I've only read that Rex (and other clone leaders like Cody) had ARC level training on top of their commander training but were not considered to be ARCs
It would seem pretty rational that Rex was classified as an ARC as he was one of many future clone leaders to go through Alpha’s training program. But that would raise the question of why Cody, Baccara, etc. aren’t considered ARCs too.
I suppose Rex's case isn't too dissimilar to a US Special Forces operator who managed to become a General, there were a few in the USAF and US Army, if I recall correctly. Rex could have originally been trained as an ARC trooper, but was transferred to the officer corps when his aptitude for leadership was discovered. #askeck, do you think Thrawn could make an appearance in the next season of The Mandalorian? It takes place in 9 ABY, the year Thrawn was killed by Rukh in legends... except in canon Rukh was killed in Star Wars Rebels in 0BBY on Lothal.
Maybe ARC Troopers in Canon are more similar to the US Army's Rangers. There is the specific Ranger school in which you receive additional training and are awarded a ranger tab but then are sent back to their same positions just with additional skills (ie Fives and Echo) however there also is the 75th Ranger Battalion which is a special operations unit. (ie Fordo)
I never thought of captain Rex as an ARC! Maybe he has the training for it but didn’t accept the former title. Like how he never became a commander of the 501st out of respect for ahsoka!! Interesting!!! Great great video, very entertaining and informative!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been in so many arguments because people do not recognise the differences between the Facelifted 1.5 ARC armour and the Phase 2 ARC armour. There are no Phase 2 ARCs in Battlefront II 2017, sadly. I wish they added Legion Appearances for the ARCs though.
I find it interesting how the arc trooper armor in the clone wars actually had distinct extra armor plating on the torso covering the chest. Which makes me think fives make have been able to survive his shot to the chest had he still been in his arc trooper armor, even though that would have been impossible. Still food for thought.
do you think you can make what if yoda trained young anakin skywalker or make what if anakin stayed on mortis just like the father said ,took his place to keep the son and daughter controlled
In Battlefront 2 2017 I'm still struggling to decide whether to use a Phase 1 ARC Trooper armor skin or a Phase 2 ARC Trooper armor skin (or technically 1.5 as you've pointed out). I grew up on the 2003 Clone Wars series so everytime I think ARC Trooper I think of Fordo and his crew kicking ass and lookin' good while doing it, but the Phase 2 armor also looks really good.
I never actually noticed that ARC helmets actually made a transition into just a P2-esqe design by Umbara. Bit of a disappointment personally, I always liked how distinctive the ARC helmets looked, even compared to standard P2 helmets.
Arc troopers remind me of US Army rangers. They can be part of the Arc unit (idk what it's calls) or the Ranger Regiment. They can also be part of other units, like officers getting tabbed up and placed as platoon leads ect in the army or like Rex, Fives and echo.
I mean, makes sense that Rex would have received ARC training. He certainly fights like them, and easily meets the same qualifications that Fives and Echo did. Especially if the Jaig eyes on his helmet are still supposed to hold significance, and not just be something neat he painted on his armor.
It would've be interesting if the phase-II helmets had the same sort of crest as were on the heads of the Cylon Centurions in Battlestar Galactica (1978 series).
What are the rolls and responsibilities of ARC troopers? And how do they differ from Commandos? I've heard it assumed that the training and status is like the Ranger tab in the US Army.
Has no one else noticed that ARC trooper armor seems to have an additional plate of armor on the breastplate? And in the clone commando book series (legends), the ARC trooper armor is described as heavier than regular clone armor. (Clone trooper Corr had to wear ARC Captain Ordo's armor)
I don't know if it is just the lighting and paint throwing me off with the phase 1.5 helmet, but to me it does look bulkier. The chin filters look like they have less of a decline angle, and the chin valves are closer together. Also the face plate looks closer together giving a tighter look to it.
I don't get it, how the clones die in the clone tv show but the rebels show. The stormtroopers will get shot but they got knocked out. The clones went to war they should have better armour. The stormtroopers are like a police officer patrolling the area. Please give me an answer to this question
Battlefront 2's Phase II ARC Troopers still have the antenna from the Phase I helmet, so not sure how that conflicts with canon. Looks cooler at least lol.
There was no phase 1.5, this is a delusion. There is ARC phase 1 armor and ARC phase 2 armor. ARK Phase 1 Armor, looked like regular Phase 1 armor, but with modifications. ARK Phase 2 Armor, looked like Phase 2 armor but was essentially a prototype for Phase 2.
It's nice that rex original was alpha but since they didn't want three main character with a A in there name they changed it to rex and made him different then alpha

#askeck, do you think Thrawn could make an appearance in the next season of The Mandalorian? It takes place in 9 ABY, the year Thrawn was killed by Rukh in legends... except in canon Rukh was killed in Star Wars Rebels in 0BBY on Lothal.
Barbecued to death tho.
(ie Fordo)
Everyone: Cody vs Rex ho you tink wil WIN?
Me: 99
If 99 woul'd be fight able we wouldn't need Cody and Rex.
Yurij Kokurin He is able but he are to strong. The caminos dont want to see the mess after take down everyone.
I rewatched the clone wars episodes too and I do agree that there isn’t as much ARC content then remembered
Another difference I’ve noticed between phase 1 and 2 is that phase 1 has a fin sort of thing on top of the helmet.
