This card game looks legit fun. I hope they can sponsor you to do a video explaining how to play the game, wink wink 😊
@@AB0BA_69 thatd be some pretty cool content
It looks amazing tbh
a shared-deck fantasy card game sounds really fun, would like to see you play it on stream so we can see
Quest Mage: I want infinite turns.
Wheel Warlock: The best I can give you is 5.
Sadly today learnt against mage, that Wheel of death doesn't tick when quest mage uses time warp :( Got infinitied.
4 actually because the countdown starts on your turn
Killing someone on turn 5 with the wheel is definitely not something the developers saw coming.
Wild is a shit show
everyone and their mothers said wheel would be a meme card. the dog has teeth.
to think you would be able to wheel of death on turn 1 and there by win on turn 3 if they hadnt nerfed bloodbloom 2-3 years ago is kinda wild to me
What do you mean, card literally says "In 5 turns, destroy the enemy hero". It is turn 5? Enemy hero is destroyed.
@@ezydezzy9963 its counts every turn also your opponents
Ive watched too much kripp, I was thinking that a golden enchanter would make it tick three times... XD
I his arena videos :(

That wheel of death really likes to be drawn
you know when someone pointed out that wheel and drakkari had this interaction I thought that maybe wheel of death could've a small niche in wild
oh boy I was way off
That furnace fuel interaction is so silly.
Hearthstone is silly.
Which one?
@@victinity Furnace fuel gets destroyed by the wheel, and then somehow draws cards from the deck instead of fatigue?
@@solidman8360 It's probably coded to destroy each card sequentially in your deck. The animation happens instantly for the players, but behind the scenes it stops at a Furnace Fuel, destroys it, draws 2 cards, and THEN continues destroying the deck. If it finds the other Furnace Fuel, the same thing happens there.
The only way Furnace Fuel working that way makes sense to me is if the deck is destroyed in draw order, which means there is an unlikely circumstance in which you draw two cards and take two fatigue ticks. (But not four, unfortunately - in the even rarer scenario where both furnace fuels are at the bottom of the deck, the first one will draw the second and then give you only one fatigue.)
There aren't many mechanics that interrupt other events, but when they do, the other event isn't considered as having happened yet.
The best example is having a Lifesteal weapon while at very low life. Your character's HP DOES go negative, which would normally prevent them from gaining any more life (like an AoE killing both your hero and a Mistress of Mixtures doesn't somehow save you), but lifesteal happens before the game resolves damage, so before it checks whether your hero is dead or not.
In the Furnace example, the draw effect happens mid-mechanic - the effect that destroys them hasn't fully happened, much like your hero taking damage above - so you can still draw them, and when they change zones, the game no longer looks for them (so it doesn't destroy them once they reach your hand even though they were queued for destruction a second ago)
@@Xgya2000 I don't think those examples line up. Attacking with a lifesteal weapon shows that the attacking event is not interrupted by dying - all the weapon's properties are processed first, then whatever effects it had on the rest of the board. That would be consistent with destroying the deck (assuming they're all destroyed at once) and then checking any cards that do something when destroyed.
@@noatrope It's not that the event is interrupted by dying - it's that dying isn't an event, but a state check.
Game doesn't do state checks unless all its events are done processing.
Dying/being destroyed is a state check. Deathrattles are an event.
So deathrattles can't save you after the state's been checked and you're already dead.
Meanwhile, attacking with a lifesteal weapon doesn't kill your hero because there's no state check while the attack (event) happens, only after it. And after it, you're fine. Your hero never died, dying/being destroyed is a state-based action, not an event.
All the cards in your deck "died". While they were dying (BEFORE any state-based action would work), an event happened, which made you draw cards. You draw cards.
You can get a minion that was by all other means "dead" back to hand, or evolved. (easiest way to check this is to attack a Fire Trap with Boggspine Knuckles with a bunch of 2-health Totems on board. The totems appear to "die", and then they evolve and show up undamaged)
Because it's not dead until state-based actions resolve, and they can't while an event is happening.
The enchanter's interaction is super interesting, I didn't even know you could do that
It's just bad coding by the devs tbh, no forethought at all in their little minds 😅
Drakkari used to take two turns out of the objective spells at first but was later patched. I really hope they patch this one soon as well
Unfortunately this probably won't be patched unless they change when the counter procs because counter ticks that proc at end of turn are supposed to interact with Drakkari and the wording does not make that clear.
Just change it to start of enemys turn, the card that draws a card at end and start of turns shows they are different phases
@@daveyreetz6493 yeah I've suggested that in a few other discussion threads while tiredly explaining to everyone that as long as the counter ticks down at end of turn, this interaction is intentional. It could even be at the start of your turn, since you're always just passing the entire last turn anyway, nothing you do matters and your opponent explodes when you hit end turn no matter what
Love it! I've been playing a version of this for a few days and it feels REALLY bad when you turn 4 Wheel...... bad for the opponent, that is
It’s so cool seeing the many different takes on this deck
They really should revert bloodbloom to 2 mana and just make it only work for spells that cost 5 or less at this point
The Wheel of Death destroy animation has a bit that sorta sounds like that pufferfish that got carrots fed to it
I'm surprised they haven't removed Bloodbloom from the game at this point. It's the main enabler for so much dumb shit.
First Darkest Hour, now this. Probably something else I forgot as well.
Easy, just make it 1 mana "Your next spell that costs (5) or less Mana, costs health this turn instead". Warlock has no great spells to cheat with this restriction, so it's fine.
Bloodbloom has proven itself as a problem card that should be removed; it’s always the mana manipulation cards that cause big problems.
The HS team seems to hate implementing full bans, though, so we might just see a piecemeal nerf where they change interactions like Drakkari and Furnace Fuel, make Bloodbloom no longer Shadow, etc. to reduce consistency to the point that the deck isn’t as crazy.
It was used with Cataclysm in older mechathun combos
@@KrivitskyMno great spells to cheat… yet!
@@KrivitskyMso essentially remove the card from the game as @ajkcool was suggesting lol
I really like that you now play wild and standard, your self made abominations are always fun to watch 🤙🏻
it's not "sefmade" lol. it's a top tier deck since day 1 of expantion release. The wild is flooded with wheel warclocks. He just doesn't show mirror matches
I've been playing this with no extra shadow spells and double Sketch Artist, but this list looks way better lol. I've gotta try it.
Dane knows we are starving for a flavorful wild deck and cooked this up for us, love the content!
you are a mad genius and an amazing communicator, keep it up mister Dane
.... This deck is so degenerate. I completely agree with the rogue on this one
So additional the end turn tick also works with the Bonelord to make you dead faster??
Yeah.
Mark's done some combos where he accidentally killed himself because of this interaction.
@@tarille1043 lmao that doesn't seem intentional, turn counter shouldn't be categorized as end-turn effect
@@AlfiansyahHendryagreed, they have to change their coding
That was an insane set of games.
i understand how wheel makes funny turn kill with drakari, but have you considered styling on the enemy with cthun + valanyr? ive heard its really really strong
“is he even there?” HAHAHAHA
the most interactive deck in wild:
Crazy powerful. Ah good old hearthstone
Seen this deck enough that it's a big dilemma for my mulligan when I run Even DK. Do I keep Helya for Wheelock, or is it going to be punished because it's questline? Also Dane, have you tried Mecha'thun Rogue but with the toyboat pirate package? Seems pretty good.
Master level of trolling!

