Hi my brother. I am presently repairing a 17 ft mako. The stringers are rotting and there are dry spots in the Woven roving on the floor. I know I have to repair those, but the side of the boat songs a bit hollow. The side are originally done with woven roving too. I am wondering if the hollow song in the sides need to be strengthen as well? Please let me know your thoughts.

that exactly how i started lol thanks! Im finishing it up hopefully in the next 3-4 months and ill make a video breaking down the costs... depending how far you take the rebuild it can range from 5k -10k in material

hey i have a Q, can we pain over a super old cracked gelcoat after a little bit of sanding?? or should just sand the whole boat to the fiberglass?
