutely. Changli is a wonderful design. Jiyan and Jinhsi are broken, they trivialize the game even just by parrying everything easily. They are literally just skill issue / super comfort characters. We shouldn't be getting more characters like that or this game will be simply ruined. We need characters like Changli.

Is the 8% different in resistance to interruptions that big of a difference? Will it resist boss attacks or only small fries enemies. Also in the dual dps team rotation tht you shown you sais swap cancel to encore\chixia at the beginning, but should you also swap to havoc rover at this point as well?
Her S1 basically completely nullifies any possible interruptions. For the swaps, encore/chixia is just an example, insert basically whatever teammembers u have here

I hate how sequences actually just majorly improve the qol of a character instead of being there in the first place, Jinshi s2 and now Changli s1... Adding more damage is fine, just don't paywall making the character fun 😭😭😭

Bro, forget about this max DPS nonsense, Changli will do damage just fine, play who you want to play, that the only sense you need. Trust me, it's the best advice on pulling you can get. You enjoy Changli's design and animations? go for her, have fun, it's just a game, there's no prize or leaderboard to conquer anyway.

Hello, I'd like to get some opinions. I was planning to pull for Changli to pair with my Encore but I've been hearing that she doesn't synergize as well as I hoped because they both want a lot of field time. My current teams are Calcharo (hoping to replace with Xiangli Yao) Yinlin Jianxin, Rover Sanhua Verina, and I was hoping to build the last team to be Encore Changli Baizhi but am worried it would be better to just for Jinshi and pair her with a S5 Yuanwu and bench Rover or Encore. I'm a low spender who just buys battle pass and astrite pass, but struggle with ToA so I think it would be smart to prioritize what would help my account the most even though I wanted Changli. I also lost my last 50/50 so I'm guaranteed on the next banner and have about 14k astrite to spend. Any advise or suggestions are appreciated!
Disclaimer: My answer is probably not what you want to hear, so I hope somebody else here or in my discord can help you out. I am always of the opinion to pull for the characters who you personally like (be it visually or mechanic-/gameplay-wise). If you like Changli and Encore and want to play them together, I don't think it is wrong to pull for her. She is not a bad character by any means, she is just not as strong as, for example, Jinhsi. You can clear all content in the game with basically all characters. If you only care about absolute maximum performance, Jinhsi and Yuanwu are probably a better pair than Changli and Encore, at least for now. But ToA also will get a Fusion DMG Bonus Buff, so there is that as well. Another option, if you can't decide at all, you can also play H-Rover with Encore and save your pulls for another upcoming character.

I do like Changli as a character but after watching you break down her kit I don't think I'll be able to play her optimally and get knocked out of truesight often because I'm not the most skilled. From what I have seen in your Jinshi video and other creators Jinshi can't get knocked out of her combo and carries on where left off? I don't dislike Jinshi and tried to get both but lost the 50/50 so now I can only get one more than likely and Jinshi banner ends soon. I like her air playstyle and feel like she requires a lot less mechanical skill, would you agree she is easier to play?

I lost another 50/50 wihich is the 3rd time and I am not disappointed cause I got verina E1. And changli is not really broken compare to jinshi. Next goal is to get the painter which is guarantee next patch. Good luck to Changli wanters. Also got Mortefi to E6 so it's not bad.
@@iamrivenous One thing, king. You missed how you can swap Changli in her special state but leaving casting True Sight for later. It's pretty big for swapping. Including - how you can use both Encore start skill and special attack at the end of the skill. Or - how you can swap for Encore's enhanced heavy attack which is... liberation damage -> can be buffed by Changli. In general it seems like you underestimated her synergy with Encore by a lot. To me it's at least questionable whether Chixia works better instead.
I like blindfolds, but for Changli it feels like an afterthought. Like, why does it appear towards the end of her using her power? It's like they wanted the blindfold fans so just stapled it onto Changli without much thought. It doesn't suit her or fit her outfit or personality.
It's because it isn't explained at all in the story and only makes sense if you look at the little details in the game and read the many book hidden around the game. The reasoning is seemingly because of time shenanigans and her eyes literally melting out of their sockets when she uses her power above a certain point. Sound like BS to me tbh but eh.
i'm not a whale, and not going to be, but im willing to spend all my saved up astrites for changli. i am at 32nd pity in limited char pull, and i currently have 14k astrites saved up. and as someone that really wants to have fun playing changli, i am now devoted to pull for her s1 since you dont really recommend her exclusive weapon. i already have emerald of genesis, and now im thinking of not pulling for her weapon, WILL PULLING FOR HER S2 BE A GOOD DECISION?
Well, depends on the rotation used and assumptions made for the calculations. Final damage numbers between different calcs are comparibly meaningless if the assumption basis is different. The most important part is the takeaway.

The biggest issue of this game is the lack of crit rate on echoes and how low they are making crit dmg weapons significant bad compared to crit rate ones, is gonna be almost impossible to reach 70% crit rate with her weapon and for a dps that's simple a bad ratio and is gonna affect her damage a lot, nobody is talking about this except Jstern and he already drop the game because he knows that 4 star weapon are bad on purpose only to sell you the 5 star, they make the problem and sell you the solution, this will be a problem for the future of the game if they don't increase the crit rate rolls, building a char with a 4 star weapon is impossible and for instance if you have 100% crit rate her weapon should perform like 15~20% better than emerald, wuwa could never is about to make his debut
But the 5 star weapon is guaranteed 100%. You are safe to pull them. Why are people nitpicking on this? Why would they make 4 stars as good as 5 stars? 🙄

If changli was a genshin character her second skill charge would be a constellation but kuro just gives it to you for free
The biggest issue of this game is the lack of crit rate on echoes and how low they are making crit dmg weapons significant bad compared to crit rate ones, is gonna be almost impossible to reach 70% crit rate with her weapon and for a dps that's simple a bad ratio and is gonna affect her damage a lot, nobody is talking about this except Jstern and he already drop the game because he knows that 4 star weapon are bad on purpose only to sell you the 5 star, they make the problem and sell you the solution, this will be a problem for the future of the game if they don't increase the crit rate rolls, building a char with a 4 star weapon is impossible and for instance if you have 100% crit rate her weapon should perform like 15~20% better than emerald, wuwa could never is about to make his debut
But the 5 star weapon is guaranteed 100%. You are safe to pull them. Why are people nitpicking on this? Why would they make 4 stars as good as 5 stars? 🙄
WuWa could never make as much revenue as Hoyoverse games because they are not as stingy.
