In this Smael Watch Review we will be looking at the Smael SL-1805 and the Smael 1545, both are men's sports watches. We will also be reviewing the brand and watch generally.
In this review you will find these are great watches for the price, but of course, they won’t be winning a watch of the year award. Keep your expectations in check and realise that in a Smael Watch you are getting decent watch for the money. Then I am sure you will be more than happy with the results.
Now this watch is essentially a G Shock clone of the design, but it is not like a G shock. Whle it has a similar design as the G Shock watch it doesn't have all the things that make G shock what it is.
That being said if you want a great watch you can use for sport and run around with, then the Smael is perfect for you.

I have been buying these for a while .They look good and build is good .i have always have the batteries run out to soon except the digital .I have a couple and 3 years later the watches are still running .The non digital watches run out in no time .They are very well worth it .The others use two batteries and a little battery for the hands ,it’s why the battery runs out .The digitalis are great last a long time .

That watch works great no problem with it I think people are just lying other companies are putting people up to saying bad things about it in comments and it really has a glass front face it's not plastic

thanks for the video. i have the smael 8049 for a couple of years now. what i like about these watches is all the styles and color combinations for a low price and they keep petty good time. if its off a minute after a year i 'll just quickly reset it and they have stood up to any abuse i have given them. only downside for me is the watch band. mine recently broke and you cant get replacements. hate to just throw a functioning watch away but their cheap and now i can update with a new style. t.x.

Oh no sorry to hear that, tbh I would maybe look at getting it swapped under warranty.

I've never had the other but I do know the 1545. I've had three at various times including my current one. It is very solid and practical.
I have a baby-G Shock watch and a Smael watch, both are pretty much identical.

Have had mine for two years now it has never missed a beat wear it to work , It’s been in water so many times I have dropped it so many times and it still keeps going very impressed

I like oversized watches, cause of the size of my arms. Also prefer military, industrial or aviator style. Just got my second smael military, sand coloured band. Looks really brutal and cool

Analog is set to a.m.
Digital is set to a.m.
ALM is displayed in the frame where alarm is set.
I have yet to hear an alarm.
Ps the instructions that came with the watch were outdated.
For example to turn alarm off and on you have to press buttons C and D at the same time.

I own several SMEAL WATCHES they are great, bought the Casio GWG 1000 CLONE with green band, wore that for 4 months day and night and soaked in bath every night, Soni finally bought the real mudmaster, kinda regret buying the real mudmaster, these SMAEL ARE GREAT
Have a couple of Tudor's which love but have just ordered a Smael as a beater......it fascinates me because appently they get good reviews.......whats to worry about, it costs £14!!!! Looking forward to putting it through it's paces......thanks for the review!!

MrYouWho!! Update on the Smeal !!!!! Had the watch you over a week and have worn it ever day for mountain biking and it steams up under the glass most times but funnily enough when I've submerged in water for a test it works fine afterwards!! But I don't really care, it was £14 and it looks great and does it's job so who cares.......I'll still give it 10 out of 10......luv it!!!!👍👍 keep up the good work bruv and all the best with the channel....will keep watching from the UK!!

I have one of these cheap watches! It worth if you are not picky! I have many mechanical watches, but as a beater watch, I recomand these cheaper ones because if they break, I don't mind that! Great review and I wish you all the best things to come true ! Take care!

Bought a Smael G-shock clone 6 months ago.. hasn't lost any time yet. Its functional and as far as I'm concernec, grest value for the money. No way can it compete with the G-shock ($100's more expensive) and it would probably be more sensible to buy a new Smael if it fails or when the batteries need replacement

I bought SMAEL 1802 in green and yellow color but i have a big problem...I cant see the time on watch well...Whats going on???Should i replace battery???
Hi Greg, you should be able to see the time. It can be a bit difficult if you are outside in sunlight sometimes. If you can't see it well it could be a battery problem. I would contact the supplier about it.

Your mileage may very with this watch. They are hit and miss with the quality. The biggest issue I have with mine is the battery only lasted about 6 months. It's a bit sketchy to change as there are 2 batteries. Mostly dealing with very small screws that are easy to drop all over the place-lol
Also, as careful as I was replacing the batteries and putting it back together, now the backlight doesn't work. With a Casio, I just hand it to a Casio shop and let them change it. But hey, not everyone can afford that route. With the Smael you still get the look, even if doesn't work-lol

Hi Jessica, sorry to hear that. Do the buttons do anything with the watch or nothing happens at all? If nothing is happening I would suggest getting them to send you another as it shouldn't happen

@@MrYouWho when I use the light that's the only way I can see it but the light is real low so I don't know if it's the battery or just to watch

Cant just buy another one when im out in the field... my Gshock rangeman GW9400 never lets me down nor dous my Burtonx mudmaster..
It's a good watch for casual wear but yes if you are out in the field all the time those other ones would probably be better

Yes it is a great budget sports watch. You cant make calls with it and it diesnt have features like bluetooth. Were you looking at getting a sports watch?

These watch,s might look like a g shock but they don't perform like one, 50 m water resistance isn't suitable for swimming.

I have had several SMAEL watches over the past few years. I swim with all of them, never had an issue.

I have two Casio G-Shock s and a Timex Ironman. I really like all of them but these watches caught my eye on Amazon. The Smael is gorgeous, well built and easy to set. Talk about bang for the buck. A win win purchase. I feel like I cheated someone.
Not worth a review. Garbage quality kids toy watches with fake functionality. Crap.

Trash watch ! Just get a G shock. A G maybe be “x” more expensive but it is gonna be 50x better. The Casio will last. This watch, will most definitely fail when you depend on it.
Hey Krev, you are right that a G Shock is a lot better watch. But if you want a cheap watch that you can wear around the Smael watch is actually quite good. I have been using mine for 12 months, no issues 😀