POG he finally got wheel
Counters quest mage you say? Let me craft this now
I dont understand how can you draw 4 cards after cast blood + wheel (in game 2)?
Furnace Fuel draws 2 cards when it's destroyed
Cat: this deck is disgusting *vomits*
How did he draw cards at 8:07?
Furnace fuel
Surely they will change this interaction
First mechathun, now this.
"all you have to do....wheelistically"
I've been a round long enough to know that's not wheelie possible
First matchup: mirror
Second: Murloc Shaman.
...
Blizz will probably nerf wheel of death from end of turn to 'start on your turn' and then the enchanter won't work or they just ban wheel from wild.
Death Knight absolutely shits on this deck. Any type of aggro has a chance to beat this, but Plague DK works best. I don't think this deck is that powerful.
what kind of spaghetti code lets furnace fuel work with wheel?
The card got destroyed?
@@rawoo9385 You should be drawing fatigue cards.
@@rawoo9385 OK but it draws from your deck. So it gets destroyed first, draws and then the rest of the deck is destroyed? Like you should fatigue since: Deck is destroyed -> furnace fuel is destroyed -> you draw cards but deck is empty
@@rawoo9385yes but it's supposed to destroy your ENTIRE deck so there must be something off about how Wheel actually works where it checks for things like Furnace first before destroying your whole deck. If you took it just at face value you would assume Wheel would destroy your whole deck then each Furnace would cause you to go into fatigue twice.
@@BigChimpEnergymost likely "Destroy the deck" means .pop until the length of the "Deck" array is length 0. If they just replaced it with an empty array it wouldn't trigger Destroy effect so that's a tough cookie to keep everything working as Intended and not create spaghetti code.
Oh man this card is already miserable to play against in Standard, I'm glad I'm currently off Wild right now ahahaha
Definitely intended 😄
Man that's surreal. I feel like the Enchanter interaction can't be intended, or at least can't stay in the game for very long if this deck picks up? Or maybe it's just a "it's wild lmao good luck, we're not dealing with it" situation
If opponent has Malganis, can he overcome this wheel of death?
no
As always hearthstone fun and interactive.
Devilish!
Can someone explain me what happens at 7:55? He coins out Bloodbloom into Wheel of Death... And he draws 4 cards? Why?
EDIT: Aaah, it's because of the Furnace Fuels

