I don't know why anyone even with a ton of money would submit themselves to this torture. I did a 2zz swap and still had a few issues and headaches as I tried to do a budget build . The first mistake. I don't ever want another project car again. If you're married and got kids stay away . Toyota life for me is good enough. I still got my spyder btw but honestly I am not arsed about it breaking anymore and just use all oem parts and it's surprisingly holding up fine. Hope you come right . Watching these videos sure make me feel better I drive an accord , a corolla and a spyder I don't GAF about anymore.
You are so realistic, you show mechanical problems as you live it. You show us the truth! Thank you !
Thank you so much for showcasing this part of project cars.

The best enthusiast car is the one you can actually drive.
Bless you for keeping on. Snapping 2 out of 3 bolts though....I'd never let you live it down. Keep on going!
I’m pretty sure I’m up to like 5 and I do not live it down
It's nice to have friends to do mecanical stuff. Nice video :)
I sure hope you'll find the issue
Removing engine for gasket replacement... those rear-mid engined cars are tough to work on
Clean build man, can't say I'm not jealous 😩
I'm watching!
Thank you
Same saga here
I need that screw for the coolant port I have a screw hammered in mine😅
Should have used some UV dye to locate the leak.
Interesting, never even considered that.
@@IGDesigns worked well on my K20. Timing chain access cover was leaking towards the center of the oil pan. Never would have found it otherwise.
Very cool. Thank you
how does that work?
@@MaybeKian The dye mixes with the oil and when you shine the UV light it glows. Then you can follow the path the leak took to find the source.
