I don’t understand people hating on her. She telling us the differences and the features (she was invited by Apple to get the phone). Use your judgement to decide what to do with that information. I’m very happy with my 12 Mini and when I decide to upgrade in a couple more years, I would appreciate a video like this from a creator that I trust

I usually want a certain color but in the end I cover it with a case anyway so it never matters. I don't know why I make myself stress over which color to get every time. 🤣 I have the dark green 13 right now and just got a case that matches the dark green color.
Watching and had the same thoughts about how tech and its’ portability has evolved. Growing up in the 70’s, my class was invited to the University of Waterloo to view these new machines called computers. About the size of my car, you filled in a card that went in one end and it printed your name on the paper at the other. Amazing to a kid. Now I’m here with my old XR (just waiting till the crowds dissipate before venturing to the Apple Store), which even with a slower battery is still more powerful than those massive machines were.
I still use my iPhone 12 Pro Max and honestly will probably wait for the 17th of even the 18th iPhone to upgrade. I just don't need any of the features that came out post 12th iPhone and my battery is still great 😅
I'm very interested to see how you feel about the camera button as time goes on! I am very intrigued by it, but I am also curious to see how I would adapt to this whole new button. Loved this video Caitlin!
I’ll be using my green IPhone 13 till it combusts, but I get y someone who is a content creator needs the best phone out there. I’d definitely have bought the pink phone though .
I gave away my iPhone 13 Pro Max to my brother which gets me a chance to try smaller 16 Pro and see if I like smaller form factor ( 6.3 vs 6.7) coming from bigger size
I appreciate that you need good equipment as a content creator but I don’t like that every time these companies come out with a new model people rush to buy them just to have the latest thing. You admit that it’s not a necessary purchase for the average user but you then said that they are little tiny upgrades with this new phone so I wonder, did you need to upgrade, even as a content creator? It’s obviously none of my business what you choose to buy, but this just comes off as an example of overconsumption, which is a big problem in our society. I’m curious- what do you do with your old phones when you upgrade? Didn’t the iPhone 15 just come out last year?
Apple allowed her to get an iPhone early so that she could review it. Why wouldn’t she? Besides it’s not her job to help you and others with impulse control problems to not buy whatever you’re being influenced to get anymore than another influencer who’s selling temu junk. She’s explaining the different features and talking about how there’s no point in hopping to the new iPhone if you have the 15. Not exactly influencing people to make the jump
Not everyone keeps the old phone. Most trades it in for a newer device if they have the option. But I get what you mean. But not just iPhone but other companies also release new phones every year
Upgrading from 15 pro to 16 pro is probably the most stupid thing you can do, show consumerism on another level. There is barely any upgrade your basically throwing 500 dollars down the toilet.

I never particularly care about the phone colour as I alway put a super protective case and other than the camera panel you very see any of it.
Not worth it if you have the 13,14 or 15

You can trade in your old IPhone and it takes money off the purchase of your new iPhone.
