Oh my gooooooshhhhhh, Cameron. I am so flattered and beyond grateful that you highlighted my channel and I again in your vlog. Thank you so much for your kind words! That means so much to me, and I'm so glad you like my channel. It honestly still blows my mind that you say that I show a lot of vintage books that you don't already know about! Wait until you see my latest haul I got yesterday. So excited for you to see the books! So many awesome finds. Haha enough about me; let's talk about this vlog! So awesome. I live for your Cemetery footage. Love it! Also how cool is it that your street had a flipping parade randomly for fourth of July! And that firework show seemed epic. I actually just read Lights Out too, and it was so fun. Awesome to hear your thoughts on it and on the movies. I love hearing your perspective as a long time Fear Street fan! I have a copy of Party Summer and would love to read it in August! You praising it so highly makes me more excited to dig into it. Thanks again for everything, my friend. From the bottom of my heart, it truly means a ton to me that you are trying to help my smaller channel grow! And, of course, wonderful video and editing as always. The quality of your work is second to none 💪😁🔥👻🎃 ahhhhhh thank you again 🤩😊🙏
Awww, you’re welcome!! You deserve it and I can’t wait to see your channel grow. 😁 I can’t wait to see that haul! 😃😃😃 thank you for always watching and being so supportive to me!
I hope this Fear Street trilogy will be successful enough to spawn more movies and even a TV show, and maybe then they will choose specific books to base it on, and focus more on the actual street.
I seriously hope we can purchase Fear Street because man this looks like something I'd want to re-watch on repeat for a long time lol. Fingers crossed that the positive feedback for the movies means more trilogies around Halloween as a new tradition. >83
I agree that the movies are not the best representation of the books. They were just slasher movies and they were good but it felt disconnected-like why are we calling them Fear Street Trilogy 😂
Perfect timing. I just watched Fear Street 1994 and 1978, going to watch 1666 soon. Man, these are fun-campy-slasher movies. lol. I hope they're successful enough to make more.
This vlog was perfect! I know I always end up in the comment section using the word "perfect" but that's how I feel. They have that eerie feeling to them that always make me want to get comfortable, snuggle under a blanket with a cup of tea to watch them (which I do, even when it's hot because why not ?) Thank you for your work, and thank you for sharing it with us.
Really great vlog, Cameron! I liked the trilogy overall. It somehow managed to feel both friendlier (if that's the right word) and more brutal than I was expecting. I enjoyed that weird balance.
I know I read betrayal.. but man.. that was years ago. Love to read that again. I was a library nerd and that was the highlight of my day.. getting to check out the fear street books.
Really enjoyed this reading vlog! 😎 and too much fried food is definitely a killer. Makes me sleepy too. Yes to the spreadsheet. I also did one not long ago to help me know which ones I have. Part 2 was my favorite part of the trilogy. I knew a summer camp in the 70s and a killing spree was going to be the one for me.🤣 The Fear Street books are nearly impossible to find over here. Only some of the newest editions that are not half as cool. With age sleeping at night is a challenge hahahaha I feel you there. I suddenly need more sleep.
Been loving these fear street vlogs! Sad to hear about the gap you’re going to have between the FS vlogs but excited to see what other content you’ll have as FS is what made me subscribe.
There will definitely be more FS content! Just have to take a break from the FS vlogs, but I will have other reading vlogs. I’d also like to do a Goosebumps binge soon. :)
I was really looking forward to this video, because I wanted to see your reaction to the final two Fear Street parts. I totally agree with all of your thoughts!! My favorite segment was 1978 also! I agree that it felt the most complete/fleshed out/slasher fun. On a different note, I was excited to see that you were creating a Fear Street spreadsheet! It made me laugh because I love making spreadsheets of my book collection and my sister thinks I am crazy! Now I can say that a published author and RUclips star does the same thing, so she's the nerd!!!! :)
Making spreadsheets is so fun and relaxing! Haha Also, it’s good to keep track of your belongings in case (Heaven forbid) there’s a fire or something. Never hurts to have a record!
