Nice video! If I want to have all my personal and important files on my NAS and not on my PC, how would I best protect those files in case my PC gets compromised by malware? Say I have a trojan on my PC, whats the best practice to essentially firewall access between my PC and the NAS? Im thinking something like encrypted drives with password or maybe 2FA?
@@Jonteponte71 ok thank you. can i ask why it had not updated to this before? i have it set to automatically update. but its on 1.2.5-8227 and says its up-to-date
@CrazyAngelfire I have the same router as you do. Like @Jonteponte71 mentioned you'll need to upgrade to SRM 1.3. I can't remember when I did the upgrade, but I know it was a manual update to get to SRM 1.3.
Hi, network center wi-fi connect, safe access. And also your dsm looks different. Where to get this apk? and how to change dsm visibility? thank you

can i ask which router you have? i have the RT2600ac and wondering about the network segmintation part. i cant "add" networks
I believe you have to upgrade to SRM 1.3 to get that feature. I don't think that happens automatically. You have to do it manually.

@@CrazyAngelfire I don't know why they do it. It's the same with DSM for me. I only get the updates for 7.1 while 7.2 has been out for over a year...
