I bought an orange one fell in love and went back to Amazon and bought a navy camouflage and a army green 😂 I usually spend around $60 for a watch and I got all three for less than $50! It's the same size and shape as the g-shock mudmaster and has an insanely well built band with add wrist bumpers makes it really comfortable to wear. Buy it! Don't think just go. There's no better watch for the price.
I've got one of these, great for just working outdoors, taking the dog out, less than 10 bucks and it looks ok too. If it gets dirty I wash it in the sink. Been complimented on it a few times too.
Smart and you're the one that's wearing it people see you wearing it they won't know a damn thing and it doesn't matter if they do or not what matters it keeps good time if it keeps good time I would wear that all day and wear my G-Shock on special occasions you got the best of both worlds
I am huge Casio G Shock fan well over 30? Years... back when they were affordable $35 - $75, prices now are obscene...still great watch, but i always bought G Shock to hold up to abuse, rough, waterproof, shock proof...now i have tried the SMAEL, on my 2nd...great value for the price of $25....You get what u pay for: glass/plastic dial cover stains easy w light household chemicals to a haze or speckled, instructions a waste of paper (mannnnnnny thx for this video!!!), bezel with text peels/discolors, nuts at 4 corners of the watch fall off, black rubs off. The good: bands are durable and secure, watch tells time accurately, light is helpful, but consider I use it while i landscape, fell trees, woodworking....this watch despite some cosmetic annoying failures, holds up well. If i can get 2 years life, this is a great value. If SMAEL can address several cosmetic failures i noted earlier, this is a great cheap watch in many colors, styles at affordable prices vs Casio G Shocks!!

However, as weird as this may sound coming from a G Shock fan, the SMAEL in this video looks WAY more pleasing to the eye than the G Shock. 😮 A lovely composition of eloquent design and color accents for enhanced appearance. 🤔 And I know this is my opinion because, as we all know, taste is subjective.
I thought I'd give this watch I try, but when mine arrived, no instruction. Your 2 videos are the best on getting the watch setup. I was mainly frustrated I couldn't get the alarm turned on/off. Thank you!

I use mine when I weed eat the grass,and clean out the pond of cat tails etc.Pretty durable watch considering I dunk in mud and water and hose it down afterwards.
For looks it's pretty solid, but not as badass as one would think. It also beeps every hr...I think? No way to turn that off that I know of. It's not annoying though, it's about as subtle as when you toggle the alarm on/off. I dig it
Oh oh oh man lete tell you, I own three of these types and loved them, I ended up wearing the army green band and looks like the GWG 1000 Casio mudaster the SMEAL WAS THE EXACT REPLICA, YEA no compass, no light with I didn't like , the led screen is backlight but not the watch hands, these are 20 to 25 is dollars, I leave these, and altimeter, who needs it, they do have alarms, I wore the army green band watch for 3 months 24 hours a day, and showered and soaked it bath, these are very well made watches, so spent 10 bucks for screen cover though, YOU WILL LOVE THESE, there backlight buttons not full watch BUT I always wear my clone to work, them switch to mudmaster on weekend
I bought one of these a few months ago within the first cpl hours the second hand stopped working and just kinda moves around freely as you move your hand around lol BUT the time is accurate and is always aligned with the digital and analog displays overall I like this watch I just ordered the cammo one hopefully the second hand functions! Everyone that’s complaining that the instructions are to hard..... I didn’t use them and had date and time set within ten minutes but was confused about how to set the day of the week and the answer is easy YOU DONT! It’s just for looks scratch that last sentence just read a message that says it is possible to get the day of the week just gotta search to find out how!
Sorry but the day of the week IS possible to change it. Just carefully follow the rather short instructions but it can be done. It took me about 15 minutes to guess how to do it but after you know how. it is easy.
Another alternative are the budget casios .Usually around $20 and some even with 10 year batteries & 100m water resistant (suitable for swimming) The problem with these Smael & Skmei knockoffs is the battery..does not last very long !
I've been wearing G-Shocks since 1988. My most recent one is from 2009 and is atomic so it's ALWAYS accurate to the second. Not that I need it to be that accurate but it's what I've become accustomed to. It's withstood the test of time with only a couple of new watchbands. I opted to buy my SMAEL Infiltrator about a year ago instead of forking out for another G-Schock replacement band. Big mistake and waste of money. It's withstood the test of time with only a couple of new watchbands. I should've bought the replacement band. This watch looks great and is comfortable. That's about it They tout military precision timekeeping. If I want this watch to be accurate, then I need to set it every day or it loses 3-5 seconds per day. The analog part also loses time but even worse, it randomly stops keeping time. I've changed the battery but it still loses more time than I'm willing to accept. Like stated in the review, "you get what you pay for."
Just got one second hand, very impressed. So the red arrow dial is totally decoration? It has the days of the week and mine's got a notch flashing by Monday, but no idea how to set it.
@@MarkMollat How? I know how to set the time, and date, but that's just day of month and month, it has no idea what year it's in, so you'd think day of week for that dial would be a separate setting but I can't find it.

