6:02 That is GORGEOUS! Only thing I’d add to that would be polished aluminum wheels all the way around. SCI steering wheel, clean interior, painted cab body and frame, and a DT530E to boot. It doesn’t get much better than that! Now I kinda wish I knew who bought it so I could see it working

I have driven about everything that had a wheel for steering and some that were a joystick. Mack was some of the best put together yet hardest ones to work on. I got to where I hated to even see one on the lot, I did my share of mechanicing... the worst I ever drove was off highway macks, they had a six cylinder engine with a maximum rpm of 1800 and just to put your foot into the metal all day hauling logs, off highway loads, and of course their eight speed transmissions. More than one time had to be towed up any hills and helped out of the landings where we loaded at. I quit every day and would get up and try to work... I was so miserable... I made it my life after that stint to never drive another one. I owned a fleet of KW's and some Pete's.... well ten to high teens of trucks.. for a poor boy, that kept me busy... for the life of me can't remember that name of that engine but know it was not a popular engine. Oddly tho, my first purchase was when I was sixteen bought my first big rig, a B51 mack, a classic truck and would give eye teeth to have again... it made me more money for dollar invested than any other truck I have owned. I got drafted at seventeen and just a few months for hauling way oversized loads, made that courthouse upset with my tickets and it was sign here or go to jail... I went to nam for three tours an was ready for going to jail instead of service before through. I still have the scar's to prove it

I wonder if it would be a good idea to look over a truck that you really want but run away from it in a way that would make other people think it's not a good truck so they don't buy it and you turn around and come back and buy it
Great video, again !!! I too, wish Mack could’ve would’ve stayed American owned. Hate to see the Bulldog getting pimped out to foreign entities, along with their ideas or lack thereof. Such as we see currently with their foreign money-masters . Whew, glad I got that off my chest.
Agree. I feel the same about International trucks. Both companies could build you a truck silly from components that built entirely themselves. Both were leaders in diesel engines. Now they are shadows of their former selves.
