Were there symptoms before the replacement? This is the most recent and thorough vid about the purge valve I can find!!! Good job. My 13 Malibu won’t go up hills or and cant seem to find power to pass people up on the road.
@@artieramirez8272 it just had the code, there weren’t any issues other than the engine light being on.
wait ... I thought that was the purge valve ?
@@JamesMLaRose you are correct that is the purge valve.
The p0449 fault code is evap vent solenoid malfunction.
@@onearmworks I thought the evap vent solenoid was above the gas tank or above the canister. I guess i thought wrong
