First and foremost, it's a full PC gaming keyboard. And has some extra features for couch gaming, why is that a bad thing? You can use it with a mouse on the damn couch!!!! People are stupid! 😢

I came across this video while looking for something to replace the wireless Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard that I've been using with my HTPC now that I have added a Smart TV to the set-up. It would be nice to have just one keyboard I can use with both.
Q1: What kind of on/off switch does this have?
My wife has a habit of turning the switch on and off on the MS one I have literally every time she picks it up to use it - even if it's just to pause something she's streaming. I always worry about premature wear.
She also has trouble using two finger gestures to scroll webpages - I was hoping the wheel on this could be used for scrolling rather than volume.
Q2: I wonder if there's a way to reassign functions on it?

Why does every youtuber waste time time talking stuff about the box the feel etc? This keyboard has too many useless features we do not need.
The analogue stick should be closer to the left thumb but i am happy something like this exists.

-This one is mechanical, has 1000hz usb poll rate, key rollover and anti-ghosting.
-The K830 is a membrane/rubber dome, with 250hz usb poll rate, NO key rollover and NO anti-ghosting.................... You're kidding, right? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i would add a few things like:
Make both sides attachable and detachable so you can add a number pad thing on either side or move the mouse thing to either side.
Make it so you can assign the scroll wheel to a program for e.g. RUclips, Spottily, SoundCloud, OBS.
I agree with the mute function. Change it! guh
make the charging cable USB 3.1 to Type C thunderbolt 3 charging cable.
We cant forgot the RGB cmon corsair. just plug in a power bank and tape it to the back when we can enjoy RGB for hours without losing to much power from it. :)
i don't people would care too much if it were a bit more heavier for more usage since the scenarios we would use this in.

Corsair K83 vs Logitech K830?
How does the K83 compare to Logitech's K830 offering? Since they are the same price (100USD) anyone has any opinions on either?
@TwinTurbo Ray Logitech is definitely better. I've had this keyboard for several years and the battery is great compared to the Corsair. k83 I was 2 weeks old and sent it back to the store. The quality is definitely better at Logitech. I have had the opportunity to use both keyboards and will never buy a Corsair again from my own experience.

Will the keyboard sleep over night, instead of having to turn it off/on. Does the light stay on or just turn on when you touch it (or get near it?)
It sleeps, the lights too. But you can make it turn off if its not used for X hours.
which is the best mechanical keyboard for typing in your view? not gaming

I have a question. I am thinking about using this keyboard for multiple devices. Do you know if its possible to use the bluetooth dongle on say my PC and also have it connected by wireless bluetooth to my surface pro and be able to switch between the two?

I love your monitor set up, I have that Aoc monitor for editing! What Benq monitors do you have long wise?
Can the LEDs be turned off? Cause those will drain the battery pack soo much faster. Cause my use case would be playing FPS-type games and a joystick would be the 2nd highest contributor for battery drain next to those lights. And so with that yeah I'll like to just have a board I leave on the coffee table and charge it a fair less often than say a controller with rumble motors that in many games can't be disabled. But that's just me trying to be the most battery efficient. But still yeah as a PC gamer, I'm not big into controllers. I'd rather have aboard. And this built-in joystick kinda removes the desire for controllers. Sure it's a bit clunky to hold on your lap while riping out spines of demons. But it's better than shuffling around a board a mouse and a controller everywhere.
It never worked well on my Sony smart tv. Works great on PC though.

I still have fully functioning Logitech dinovo edge, will this one match the Dinovo edge?
My kid just poured water over my 10 year old edge and now some of the keys are fucked. May have to get the corsair...

nice keyboard for a couch use considering there is no need for a mouse and some additional controls. But i would still go for the drevo blademaster pro. Also its a shame that it has micro usb intead of usb c
If only it didn't have the trackpad on the side (I'm a lefty). Anyone know of a classy TKL UK keyboard that is not mechanical? Ideally I want one that doesn't have the hash (#) key above the enter key. (or above the 3 key either).
Bought it, the trackpad sucks and has issues even with latest software update ON PC with Windows 10...look at the Amazon reviews..
They should make a mechanical keyboard, that has about 9 programmable keys with lcd display (like the elgato stream deck)...Corsair K95-Stream...

Media keyboards should have much better battery life ratings imo. Wouldn’t trade my MS all-in-one media keyboard for it.

It was probably in development long before type c was the standard. Also I'm sure they will be launching type c with a flagship product before updating their entire product line. Not a big deal since the battery lasts so long.
Worst keyboard I ever bought. Using the dongle... It lags terribly no matter how you set it up and after months of trying to get it to work. Absolute trash

Casual games................. Oof!!! It's a full PC Gaming Keyboard, do a proper review!
It has 1000Hz USB Poll Rate, meaning 2.4GHz Wireless - 1ms Input Lag.
It has 20 Keys Rollover.
It has Anti Ghosting.
It has Mechanical Switches.
It has Illumination and a decent battery.
Get a freaking mouse and test it properly, that's if you know what to test... But you have no clue what these mean, do you? :(

Having owned the Logitech Di Novo edge keyboard, I would say this looks cheaper, not as slim or impressive looking in its design, and I am certain those keys won't be a patch on the scissor switches in the Logitech. Although they have copied the one thing I disliked about the Di Novo, ROUND TRACKPAD!!?? WHY!!? Absolutely stupid design choice when there is space for a square/rectangular trackpad.
That's because this is a fully gaming keyboard! And that is just for typing.

Logitech's gaming line is the G one. The Novo is just a keyboard to connect to a phone......

Too big, too expensive. Just get a Riitek Rii i8+.
This is also a PC keybord with full sized Keys so compare to riitek is just dumb
