This video is actually a slightly altered episode from that series.
This version isn't canon to my 'Pikmin in Super Mario' series, I just thought the episode (originally starring Imajin from Doki Doki Panic) would be nice with Mario as a standalone video, people who hadn’t seen the rest of the series would wonder why Mario wasn't the main character in the original version.
For the special treasures found in this video, I asked viewers to submit their pixel art to be used as the treasures in this episode, along with a name for the treasure and description. A very special thanks to everyone who took part in the contest, the art and writing I’ve received has been amazing!

Super Mario World is my all time favorite Mario game, and while I've never actually played Pikmin i was always in love with the concept. Thanks for this amazing video :D

actually that idea of fighting all the koopa kids at the end actually sounds really cool and could have been used as an interesting final boss in a Mario game.
I noticed an error at around 4:01. When the yellow pikmin dies in the lava, it doesnt release a spirit.
This error does not make the video bad though. Its just something nitpicky. Anyways have a nice day!
Thanks, this wasn’t an error though, I hadn’t added it yet but then thought without the cartoony sound and just silence after it was more dramatic 🤣 especially as it was the first boss fight

Clearly some programming talent here! I wonder if you were to use the Mario rocket ship (at the beginning of the clip) and simply make a side scrolling shooter (being compatible with all/most of Super Mario World's levels)... ..and the emphasis would be to make it fun, easy, and with loads of cool animations + sound effects!

okay also I did not expect the ending, with the Yoshis, wow. That was adorable and amazing. Purple Yoshi's sonic burps can defeat ANY foe!!!! (Not to mention the music box theme in SMW style was fantastic and I love everything about that theme so hearing that made me get super excited.)

Nope, the original had the Super Mario Bros 2 music to help vary the music, as that was only relevant because Imajin was in it I removed it, but then only the same SMW song was used for ages, so the same music guy kindly did that short bit of music to help split it up 😊 sadly that’s all he made

Rewatching this and I wish we'd get a dedicated series to this game. Maybe spending a day on each world instead of rushing through the koopalings. Would get to see more of individual levels and the unique enemies of this particular game
