If you want to game in chronological order regarding the story progression, especially regarding the Modern Day story, you need to play the game in release order.
It’d be cool to revisit some of the historical periods we’ve already seen in Assassin’s Creed but from a totally fresh perspective. Seeing the same era from another angle could really add more depth to the story.

Playing unity for the first time on gfn. Damn what a great game. I just heard about the troublesome start. No bugs for me, just pure fun. Best ac I’ve played so far.
Yeah, it had a rough start upon release but after all the bug fixing, it's back to being one of the best AC games
After Shadows, an Assassin's Creed set in Russia/USA during the cold war as a KBG Spy would be fire.
They already confirmed the next one will be in Germany during the Witch Hunts.
@m.r4841 That's gonna actually be fire, is the MC gonna be a witch or a hunter?
@@akarin_ig We don’t know yet. Other than the setting we don’t know anything. Shadows hasn’t even been released yet. We just had a teaser trailer. It’s called Codename Hexe. Hexe is German for Witch. It looks really dark and mature which is good.
@@m.r4841 I hope Ubisoft can repair itself with future AC/FC games, AC is such a good franchise, we just need Ubisoft to get the systems, mechanics and bugs right.
@@akarin_ig I agree
Even if i am Greek, i love Unity!
Odyssey is my fav of them all
They need to make AC Babylon Sumerians time and urk time more older then Egypt and Greek
I doubt I’m the only one wanting this but I’d really like to see an Assassin’s Creed game where the animus is able to recreate memories of ancestors from the modern era so we can have sort of a modern era themed game
Like a Vietnamese assassin during the war? Or like today modern? I think that would just become hitman with parkour
The og days 😢
Lot of people hate the direction it went, but I love all AC games. I think they put a lot of effort in developing them.
