It’s hard to feed berries to Pokémon in gyms when I can’t see my list of Pokémon in gyms under the today tab.

You can type “Defenders” into your Pokémon storage to see all Pokémon currently in gyms

You can write "defender" in your pokemon storage to find all pokemon in gyms.
its a glitch after the new update go to storage and type defender to get all the pokemon in gyms
Or go to the gym badges and sort by defended. All gyms with pokes in them will appear

Gonna leave this here for me:
1) Feed Buddy Fully
2) Snapshot
3) Play with buddy
4) Battle
Start a route.
Set a timer for 30 mins.
Finish the route and walk 2 km within those thirty minutes.
Once the timer ends, rinse and repeat.
Never got a Poffin from a Raid. But I get about 2 a day just from AR scans on my way to work and walking around the Neighborhood. On Grind days sometimes even up to 8 or more a day just from AR scans.
For the raid, I always have my buddy in the last spot, it's never been a problem, always get credit.

I feel POGO has taken over my life enough as it is. It’s so much easier to just scan a pokestop that rewards a poffin which will last for hours.

This can be fine passively whilst doing other stuff. Scanning a stop requires going to find one. I can get my buddy excited from bed every night.

Unless Niantic doesn't like your scans and they ban you from getting AR tasks. Happened to me and some friends. Don't care anymore, I've learned you don't need their puny reward poffins! :)

I wonder how the Pokemon Go Plus + hearts factor in? You can set your collection time to correspond to when you start your daily grind.

i'd love the buddy system (more) if your buddies are level 51 (get the cp boost) WITHOUT needing to have them as your current buddy
Yeah it kind of defeats the purpose of getting beat buddy with more than 1 mon
For raid battles your buddy does not have to be in slot #1 btw. Also maybe people don’t want to spend the time doing this, but I usually just do all the scan for poffin tasks because they take 30 seconds to complete
How does a person scan for poffin tasks?
(And yeah, the big park near me with lots of Stops *does* often have poffin tasks, but sometimes they are by playground sets with children present, and I don’t feel comfortable getting out and filming in a circle around the area, looking potentially like a weirdo… Would’ve been easier when my kid was little and played on that stuff, but as it is, she’s about to be in college, so it’s just me, child-free, walking up to a playground and starting to film. I’ll pass on those lol)

got a shundo Houndour, but the 3 points for 2 km explain why after forgetting to close my phone before I went to sleep, it was super happy when i woke up because it drift around so much in my appartment.
do the routes have cooldowns or can you get the buddy interactions for the 2 routes within 30 minutes?
I put in my route like a month ago they are still in review. Where I live there not much going on. So I was excited for this . Route are hard find where I am

I got my Pokémon to Best Buddy in 10 days!
How? It takes 300 hearts that would mean you're getting 30 a day last I checked that isn't possible
Hey Billy ------i dk if i missed a update? why are some kartana raids giving mega energy. not every raod but have noticed several times 5blastoies. is it always Blastoies or random? it it not all t5-raids?
i have found the same thing. just blastoise here too. both from celesteela and kartana. about 5 drops of 5 energy.
I appreciate the effort you put into your content. I earned my buddy badge earlier this year and I find it to not be worth it at all. The grind is too much and the reward is way too little. I have 200 mons with badges, though.
no its not, 2 gives berries, 3 gives worthless survivor, and nax........1 extra level...it should give extra puffin.rare candy....., or something mote.........then doing that 200x should say congrats.......something......its a lot I'm not maxef on that badge yet.....just too much