06:53 Rogue
08:22 Warrior
11:32 Hunter
14:29 shaMan
Wheelie good.
Ha.
How come you are drawing cards when wheel is played???
This is absolutely disgusting
...but against Quest Mage I'll allow it.
The most dumbest interraction in HS. Well, at least in top 3. Does it work with that Lich guy as well?
Yes. Mark had killed himself with that interaction.
Awesome! Love the content!
Zeph should be really good in this deck, right?
i think this is best version due to furnace fuel
Yep that's getting banned
My gosh Dane, you put so much effort into your sponsor spots to make them entertaining. I sure hope they're paying you per-costume-change.
And if the Wheel gets nerfed to 10 Mana this deck won't be affected cause you play it with Health anyway.
Only ran into this once with rommath quest mage but still got the win off of fatigue through generated research project rewind.
Not even your wheel escapes my rommath time prison.
The harp seems bugged. Why would it not work with the bloodbloom?
I guess paying life is different than damage?
It's not bugged. This was an explicit mechanics change. There is a difference between taking damage and paying health.
Questline Warlock abused the shit out of that, so they changed it
"Pay with life" effects were mechanically changed to no longer count as damage.
This was done because of interactions such as Immune which made them free to cast or Armour allowing Druids to do stupid things because of generating tons of armour which would take the cost.
It also was a way to make Bloodbloom and Stealer of Souls less stupid with Demon Seed.
Nerf incoming 😂
Why do they keep printing these cards that make any control deck an autoloss when queueing into this...
Card itself isn't an issue. Try to play it on turn 8 and skip a turn? Good luck.
Issue is the package that enables it. Drakkari and Bloomspawn make the setback negligible.
To be fair "control" decks run disrupt/hostage/time warp shit that I can't even bother with because game is not playable. I rather play this or run people down with aggro decks
I wouldn't be surprised if Wheel was banned in Wild after seeing this. Pure filth.
not sure if it's mentioned later in the video but shouldn't felstring harp also negate bloodbloom damage?
It might be a bit of nuance between "taking damage" and "spending hp"
same with malganis, it doesn't prevent damage from bloodbloom
how are you drawing cards after using wheel of death wtf
The pain of dark forces!
More dirty tricks!
No more obvious benefits!
Eat up the meta with your creativity! 😅
WANNA SEE THE VOODOO I DO?
~Oh no please no...
The Furnace Fuel interaction is so weird, you destroyed your deck enough to draw cards from it but you didn't destroy it enough to draw just fatigue instead of real cards from said Furnace Fuel
You not be able to draw cards when deleting your whole deck lol that’s a bugged interaction
Aha! A zero brain deck, where you can climb the ladder and there is no real answer to it other t han rush going face. The 2000 armored druid are shivering in their nerfed graves.
Seems like another warlock card getting banned for now in wild
They just nerfed this 😅
NEVER WORKED
I see we're back to Rogue and Warlock taking turns breaking Wild. I no longer feel any guilt for ever playing Even Shaman. It's annoying and braindead but at least it's just the only midrange deck in Hearthstone rather than this.
Went 2-13 with this deck. Getting killed on turn 4-6 by most wild decks. Not sure WTF you're talking about. Deck is EXTREMELY inconsistent and rarely wins.
The deck doesnt work like on a video tho, i played 10 games with it and never had wheel on 3 or 4, best case scenario on 6. Why am I so unlucky?
Upd. Finally did it 12th game with Phanottem, opponent insta-conceded 🤪

It can be fun
@@iuricunhamurakami8261 in terms of wins this deck is concistent, it has like >80% winrate, im just talking about landing wheel on 4, seems it doesnt happens as often as i want :)
Yeah that’s pretty degenerate.
I also don’t get why furnace draws you cards. If IT is destroyed, surely all the other cards should already have been destroyed and you should take 4 fatigue draws instead.
Maybe a fix is to add that you can’t heal after playing wheel ;)
Cards in the deck are destroyed in order they are placed. As it destroys each card, it reaches Furnace and triggers its effect.
So you could potentially have Furnace at the bottom and have it draw two Fatigues.
Wheel of death is really cool but at the same time just a really bad idea from a development standpoint imo

Errrr this deck is stupid. I just went 22-0 with it in bottom rank wild. Easily beat 4 or 5 plague DKs too. No way Blizzard don't do something about this, I'd predict a total Wheel ban in wild until they rework it.
Thanks Dane!
