You can't put rookies who have never played an NFL down in the top 30 QB's in the league. I need to see all of them throw an actual NFL pass before I put them on any list.

Didn’t Judd compare Powell to Jefferson last year during training camp?
I think there is some comp Powell and Jefferson both are very successful in the intermediate routes which KOC loves utilizing which to me makes Powell the perfect fit obviously JJ is the best reciver in the game the one negative with Powell you have to live with is his poor run blocking bit phil snd judd are underselling Powell.

Interior Dl and Ol help would be good. Still don't like our center that much and I was pretty surprised they resigned him a couple years back. Maybe there weren't many options. I think one more veteran CB would be good as well.

What happened to Michael Thomas? He was drafted after Treadwell and became a superstar, but he hasn't had more than 40 catches or 500 yards since 2019.
Not as sexy as a WR3, but how about C/G Connor Williams? His agent (Rosenhaus) said he will be ready for start of the season despite terrible injury to end his ‘23 campaign. We could make the numbers work and get a top rated o lineman somewhere in the middle (I vote center)
I can’t wait for training camp to start so we can put the Snake Draft in the garbage bin on the bottom shelf of PD’s bit rankings.

I think Vikings will be watching very closely who gets cut at 53 man roster cutdowns, especially with DTs, WR3, IOL and CB

I like Brock Purdy [and Christian McCaffrey, obviously] but -- in addition to injuries -- his mistakes [and McCaffrey's] were essential to losing the MNF game in Minneapolis.
Everyone watched that game and Purdy didn't help his ranking with his performance against a defense other QBs abused.

Renfrow: worst run blocker ever. Gym rat. Lunch pail guy. No thanks

Powell has limitations as a blocker, route runner, but I like him too.

Simms isn't perfect, but I think I trust him over most other national analysts when it comes to QBs. He has had some misses, such as Mond. But he was right about Mahomes when a lot of people weren't, and he had Jackson at the top of his class. Also had Herbert over Tua.
Simms only relevant because of his Dad. Simms clueless. Sims going to say anyone with a cannon arm is "good".
And Tua has had a superior career...

Yes relying on him being a number 1 or 2 that would be a hugh issue. His run blocking alone makes him an interesting option for the 3rd alone. Especially on a team friendly veteran minimum deal.

I have a great question for you guys. Everyone I mean everyone is picking the Vikings to be a 6 to 8 win team and possibly 9 win team. Are we all underestimating the Minnesota Vikings? Could they be a top NFC team and have 13+ wins this season and be a contender for the Superbowl?

The best plan for MN sports fans: Keep expectations low, and be pleasantly surprised if/when they exceed those expectations. Versus, having high expectations, and being extremely disappointed when they don't hit those lofty expectations.

No 13 wins this season. Minnesota have to rule the NFC North and currently they appears to be in catch up mode to Detroit and Green Bay.

The choices left in free agency at wide receiver are beyond grim. Absolutely zero reason to sign any of those guys
Way to much is made out of super bowls
In football, much of it is luck. Any team can beat any other team at a given moment. If they played another game the next day....the other team could win. Therefore, there isn't any real truth about the winner of the super bowl is necessarily the best team. I mean, the super bowl is ok
..it's kinda fun....somebody has to win
But, it's so anticlimactic in reality...I enjoy watching football..
