- Ted Vigil is the real deal. He also does a very authentic John Denver tribute.
We were waiting for the same plane out of Minneapolis-St. Paul and he agreed to let me tape him rehearsing in the airport.
It's been 14 years (as I revise this listing) since we met, and, lately this video has been getting LOTS of international attention. I'm happy for that. True talent deserves an audience.

His singing sounds maybe close on this song but JD sings hundreds of songs so comparing him accurately would be a task.

I think everybody is different. People see and hear things differently. I notice a number of commenters on this thread feels the same, as far as this man favoring Denver and sounding like him, and I can't say they are wrong because that is what I see and hear too - that this guy looks and sounds like Denver. And there's nothing wrong with that. Both are handsome men. And both have solid voices and sound very good with notable performances. Kudos to them both: one in life, and the other in death. Blessings. 😊
OMG!!! I am a little over 60, a fan, my first concert was JD and it was ...intelligent songs. He is my hero. I took up guitar because of him. What an outlet!!! Yoga did not work for me. I saw him up close and that is spot on, fabulous cheekbones and jaw. This actually makes the public trust you even if you are trying to sell ECOLOGY

I'll be the dissenter, and I don't want to hurt this person's feelings. I think it is strange to try this hard to take on the persona of another person. To go to that extent, like Michael Jackson or Elvis impersonators. Crosses over into creepy. And by the way, while his voice is fine, people need to stop saying that he sounds "just like John Denver". No, he does not. Enjoy the gifts God gives other people, fine. But be yourself, everyone.