Ooh caught that sneakiest of sneak peeks for the Autumncrow High cover! Can't wait to see the whole thing. I'm with you on 1978 being the best of the bunch. It was just a tighter, more focused story, and stands alone pretty well. 1666 was actually my second favorite, mostly because I really loved the period piece part, which gave me The Witch vibes (an all time favorite), but I agree that the ending sequence felt a little underwhelming. Loved the fact that the entire story centered around a queer relationship and that it didn't end in the typical tragedy. And the cast as a whole was just really solid. Would definitely watch an anthology series of this.
Enjoying your Fear Street vlogging! Your brother in law got your shirt from TeePublic I am wearing my own shirt as I watch your video right now so cool mine is maroon! I ordered a whole bunch of Fear Street shirts and I love them! I thought the movies were good but like you I want adaptations of the actual books as a show. Can't wait to see what other books you talk about!
Hi Creep!! Maybe this gonna sound weird but thank you Cameron for your passion on books and specially on R.L. Stine’s books!! I’m from Spain. I live on the south of Spain in Málaga, Costa del Sol. I grew up with Goosebumps series and Goosebumps books and I had (still have it and kept it with love) a Ghosts of Fear Street book. I really love this kind of creepy stories and I enjoy with books and movies of this genre. I started to watch your videos because I was into Netflix Fear Street trilogy, searching about info, reviews, opinions and I find out your wonderful RUclips videos. I ‘ve already started to read Fear Street books in Spanish and I’ve bought 4 second hand books of the series. I just wanna say thank you because you have turn the lights on of my curiosity on Fear Street books. Sorry about the huge text talking about (I’m sure) my silly things hahaha Thank you and greetings from Spain!!
That creep into the camera LOL so cute! Gahhhh, you mentioned me! 💜🤗 Thank you so much! That made my day! 😃 🦇 👻 Kelsi's videos have awesome editing! it's so fun and original! 5am is awesome, it's quiet and peaceful and I love getting coffee wherever and it's practically empty. The day smells like potential 😂 Really enjoying these vlogs, esp over a longer period of time!
Agree with your review. Especially since you’ve read tons of Fear street. I felt the same but I was hoping no wasn’t missing something from the books. Good stuff man
You’re videos are just such a highlight of my week! Honesty loved prt 3 the most, but prt 2 was just so good! Tbh, I wish we were getting a tv series...
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that opening clip was epic!!! I need to finally read these! I’ve only read the Halloween Night one and I was obsessed with it, which truly surprised me cause I thought it was going to be cheesy in a bad way.
Love your videos! Any tips on purchasing First Edition First Printings of Fear Street books? I'm working on my collection again after getting rid of it many years ago. I've been doing eBay and etsy, but so far I have only ended up with one first printing!
I recommend messaging sellers to see pics of the copyright pages. That’s the way I have to do it. Then when I see a book has that full number line on the copyright page, I go for it. 😎
Great video as always sir! I'm slowly working my way through Autumncrow savoring each story like fine wine. I'm currently on "I Have No Mouth and I Must Feed" and loving it. Every story has been a f**king Banger man! Autumncrow is becoming a personal favorite. Definitely gonna be reading this back to back with Ray Bradbury's, "The October Country" every october :)
That’s so great to hear! I’m glad you’re liking it, and I hope you enjoy Autumncrow High when it’s released. :) Always a pleasure to be in Bradbury’s company!
@@LibraryMacabre Take my money NOW sir! lmao I am so STOKED for Autumncrow High!! As Ellen Reid said, "Halloween wasn't dead, you just needed to know where to find it." and I found it alright, in Autumncrow. Can't wait brotha :D
I wanted to comment earlier but idk if I already did. So I'm back a second time to comment. But anyway! I really enjoyed the movies and this video and was soooo looking forward to your thoughts on the movies! I agree they didn't focus too much on fear street itself just a bit here and there. Hopefully that means they plan on making more 🙏
Oh and one last thing I didn't mention: I loved the certain use of the books in the opening of Part 1 and in the climax of this. It's kind of the best tribute you could ask for in that part lol.
