Just noticed something, the grunting when the wrestlers get hit in this pinball game are the exact same sound effects used in WWF Royal Rumble on SNES.
I also like how Fuji is drawn as he appeared in the graphic for the time this game came out (early 1994). Fuji appears in his "Oddjob" outfit (tuxedo and bowler hat) in the drawing on the top left of the playing field, a look that he ditched in late 1992. It's also kind of like how Crush is drawn as his babyface Hawaiian mode on the playing field, but in his heel Hawaiian persona (after he turned on Macho Man in 1993) in the graphic above.
My favorite pinball machine of all times! Quite fun to play: Very balanced - not too hard, not too easy - weird but fun missions to play! Never got boring even after years!
Did you have any audio issues when trying to set this table up. I use the 1.03 rom but it only has the sound of the flippers no voices or music. I tried to switch to the 1.06 ROM which has sound but immediately kicks me out after the "it's time for the WWF Royal rumble" is said.
Hi just wondering if you have to repair your pinball machines or if they break very often. Thinking of picking up a Royal Rumble but not sure of the maintenance involved.
You have to be aware that these machines (if not modified) are 30 years old so will need maintenance. Once sorted out they are fairly bullet proof. I have 4 Data East machines that haven't missed a beat for 5 years +
The only thing that could have made this game better is if it had a real bell that rang! LOL I love Data Easts, be it the obnoxious call-outs, cheezy themes or less refinement compared to others of their time. What the games lacked in "polish" they made up in spunk and were damn fun to play. LW3 still my favorite.
Looks like a good game. Your probably already aware of this but Stern just put out a new wrestling themed game. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on it compared to this one.

Data East was contracted by Sega to make these machines so that makes perfect sense!
Gotta be one of the best pinballs ever.
So underrated.
I LOVE when Tatanka entered then hacksaw
EPIC machine man!
In the bowling close to my house, I played it often when I was young... Too bad it closed... I enjoyed spending dollars in that machine!
Hearing Mr. Fuji say "Extra ball is lit!" is one of the greatest things to ever happen in the history of life. 11:38

I have good memories playing this pinball when I went on vacation to the Jersey Shore back in the 1990's.

I agree, its fun, that's all that matters :-)
I could listen to Macho Man all day!
PS, love your vids. I watched your Rocky And Bullwinkle one about 20 times before I bought that pin.
This pin rocks. Peeps are discovering it now.
Played on this for dozens of hours as a kid with my cousin!
What's with these licensed pins being so underrated?
Good call, there is a lot of snobbery around Data East games but people just need to chill out and enjoy them for what they are! :-)

Lex going: "The championship will be mine" didn't age well :-)
Can’t wait for mine to come!!😍
Wow! Good score, bro!

Last time I played this was a good old nickel city

Riz2336 I haven't played it, yet, I'm not holding out much hope though :-(
Not a fan of the theme of this pin but it looks like it plays decent and it is attractively lit. Another nice video Matt!
MaxRevs911 Thanks, its actually not too bad, I am becoming a bit of a Data East fan recently. I would probably rather have this than the new WWE!!
