- My favorite pair of boots are these White’s MP-Sherman in Horween Cinnamon Waxed Flesh with a toe cap and half lug sole. I quickly developed a loud squeak in the right boot that turned me off from wearing them. The sock liner on the left boot was rolled back as well, so it always felt like I was standing on something. Whites quickly took care of me and resoled both boots and replaced the sock liners free of charge. Very happy to have my favorite pair back in the rotation with fresh soles squeak free!

TALK ABOUT THE SIZING SO FOLKS CAN GET AN IDEA ON FITTING ETC. BRANNOCK SIZE ETC UP OR DOWN OR TRUE TO SIZE
The MP last is fairly long and narrow. Go down a half size from Brannock and you should be good. I can do a video on sizing and go more in depth
Sock liner detaching is fairly normal. $800 Vibergs have this happen too.
After just couple of uses doesn't seem normal to me.

I have used Nick's Packers and Wesco Jobmasters ( custom service boot style) .., but I love White's the most, so i wanted them brand new.. I bought olive waxed LTT Lineman 350 from Division Road.., so cool looking with the patch.. but I can't wait to get MPs and Bounty Hunters at some point.. cinnamon waxed with the half commando looks great !! I would like that too.. or maybe black CXL and dainite sole.. idk.., depends on if I get a dressy boot later or not.. like a Viberg or Stevens.. I like your Drifters too..
but I think I lean more Urban Logger.., think i'd drag my heel too much with the Drifter.. thanks for the show n tell,, love seeing new boot content
Sounds like you’re in the beginning of a gaining a nice boot collection 😝 Division Road definitely has some very appealing White’s make ups. It’s honestly hard because there are so many good options out there. But that’s why I want like 4 pairs to cover my bases. Or that’s at least how I justify my obbsession 😂
Is this in the 5050 last or MP? Other videos state the 5050 last run big. What kind of pant are those?
@@ismaelcalderon2542 this is in the mp last! I went a half down from Brannock and it was perfect. The denim is pure blue Japan 019 14oz.
Any difference on sizing and fit between the white's and the grant stone's ?
They’re both 9D. I think standard advice is to size them the same (half size down from Brannock) The Floyd last on the brass boot has a very tall and roomy toe box and is a super comfortable last. The MP last on the whites has a bit more of a pointed toe box and is kind of a longer more narrow last which actually fits me great. I would size them the same, but they definitely fit differently.
I really like Whites. I own 3 pairs already. They do have great customer service. I am waiting for my pair MP-Shermans in the same leather. I have been waiting. Thanks for the nice review. My other 3 boots came to me perfect with no squeaking and no imperfections.. Holding off on getting a pair Nicks for now.

@@Gabe_Dewey I have a President in Chromexcel Brown. A pair of Captains in the Burnt Copper and a pair of Handsewn loafers in Tobacco with Storm King outsoles. They are like the old Timberlands from 25 years ago. I also have 3 pairs of Whites. 2 pairs Danner Moc Toes and I am still waiting on my first pair of Nicks...
Get yourself some pointed toe packers. Get them from Whites or Drew’s (whites makes many of Drew’s boots). The ultra high arch with walking heel is really comfortable and you get tons of compliments. Way more than your Sherman’s get. However, be prepared to get used to them. I grew up wearing cowboy boots with a similar last and heel. It takes a bit to get accustomed to that style of boot. I grew up farming and ranching so these were like going back to my youth

I have a pair of MP Shermans in black waxed flesh with an unstructured toe and Dainite sole. The lack of a toe box makes them look sleek. I’m glad I got them before they were $700!

Whites fit is unsurpassed. I’m giving away the only pair of Grant Stones I’ve bought.

Great taste! I got my first pair of Whites MP boots a couple of weeks ago and they are awesome. I also have the the Grant Stone Brass and was looking at the Nicks all Black Urban drifters. However I'm now kinda leaning toward the Overlanders.
Thank you! The Overlanders are killer as well. They’re basically just an 8” version of the urban drifter if I remember correctly. You should check out their Wicket and Craig veg tan leather options too. Some of the most beautiful leathers I’ve ever seen. But they come at an additional cost of course.
I own three pairs of White's two smoke jumpers and a packer style..top shelf..have you tried Courtney Selous?..I love my White's but since I put these Courtney Selous on they don't come out of the closet much.

I have 2 pairs of whites boots; the Smokechaser and the MP Sherman. Both easily the most comfortable pairs of footwear that I own. And both built like tanks.
The MP Sherman with the half-lug almost feels as flexible as a tennis shoe with just the right amount of heft.
Horween’s cinnamon waxed flesh must be seen in person. I think this video shows how it has some shine to it, almost glows and patinas over time.

Nice BB54! I got a BB58 myself in the silver and part of my wishes I had the BB54 instead 😅. I agree with your taste in watches and boots!
Good eye! I absolutely love it. I actually almost purchased the silver BB58. By far my favorite of the 58’s. I don’t think you can go wrong with either. The clasp on the 54 is a game changer though
