If they remove the go karts as well that leaves a decent amount of space across the boardwalk and factor in the parking lot behind parachutes you’ve got enough space for a decent sized coaster
Twister and skyway I feel are both on the hot seat right now. Maybe even Houdini too. But I’ve always liked twister and I like how it’s really unique right now. I would be sad to see it go. Twister really adds depth to the thrilling flat rides we have.
Rides like Twister were a unique model when they came out, but it was kind of a fad to have them. It's impressive that GA has had it this long. I would love to see a more upscale restaurant in the park. As for Green Lantern, I think they could change out the stand-up trains for something more comfortable and breathe new life into it.

Probably wouldn’t happen considering that Cyborg opened in 2018 (5 years ago) and Twister opened in 1999 (24 years ago), also the things Colin said in the video are true as parts for twister are not easy to get and not cheap either. I’m not disagreeing with you as I would love this idea, but it just wouldn’t make sense from the park’s view. Very sad to see all together. 😢
Here's what I would do with Six Flags Great Adventure: 1. Put a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II in the space currently occupied by the closed Parachutes and the possibly to be closed Twister 2. Keep Green Lantern, but see if those trains used on Pipeline can be made to work with GL. If not, then sitdown trains like the ones used on Incredible Hulk. Ultimately, Green Lantern is a good layout, just it's a stand up. 3. Now that the Northern Star Arena is being demolished, Giga coaster or Dive

The ride used to have a longer duration time instead of the 5 flip it does! This park needs the the flat rides ! They should relocate somewhere else’s in the park
I think it is an ok ride. It is fun while it is twisting and flipping you around, but it doesn't last very long. And 2nd half of the ride it stops doing that completely. I don't think they need a restaurant there as they already have a few further up the Boardwalk.
SF should technically havehad some parts ifthey were smart. They have taken Top Spins out at GAm and SFFT in the last 5 years. If they were smart they should have used those 2 rides to have extra parts for their last remaining one.
HUSS still supplies parts and SAD Maschienbau in germany also provides parts for HUSS Topspins and Miworks in Germany also provides parts for Topspins. So three options to buy parts from🤷. So pretty easy to get parts.
@@ThrillsofColdplay Problem is that the brakes of a HUSS top spin no matter which version are made by Airbus. So those are pretty expensive to replace. That is what kills most of these rides.
Well, boy am I glad I decided to ride it last time I was at the park. But that was just because I heard someone say that this was the only ride of its kind IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Sure there's Top Spins we offer here, but I thought none were like this one. Colin, is this really the only flat ride of its kind IN THE WORLD? If not, what other Huss Top Spins are there and what amusement parks are they at?
This park still has a of dead space. A handful full of flat rides wouldn’t cost anywhere near the coast of a major coaster would. This park had a massive amount of flat rides during the early 2000’s they got rid of all of them and never replaced them that’s why this park looked so dead for years do the that fact they removed everything and was very slow with replacing stuff.

Within the next couple of years I think Plaza Del Carnival should get a refresh since it looks run down and it could use better theming and maybe a Zamperla air race where el diablo once sat and maybe put a restaurant in.

Agreed, Green lantern is the worst coaster in NJ. It's downright painful to ride sometimes

I think it’s interesting that the SeaWorld park in Australia has a Huss Suspended Top Spin

Like I said in the video, this is the last one left in the USA, there are still a couple others outside of the country
Twister isn’t the only Huss Topspin left in America, Lake Winnie has one too.