I remember the Fear Street Saga as my 2nd favorite trilogy (#1 being Cheerleaders). Have to carve some time out to watch the movies. Love the Tails and Tales SRP rep!
You just needed the flannel on with a bag over the head! Lol. I feel so bad! Such a poser. I have not read any of the books but I have seen the movies. By the way I LOVE how organized you are with those fear street books! I need to get my hands on some… some day! I think my fav was part two for the movies…agree with everything you said!!
Oh boy, here we go. I've been doing my obsessive spreadsheet type things, and by that I mean google docs. I did one listing all the continuity nods and cameos in the series, and it's kinda coplete but I keep finding more I didn't know of before. Even made a counter to keep track of who appears/is mentioned the most. Love the finds, especially Spooksville of course lol Sagas: Again, haven't read them in a while, I'll be reviewing them next month though. Lights Out: I like this one but I'm mixed on it. Solid mystery and build, pottery wheel is epic, but every character aside from Holly was bad and that kind of hampered it. Her getting with Mick was ugh and Gerri was weirdly unresolved. So it's Decent but could be better. Movie Part 2 1978: If nothing else, I liked it more than the book lol, if only because it had better charecters heh. Anyway, it was good but like a lot of trilogies, it is kinda middling filler in comparison. Weird how the snake thing was kept and not featured hugely, but whatever. Still fun, and good for the same reasons, just kinda basic compared to the others, wasn't quite as invested, feels like they fudged it just a bit because it was the middle chapter. I liked the characters, especially Alice, and it has enough effort to be good. Party Summer: I enjoyed this a fair bit, but like a lot of the Super Chillers, it does drag. I don't think the split personality thing was needed, some bits don't quite go anywhere but I liked the lore mentioned a lot. It's generally one of the more suspenseful ones for most of it, but some of certain story elements fall short in the end. A better one in some areas, less in others. Movie Part 3 1666: Off the bat I noticed they basically threw the Saga trilogy away, aside from using the Goodes but in a way it gave them more room to flesh out their own story they were clearly invested, may have been more wonky if they tried to fit all in but I would have liked to see a lot of the soap opera wildness. It weirdly reminded me more of the Catuluna Chronicles lol. As you said, it had enough of the spirit of the setting. That aside, this was my favorite of the three. It felt the most consistent, and the acting and directing were even better this time, it had a lot of gravitas. The final 3rd concluded things well and nicely, even made me appreciate the others a bit more. Stine said recently this was his favorite of the three, which is cool. Especially since he himself loves the saga trilogy. I liked that we saw Fear Street eventually and not as the final shot as I thought, but it is super weird it barely played a part. Almost feels last minute as they realized they needed it. It was novel to see more actual teen stuff here like swearing and sex but the swearing went a bit too far in part 1, felt like they really wanted to ride that wave of "Oh man Fear Street can say fuck!" but thankfully there was a lot less as they went on. And they didn't lean as far as into sex as i thought, just a bit here and there. As a whole the trilogy was solid. Flawed for sure but ambitious with a lot of effort and love put int them and they finished nicely. As a Fear Street thing, it starts with enough of the spirit and a few tropes but they mostly veered off and did their own thing, didn't have enough Easter eggs and such. But a certain point, I was able to let go as honestly some of it was better. It felt a tad more true to real teens, there was a bit more character work and of course more/better kills. Probably not up to Halloween Party/Runaway stands but they can get in that ballpark at times. Stine says he believes they have the spirit even as he notes the differences (He was reportedly very supportive of the LGBT representation in it, which is awesome), so yeah that's nice. Pretty different but at least it can function as its own thing and is a coherent solid work. For me,, that's all I can ask for. Some of the more purist-y people are a bit silly, given the uh...nature/literary value of the books, for as much as I like them. It's not the biggest deal that it's different, that's always gonna happen especially if you are doing this approach anyway. And yeah, there's always the books, and hey some were even reprinted to tie into the movies. Really hoping for a spinoff series that can perhaps stay in the movie-verse while being able to have more book stuff.
fear street definitely deserves a series. they couldn't have left the ending open if they didn't have intentions of more content. this is what i tell myself anyway LOL. thoroughly enjoyed all three parts; they all had their unique charm. but 1994 holds a special place in my heart. everything about it from the opening sequence to the music scores was just so cozy.
