I love the concept of this. I remember playing a indie game years ago where everything was opposites - coins killed you while spikes and falling off ledges helped you. I hope more levels use these functions to mess with players.

Edit : Nevermind, just the dumb easy solution. with blocks in their way, launchers can't spawn. Logic. I like it.
*Well, it’s actually surprisingly simple.*
There are bullet bill launchers where the coins are, but there are also on/off blocks where they are, preventing them from spawning. At the end, you activate the on/off block, so the blasters can spawn, BUT a p-switch is activated (there’s a p-door so you must activate the p-switch and when you come out of the door, a setup causes the p-switch to be activated if the p-switch is already active to reset the timer). The coins you don’t collect turn into brick blocks from the p-switch, preventing the blasters from spawning, but if you collect one, there would be no coin, so there would be no brick block preventing the blaster from spawning, and it appears, crushing the player.

@@kwisowofer9872 Sorry, I was dumb enough to write that before even the video was finished. Though I wonder if you can use coins as overflow. You take a coin, you get below the max and boom, something spawn.
I think coins are like blocks. You can draw them in the maker instead of having to place one at a time, they can’t be placed in other blocks, and what makes the most sense, they turn into blocks when a p-switch is active. Coins do not cause an entity “overflow” because they’re blocks, despite being in the items section.
Somewhere out there, NicoBBQ is smiling.
Am I the only one wondering how this was made? How can you make a mechanism that depends on the coins?

this happens because if you collected the coin the launcher would spawn making you die if u didn't collect the coin then the launcher wouldn't spawn because the blocks would be there

Ok here how’s it work:
First Mario enters a pipe then it contain him,he’s in the controller where he has to play the game (2D platform btw) but here’s the catch,it’s a atuoscoll level like the cinema level.Also the controller is like the Five night at Freddy level or something like that.The character is a gomba and you need to help him get to the end but if he dies you will die too.Btw pls Credit me
