I find the lack of physics for the skeletons amusing. There’s no way a lot of these skeletons would have stayed in the position they died in, but it’s fun to try to piece it together
You are not alone. Researching this vid I found tons of conversations of this nature. But if we can suspend our belief for mutants I guess it’s fine lol.
Skeletons might still be there, but corpses, all wooden structures, most metal structures, would all be gone. What's left would be overgrown and nearly unrecognizable. Wouldn't make for much of a game though.
My theory about how the prewar skeletons, structures, ect are still somewhat intact/functional is two parts. The technology in that universe is designed to handle radiation given it was a cornerstone to their society and it might not be on the same level as ours in some ways but it's likely more durable. The radiation was intense enough that most materials are too toxic to decompose like it should've in the 200 years including biological materials.
@@kahrnivor remember, this is all based on 50's tropes. up to this point, the ONLY nuclear devistation people would have seen then was the aftermath of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and the nevada tests. these also use a good deal of 50's sci-fi tropes, as this universe was stuck in it.
The two skeletons on the safe i think it was a cheating interdent because there a female skeleton near by in the same building could explain why nakedness
While I will agree NOT every teddy bear in fallout 4 represents a child's skeleton, I would argue that quite a few could be. Sure you could say it's just the kids toy but there are times where there is another toy or two as well as the bear
Interesting video. Thanks. In fallout 3 is there still the trader/armour bug that gets you full item health armour? I’ve never seen anyone talk about it
@ I haven’t played in a while. But with a trader, you need them to have 2 sets of the same armour buy the most damaged and (I think you need to finish the sale) when it’s in your inventory it will be fully repaired. You can sell it back to them at full reoair cost but it will return to its original repair state.
So I absolutely love your channel but I’m wondering, why don’t you guys mention the official names for the unmarked locations that have one? Game of Thrones for example is the name of the two skeletons on the toilets.
While these ones make up a minority of the skellies we see in game; If I recall correctly, there's the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus either somewhere in the water of Fallout 4, or it's in the sands of New Vegas/among the ruins of the Captial Wasteland. I don't know where, because I have Thalassophobia and prefer to NOT go running around the bottoms of the Irradiated oceans.

I like to think a Scavenger's kid left his favorite teddy bear with shades to keep him company since they felt sad?
The most wild thing is that these skelebros are still around after 200 years of decomposition in wet, radioactive and infested environments.

@@kahrnivorit could, they would just have to get more creative with what to explore in the environment.
I prefer how it is now though.

My favorite ones are the ones with booze in their hand/jaw or with the teddy bears nearby that look like they somehow killed the human 😅
For those 2 hillbillies, the game they were playing was Battleships. The guns weren't for the duel, they're carrying because they're good ol boys
14:28 YOU CANT KILL ME IM SUCTION CUP MAN!

@@mineandforever2877 I didn't think of that.
I think what happened to the bus was that when the bomb went off the driver either swerved or the bus got knocked by the blast
I have an alternate possibility for the skeletons at 5:47 ... In the same location not too far away there is a skeleton in a dress.
Titanic was referenced twice. In Fallout Tactics they did it too, but better. There's also a drawing of her, and you can loot her necklace.
The X's with the skeletons in the Fenn sewers are meant to represent how many bodies the killer used
I’ve been subscribed and I gave this video a like because you make such great content!!! Keep up the great work :)
Appreciate you Matt
Indiana Jones represents! 🤠
You missed the family killed by wild dogs whilst defending their baby in Fallout 76.

Thanks! Honestly I have no idea and I’ve played Fallout 3 since release. Lol

In fairness to the Phantom, he was absolutely right, at least for the most part. Then again, he wasn't exactly healthy, either.
Imagine skeleton enemies. I'll save that there
cheers
👍

We have videos for all the unmarked locations in every Fallout. I think for this one I was just focused on the stories. Thanks for watching though!
What else are around the skeletons that make you think it's a reference to Star wars?
It's a WW things if I'm not mistaken
I think the "x" is indicating how many bodies are there.
If i remember correctly
Yeah I figured out it was the killer marking his victims for the detective when I started editing. Pretty cool.
@ConstellationsGaming it is! Great detail to show the depravity of the guy. Making sure the detective knows how many he got.

The dinosaur is in the water off the coast of Point Lookout in Fallout 3 so close but not quite!
Haha I did a video on that one called Fallout myths. It was really cool.
@ Dang, And I thought it was FO4. Would've been cool if we got something like that though, like a giant Ammonite shell or something.
I wish I can but I got a 76 and 4
