BMW went for a retro look, like the E30. It was a very bad attempt Imo. It’s the rear end for me. It’s horrible looking. And now that owners have started modding them to make them look better, people are starting to like the look of it. Well, an exterior shouldn’t need to be immediately modded for it to look good. 🤷♂️

The rollers were done using an Osmo Pocket 3 (great travel camera for rollers, I typically use the big rig for even more dynamic range) All the B-roll was captured with a combination of Sony a7IV and Sony A7SIII
Hopefully I can get one of these cars someday and add the Alpha-N spoiler wing, and Cosmis xt-500r wheels. Cosmis racing wheels and Weld racing Ventura S104 are the best rims you can add to a car. Blue and violet are two of m favorite colors, so I would add a color shift.
The G87 M2 is amazimg and people hate it for no reason. I actually like it more than the M4. Less people will have an M2 as welll. I wish I had money for one. Add the Alpha-N spoiler wing and better wheels/rims, and the car looks incredible. People just don't know how to make cars look better. Simple modifications will fix anything. Thw biggest problem is they showcased the M2 with all blavk wheels. Most people will disagree with me, but entirely all black wheels look terrible. Why? It doesn't look goos from a design perspective. The rims blend it with the tire itaelf, and if there are any unique lines or shapes in the wheel, no one will be able to see it. It makes the wheel look invisible, or it looka like one giant solid tire with no rims. Too many people are trying to do the blacked out. I don't know if it is an attempt to have a black ops car or what. My favorite style of wheels are black witht he machine lip, chrome, or polished edge. So it's shiny and sparkles. Cosmis racing xt-005r, cosmis racing xt-006r, and Weld racing Ventura S104 are my favorite wheels. They look the best on any car.

Black is a lot more forgiving from all the beating the wheels would take on track. The black wheels on my GT3RS has so many stone chips on it and because it’s black you don’t really see it 😃 Great wheel choices BTW 🙌😃
I love the stock seats and the multi color leather a lot better than those plain Recaro's. That was a downgrade. Everything else is cool and I love the gold wheels with the blue.
I love the stock bucket seats, looks modern and keeps you in place and is also great for my lower back 😃 The Recaro seats are personal preference I guess and for Nick, it helps achieve his vision. This is better than the sofa seats from BMW I think 😃🙌

I know Nick said he wants a porsche next, but as someone who owned both a g87 and a 911 turbo at the same time, I actually prefer the g87 in a lot of ways, especially with the different ways you can mod it and make it your own.
Yeah the M2/M3/M4 are great platforms to mod. With a 911, there ain’t much you can do before it starts to look too tacky. Wheels and some aero bits and that’s it. The 7-speed manual in a 911 leaves much to be desired. The 6-speed from BMW is tuned nice and more fun IMO.
@@thedevthing agreed. i owned a 991.2 gts 7 speed and i prefer the bmw 6 speed tbh... i also owned a gt4 6 speed which is prob the best transmission in a vacuum, but it wouldn't match the vibe of a g8x, which is so sublime and smooth, not as raw as a gt porsche car.
Is that the Vandvoort blue? Looks a bit darker to me. Wish they offered more color options. Weird they discontinued the tan seat option and still can't believe they don't offer a ventillated option.

💯 the key is to mod the car in such a way that it does not take away from the driving experience. Stuff we have done so far has improved the driving feel and made the car look better than stock.

OK, he said if you don't by the M3 comp, you'll have 40k to throw at the car.. Is it a youtuber thing trying to grow the channel? You throw 40k into a car, chances are, your losing half or all of it when you sell it. The guy I bought my C7 Corvette from, had a supercharger and a 2k axel back exhaust put on it. I got the car for the same price as a totally stock Vette. What color is the car? Is that a wrap? It looks like Voodoo blue. You can order many more colors on the 25's. Voodoo blue is one of them.
I think the point he is trying to make is that there is a $$ delta between the M2 and M3. That delta can be used to mod the car, which many find interesting and fun to do. Alternatively you can max out your budget on an M3 and not mod for some time. 😃🙌 His M2 is a wrap, now yeah we have new colors which is cool.
