WWF Royal Rumble is a pinball table manufactured by Data East and was released in 1994. It was produced from April 1994 to June 1994, and at least 3500 units were produced during this period.
This table is based on the annual Royal Rumble PPV. This machine features the likenesses of various WWF wrestlers on both the backglass and playfield, such as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Lex Luger, Doink the Clown and Bret Hart. Many other wrestlers were originally featured on this machine but due to them leaving the WWF at various times Data East and WWF were constantly having to update and change the roster of featured wrestlers.

Oh wow this is a fantastic pickup. Many years back I got lucky and found a wrestlefest machine is great working condition for like $250 I believe. Always cool when you get a cool local pickup.

Yeah it's a guilty please game for sure, and it's much more affordable than some of the other games on my list. The hunt continues for some of those other machines you and I have talked about.

I play this regularly in VPX with a pup pack. The clips are a lot of fun.
It’s really great, I’ve played that a lot and you’re right, those pup pack clips of the matches and wrestlers really bring the theme to a new level!

@@cooltoy I'm glad Sting got his redemption and able to finish his story (no pun intended XD) in AEW compared to WWE. It was a shame that WWE wasted him just to say "haha that's the final nail in the coffin of dubya cee dubya!"

Cool machine. Played it many times. Data East always gets a bad rap but I like their machines. Star Wars (which I own) has always been my favorite DE pin. Definitely did a fantastic job shopping out the playfield. Happy Flippin!!

Such a great game! POSSIBLY Data Easts best? I'm still partial to Torpedo Alley and Last Action Hero. But Royal Rumble is pretty much perfect.
It's definitely top 3 Data East games in my eyes, there is just so much packed into this game that it's hard to count it out. Last Action Hero is also one of my faves from childhood. The movie is a guilty pleasure of mine for sure.

Awsome stuff, and yup that upper playfield is a B!tch!! What cpu rom version is your running? i just oprdered the 1.16 as mine has 1.13. anxious to see if it changes gameplay as on ball 3 you basically can just stack modes
Mine is the 1.13 as well. I'm not sure what the changes are between the two versions. I did a quick search but wasn't ever able to find any breakdown of the changes between the code.

I would not expect the slingshot plastics to be interchangeable between the two different machines