Start a buddy before 9 pm, it is five buddy hearts to feed play and battle. Then switch if you need I got three buddies going this way.
Re ~ Zygarde cells and incense ~
I've achieved level 2 Zygarde & have 26 more cells. I average about 3 cells for 5 routes.
For me, visibility and patience are everything.
More than once a cell was partially concealed by a pokemon. Other times I've paused to catch something and as I finish the catch process and the map appears, I catch a parting glimpse of a cell disappearing.
I find the cell can appear anywhere within the max visibility circle while walking so i set my view to max bird's eye view.
Now, regarding the 'trick' to "guarantee a cell" (closing the app and restarting it) I've tried it 16 times verbatim and never had a cell appear.
I can concur with the “trick” not doing anything ive only done a handful of routes but ive found like 5 cells😭😂🤷♂️
dude the restarting the app at the end is working wonders for me. (allthough i got a quite small sample size)
My routine for buddy is
1. Golden Berry feed.
2. Switch to different
3. Switch back to original buddy.
4. Gold feed, pet, snap shot (4 hearts so far and 3 points)
5. Battle Gym, rocket grunt, rocket leader, trainer (either challenge friend or gbl), raid, and team leader (for 7 hearts and 9 points total).
6. Short route( 10 points).
7. 30 minute timer. And repeat
Once the "hour" is done you should be excited and by the time you fed you buddy you should get the 4 of 6 hearts in that and just need to wait one hour to max heart. Should be able to max hearts in about 2 hours instead of 3 hours if everything works and only need 6km instead of 8 or even 10.
Also the gifts has a 30 minute cooldown from my experience so calculate that in your time as well.
how do you get so many points from batteling? are there different categories with 3 available points in each?
@@bjornrisberg9404 each battle is unique thats why. Ypu can earn 3/6 hearts but the points are different
If you Switch Out the Pokemon the Progress goes to 0, the Rest is fine though✌️
Perfect timing I'm trying to get my Charizard as best buddy
Interact with it for 2 hours so every half hour play with it,battle it or picture but you can do all 3 and the feed it when time and open up the rest easy the route is just like literally one extra so not necessary if you just want to lv it up and get candy faster I'm against routes

Do the hearts from the poke ball plus+ count to the points
For raids your buddy can be in any spot but it needs to be in the group that finishes the raid. If you relobby your buddy needs to be in that second group
or u can do the scanning tasks for poffins?

As much as I appreciate this speedy method to get a buddy excited, it doesn't surpass the effectiveness of seeking out an AR mapping task for a poffin
I don’t get Poffin tasks anymore. Not for at least 9 months 😢. None.
Amazing content. I noticed as level 43, I can now create routes. Probably available since the last update.

Top bad, that i cant follow routes. I have to force close the game. If I try to click on a route
Walking 2km prior to getting the 2 heart bonus sounds pretty inefficient IMO.
You can do it with 2 acc in only 2 rounds if you do it prior to 12 o'clock while taking advantage of both rocket ballons (only applies if you don't want to loose some GBL points).
There’s no cooldown on battling the trainers. You can get 3 hearts in like 30 seconds. Also I haven’t seen a shadow gible yet
Or you can do AR mapping tasks to get a poffin

The route times likely are based on the time it took to make the route, but the original route creation had the game crashing every 3 minutes, which required you restart your game and wait or walk to where the game stopped recording. It added a lot of time that walkers don't actually need.

Man I use to only get on average 10-15 hearts on my buddy daily and never did the excited method. I only have like 15 best buddies. I tried it with my shiny cowboy hat Snorlax and I have 250 hearts in 10 days which is insane. 2-2 more days and I have it best buddy

I get to scan a Pokestop = free Pufin all the time? why would I ever do this thing? it's like sitting in a boat that starts sinking and instead of using the bucket next to you to pour water out you use your tea spoon. why would anyone do that? having 250 best buddies falls under the "ignore this dumb medal" anyway!
He forgot that if you feed berries to Pokemon in gyms very occasionally it'll give a candy of the Pokemon you fed, so that's another plus for feeding gym Pokémon

130 hearts per day without all this walking is fast enough for me. You feed once, play once, snapshot once and do 3 battles on 21 different Pokémon per day which gets you to 126 and you can get it easily to 130 per day feeding a couple of them twice and getting a couple souvenirs daily. Level them up in groups like this is the most efficient way with no poffins or walking. You’ll get to 200 best buddies in 461 days just doing that

Taking a snapshot every 15 minutes will reset the cooldown effectively keeping your buddy excited so he doesnt quit being excited. You can also do all the battles with your buddy getting them excited even faster
Doesn’t the battle have cool downs? I know different types of battles count but AFAIA you can’t do 3 trainer battles and have it still count (unless they’ve changed it)
@@himynameis3102 They do have cooldowns but you can do 5 battles at once. Raids, PvP friend battle or GBL, Team leader battles, Gym battle and Team Go rocket battle. Doing all 5 of these will count and help get them excited faster
