Melta is a close range weapon so it makes more sense to have it on the fighty dreadnought than on the shooty one, which only has long and medium range weapons.
Its so sad that a lot of it is just "pictures of miniatures filler" and a walking advertisement of combat patrols ....that being said i enjoy the new/old artwork and will enjoy the new lore ...it seems there has been an effort made to include artwork that hasnt been used much in other editions which i appreciate ....£40 of artwork and lore to add to my collection
The 392 pages for the rulebook is right. Thats 332 pages of background/crusade + 60 pages of core rules. The core rules are numbered separately so they will be the same whether you use this book, the free pdf or the compact rulebook that will come with starter boxes.
Has anyone seen downloadable pdfs for the Crusade Order of Battle and Crusade Unit cards forms from the Leviathan book? Looked on the Community site and online and have not found anything.
Maybe I missed something but those armies are supposed to be combat patrols right? But like, the Necron combat patrol isnt whats listed in the book. Its got a doomscythe and totally different infantry.
The 40k rules of 7th edition were comprised of 3 books, one for rules, one for a army gallery, and one just for lore. That third one was called Dark Millennium. Try finding that one (but related to 7th edition) because I think Dark Millennium is also a pen and paper RPG from the 1990s.
RUclips is still processing. If you would like to watch in 4K give it another 2hrs

These videos are my go to videos for everything Warhammer. Thank you for all the time, effort and money you put into the channel!
You’re welcome, thank you for watching them and for your kind comment

Three Armigers would make a fine Combat Patrol. ;)
@@johnbearross I was thinking 3 Lancers

I'm addicted to special edition books so I went in on a Leviathan box with a friend just so I could get the book. I don't have SM or nids lol.

You are correct. That is a really weird way of them doing this. Including a book within a book that does not add to the total page count.

Would be delighted if you could run a demo game - very curious about the new combat patrol format! Thanks for all your fabulous content!
This looks cool, I’m excited to get mine.
My lil bro picked up his box yesterday at the launch, he's doing blood angels
The remaining 60 pages are the rules. They're numbered differently.

Cannot wait for the review of these models 😅

I want to get " into" WH 40k lore. Is this book a good start? Is there any other " Lore only" books? Thank you in advance.