I need to know how to build clone armor
Also I need to find out how to get one of those things on the helmet that bly has also 422nd siege battalion
Check out Ryzer’s channel. He made a suit and dc-17 out of like industrial floor mats or something
I never thought of captain Rex as an ARC! Maybe he has the training for it but didn’t accept the former title. Like how he never became a commander of the 501st out of respect for ahsoka!! Interesting!!! Great great video, very entertaining and informative!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for this video and who is your top 2 favorite Arc Troopers.
Let's get a vid on the republic commandos! Loving this clone wars content, Eck.
Love your vids hope to see more I would really like to hear about some force abilities
Who's hyped for clone wars season 7
They better give us a season 8 if they make enough money off season 7. Dark Disciple, Boba vs Bane, Son of Dathomir, and Yoda and Bad Batch Kashyyyk ARC are a must. It could also be a extension of season 7 or a bonus season.
@@billclark5055 it doesnt matter how ever u interpret it....season 8 is never ever gonna happen unfortunately....and plus its the final season.....
@@billclark5055 Lucasfilm already confirmed season 7 is the last one.
@@loganwright3673 That sucks. But haven't they changed their minds before? Regardless, I think he should demand a soundtrack be made for the Dark Disciple book. Shouldn't be too hard to do and it would be lit. Plus we better get a Bad Batch film or video game.
How would Palpatine do in the Warhammer 40k universe? Would he be able to achieve a position of power through either his political skill or for be powers? Or would he be destroyed easily since the Warhammer universe is so much stronger than the Star Wars universe? #askeck
I've been in so many arguments because people do not recognise the differences between the Facelifted 1.5 ARC armour and the Phase 2 ARC armour. There are no Phase 2 ARCs in Battlefront II 2017, sadly. I wish they added Legion Appearances for the ARCs though.
could you please make a video explaining the orgins of the ARC Trooper skins in Battlefront 2 (Lambent, Cobalt and Umbra)? Thanks!!!
I don’t know if you couldn’t find any info or something, but you forgot to mention their add-on chest armor, as well as the forearm and calf armor.
You should do a breakdown of the different specialization of phase two armor
I'm pissed that Havoc and Colt died and they werent expanded on
Much prefer the prototype phase 2 helmet. ARCs look weird without the fin on-top of their helmets.
I find it interesting how the arc trooper armor in the clone wars actually had distinct extra armor plating on the torso covering the chest. Which makes me think fives make have been able to survive his shot to the chest had he still been in his arc trooper armor, even though that would have been impossible. Still food for thought.
Thumbnail: shows phase 1.5, and phase 2
Me: there is no change except for the stance and lighting
I wish they stuck with the Alpha ARC class, it’s alot cooler thinking the ARCs were bred to be ARCS, not volunteer for it
do you think you can make what if yoda trained young anakin skywalker or make what if anakin stayed on mortis just like the father said ,took his place to keep the son and daughter controlled
In Battlefront 2 2017 I'm still struggling to decide whether to use a Phase 1 ARC Trooper armor skin or a Phase 2 ARC Trooper armor skin (or technically 1.5 as you've pointed out). I grew up on the 2003 Clone Wars series so everytime I think ARC Trooper I think of Fordo and his crew kicking ass and lookin' good while doing it, but the Phase 2 armor also looks really good.
and please make more what ifs we missed you doing them
I never actually noticed that ARC helmets actually made a transition into just a P2-esqe design by Umbara.
There are even something called arc commanders such as commander colt
It would've be interesting if the phase-II helmets had the same sort of crest as were on the heads of the Cylon Centurions in Battlestar Galactica (1978 series).
What are the rolls and responsibilities of ARC troopers? And how do they differ from Commandos? I've heard it assumed that the training and status is like the Ranger tab in the US Army.
I think you should make a video on how Rex(clone wars show) is/was an ark trooper it would be very interesting.
Also I definitely did cry when 99 died
5:08 Wilson!
The phase 1.5 8s Rex's armor
7:41 that’s stupid it been 17 years it should be free to use
Or at LEAST on Disney+
With Rex, it goes with the saying that it is better to have an army of sheep led by a lion than an army of lions led by a sheep
You should do a video talking about the most important arcs to watch going into Season 7.
Alden S Jones I believe to start from the end of season 3 and end at season 6. I don’t think seasons 1 and 2 are really important.
Isn‘t it Legends that Rex, Cody, etc. reiceived ARC-Tropper trainig by Alpha 17?
Thanks for doing this video. It would make sense for Rex to have this additional training as an ARC trooper.
I wish we could’ve gotten an alpha17 cameo in TCW.
Do another vid about ARC troopers!
In Landing at Point Rain and some other episodes, you see clones with weird hexagon things on the sides of their helmets. What're those?
Phase 1.5
Lol
Battlefront 2's Phase II ARC Troopers still have the antenna from the Phase I helmet, so not sure how that conflicts with canon. Looks cooler at least lol.
Dam thought I was first but I liked the video first 🥳
Nice Ironman picture 👍👍
6:45 no, ARC's don't have the mouth/chin piece as phase II
Phase 1.5 looks like a stormtrooper helmet and phase 3 armor was stormtrooper armor and 1.5 plus 1.5 equals 3.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
What would a fight between Darth Nihilus and Abeloth look like?
Abeloth would eat nihilus.
Unsc vs Starfleet in a total war
