    The best thing about this rest is the fact that the arrow can be cocked before launch, you don't need to cock it down before each shot unlike the MX from Mathews or the Hamskea Hunter Pro...

    It's great to see this in slow motion. I have an AAE prophesy mounted on my PSE Xpedite. I wondered at what point the rest began dropping. What causes the sear to disengage? Is it simply the sudden release of cable tension?
    I am considering buying another Prophesy for my 2nd bow. I like the fact that this rest requires a minimal amount of tuning.

    The fact that the launcher is bouncing around before it even drops is concerning. The last thing I'd want is my arrow bouncing around while it's going through the power stroke.

      What you're seeing is the arrow flexing due to acceleration and the result it has on the launcher. The arrow being able to push the launcher around a bit is far better than the alternative of the arrow rest not yielding at all, which pushes the arrow off it's natural course. High speed reveals that there's a lot more going on with the arrow, and the bow during launch than one might expect...
