That's what I know about the NEW EXCITED BUDDY FAST METHOD: - you only need 28 emotion points to get a buddy excited - changing buddy, feeding, playing, taking a snapshot, visiting a new place and battling (team leader, gym, grunt, boss, raid, other player EVERY SINGLE BATTLE LISTED WILL GIVE YOU EP SEPARATELY) will give you 2 EP - opening a gift, getting a souvenir, walking and finding a new place will give you 4 EP (so not 6) + every 25 min of NO interaction, will make you lose 1 EP + every additional 10 min of NO interaction, will make you lose another EP PS: You helped me massive with this timer trick XD

7:40 I've been giving a berry without going to the max every time. I think as long as the pokemon is adventuring with you, you're good to not fill it (fill it fully the first time). You'll miss out on the heart though. I could be wrong and missing out. I'll experiment with making sure I fill it all the way next time to see if I'm doing it wrong. I typically just go with 4 steps. Feed, pet, picture, set timer, battle trainer. I typically set the timer right before I battle because the battle takes about a minute and if I follow that pattern, i'll always start the feed a little after the half hour. It saves me the minute of battling time. I mean, it's just a minute so whatever. Thanks for the video!

When I was grinding to best buddy mewtwo, I think I got him excited in one hour or less by walking, stopping to take pictures, and battling all the grunts I found
Not sure if this is still the case, but you used to reset the 30 minute timer every 2km you walked with your buddy, I used to get my buddy excited in about an hour 15 min pre patch, so if this is still in effect you MIGHT be able to get your buddy excited in 30 minutes
Poffins are so easy to grind tho. Gym scans can get you them very often, if not just delete the scan task and roll for a new one. Gyms will almost always give you a scan task and pokestops around the gym COULD give you a scan task.
I run each morning with my pokeball plus running and go about 2-5 miles(4 -7 KM). dude, I've found You can get your buddy excited in like 25 mins if you're movin like I am on my run, berrying, snap a pic, pets, and 6 or so gym battles.
hey..i had a question,i have a hundo garchomp which will take 100k stardust to max out,a shundo garchomp which will take 220k stardust to max and a 93IV luck shiny garchomp which will take 55k to max.I have only 400k stardust,which one should i max?pls help
ATTENTION. This is no longer doable since there is an issu with the buddy system. The "hungry" bar will not always go up after a barry is fed and will therefor no longer be able to become excited if not fed. LMK if this has happened for ANYONE else if is just me. I have now tried this in two days with different pokémosn w/oput result

One thing you missed: Swapping your new buddy in for the first time in the day apparently gives them emotion points.