It says it’s good to 5bar on the face under the name at 12. And 5ATM on the back. I’m having trouble getting it out of military time. I had to send the first one back,the second hand would not turn with the crown pushed in and it still turned the hands. It came in a bubble bag and broke out of the tin ad was just hanging out. I set the digital part of it and that worked fine . I have another that set up fine and I’ve been wearing it for a week and comfy and I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on it. Of course with its size,it makes like, carhart coats of jackets difficult when it snags inside but I love it and can’t be beat for 15 bucks. Oh, # 2 was out of the tin and the bubble bag had the crap beat out of it.

Great cheap "beater" watch. You can remove the rubber straps and leave behind the black base anchor points and use a NATO style watch strap too. I much prefer the feel of nylon. I think my Maratec NATO strap is worth more than the watch itself, but should I destroy this watch the strap will very likely live on. Great review!

The guy is 100% dead wrong.... the $18 watch will work just as good as the $400 watch except the $18 watch will need actual battery vs Solar charged battery... BUT BOTH WORKS THE SAME...since both uses battery power. I buy watches according to their looks vs functions.. a watch to me a piece of jewelry vs. I need to use its functions. As long it shows me the right time above that it is a Jewelry.

My smael watch is not displaying the MODE display. I tried pressing the mode button but it doesn't work. How can I set the mode to display the time. Tnx
If your mode button is not working, you may have a defective watch? Pressing the mode button should cycle through the different mods on the digital screen.

chime in the sense every hour it beeps? If so, than yes, this watch has it. Hold down reset button and press mode. You'll notice LEDs all marked for the days of the week indicating that the chime is on.

You're kidding me? Besides my two not moving, in every picture, or video that I see for this model of Smael watch, that damn indicator is in the same position, as mine: straight up. Weird. Your watch that you have is a Smael, right? Just wanted to clear that up. With the actual Casio, I have no doubt that that indicator moves.

I reviewed these last year. They are garbage. Time between analog and digital lost synchronization by 10+ minutes per day. I never knew which time was correct!! I also had a button fall off within days of owning...DAYS!! It's junk. $15 JUNK.

It has 2 batteries, the small lr626 runs the hands & always dies first, had mine 3 years, changed both batteries straight away, swim frequently, use alot of hand tools, it is very shock resistant, for 10 euros, I have no complaints
Go to time adjustment settings. select the hour setting and scroll until you see the am or pm near the second's counter. that'll indicate you are not in the 24hr clock.
The wrist band itself its worth the money I Bought all colors to be able to switch with original Mudmaster I was actually surprised they all work of course its not original, but I abused them just for fun, they worked even in frozen water, how many of you guys buy original Mudmaster and go really to desert or jungle with them,

have exactly the same watch, the only issue i am facing is the 12/24 hr format setting, till date couldn't find it . its am/pm setting is also not very user friendly, but still it is really a good watch for such a low price and does the basic sports watch functions perfectly.

I have that watch, it lasted about 4 1/2 months before the analog part quit keeping accurate time.

I've got one of these...changed both the batteries like for like but have lost the digital function....is there any way to reboot this ....??

You're kidding me? Besides my two not moving, in every picture, or video that I see for this model of Smael watch, that damn indicator is in the same position, as mine: straight up. Weird. Your watch that you have is a Smael, right? Just wanted to clear that up. With the actual Casio, I have no doubt that that indicator moves.
does anyone knows how to adjust time in this watch? i just bought one for my dad and i have no idea how does it work. i was really hoping for a video with instructions (since the watch we've ordered doesn't come with a manual). it's the same smael watch as in the video.

I reviewed these last year. They are garbage. Time between analog and digital lost synchronization by 10+ minutes per day. I never knew which time was correct!! I also had a button fall off within days of owning...DAYS!! It's junk. $15 JUNK.

jhawk1977 first of all bro why would you buy this junk don't you have money or what like I don't really understand people if you don't have money get something cheaper but truer it looks just like my $530 mudmaster. What I really hate about watches like this that they show up a lot of button but they don't function they are a dummy button like this type of watch are trying to be something which they aren't. I would buy a watch which is only real with less show off less functionality which works. I hate to see when people por they money to buy this junk and support this shirt company.
It has 2 batteries, the small lr626 runs the hands & always dies first, had mine 3 years, changed both batteries straight away, swim frequently, use alot of hand tools, it is very shock resistant, for 10 euros, I have no complaints

How did you get it off the 24 hour clock?
Go to time adjustment settings. select the hour setting and scroll until you see the am or pm near the second's counter. that'll indicate you are not in the 24hr clock.

have exactly the same watch, the only issue i am facing is the 12/24 hr format setting, till date couldn't find it . its am/pm setting is also not very user friendly, but still it is really a good watch for such a low price and does the basic sports watch functions perfectly.
I ordered one from Wish and it came defective. The quartz watch didnt work and it seemed to me that it had some water damage ironicly.