I loved your intro! I’m super tired and trying to finish stuff and get to bed so it caught me off guard and spooked me for a minute! 😆 And I love that picture of the spooky home to the right of you in the ending part of the video. That is so cool, if you know where it’s from please let me know (when you can, I saw your post about responses, take your time!)
I really enjoyed the movies despite not being a fan of the books. The best thing I can say about 1978 is I am going back to watch the Friday the 13th series after watching it. I am contemplating picking up the bind up of The Betrayal etc series. The bind up of the first 4 books was fun.
I binged all three of the movies in September and really enjoyed them. I haven't read any Fear Street for a few decades...lol So I didn't realize how far off they were. The only thing wrong with this video is that I couldn't see your T-shirt at the end of the video. It looked kind of vintage Halloween, which I love. Thanks for the video 🎃
I agree! I'm to assume in the movies Fear Street is just the street that connects Shadyside and Sunnyvale and the mall is likely on it but it would've been nice for it to be mentioned given the name of the series 😕
Loved your video, Cameron! I'm going to check out Harpies in the Trees and thanks for shouting out Kelsi. I loved the Fear Street movies. The trilogy was so well done and that twist ending was cool. I've never read any of the books so I have nothing to compare it to. As a film lover, though, it feels like a really well made love letter to great slashers. Where should I start in the Fear Street series? I want to try to get into it. Any recommendations? Great job on your vlog! :)
Huge fan of the channel. I read a lot of horror. I want to get started reading some of the old classic paper bags from hell books. I just don’t know where to begin. Any good recommendations?
Have you seen the vinyl records coming out from Waxwork Records?! Idk if you have a record player but I'm sure you would love their Fear Street Trilogy records AND they're repressing their Goosebumps records! I'm so excited for them to come out! 👀
I love love loved fear Street and still do as an adult the babysitter was one of my favorites I used to have all of these but I Don't anymore which sucks love seeing other people enjoy these!
Hey Cameron. It really sounds as though being a FEAR STREET fan prevented you from enjoying the movies as much as you otherwise might have done. Personally, having never read a FEAR STREET book, and so having no emotional investment or knowledge of the backstory whatsoever, I have to say I unreservedly *loved* these movies! I thought they worked on pretty much every level -- they were well-made, well-acted, excellently paced, and there were lots of twists and turns in a pleasingly rich and complex story that kept those of us with no prior knowledge of FEAR STREET's history guessing until the very end. They also really made me enthusiastic to read some of the FEAR STREET books -- and so my question to you is which 10 books would you recommend as a FEAR STREET 'starter-pack'? Do you have to pretty much read the books in order to get all the references or can you dip in and out? I know the first 4 books have just been reissued as a bumper volume, so I've gone ahead and stuck that on my Amazon Wish List. But if you were compiling a list for newbies, what would your own personal recommendations be?
I watched the first Fear Street movie and actually hated it, unfortunately. It had so little to do with the books and I think it's pretty gratuitous too. I won't likely be watching the other two. I love, however, that you're pushing through reading all the books! So fun. Especially for summer!
Great thumbnail! Maybe your camera has a spooky virus XD I loved part 2 and 3 movies--not sure I can pick which one I like better? I agree that they don't really feel like Fear Street but I still loved them. At least they weren't absolutely awful and linked to FS I guess?
Hoooold up, is that a tails and tales summer reading program shirt? I know that's totally random but I work at a library and I recognized it 😂 I bet you "slay" at summer reading 💀
My husband never read the books so I was so excited to watch the movies with him. When the movies ended up being nothing like I remembered I was so disappointed 😅
After the second movie I decided to just see them as inspired adaptation of the books 😅 it felt disconnected but still fun and solid horror/slasher movies. And I agree they wrapped the series really well, I really enjoyed them but I didn't like 1666 as much as the first two movies, idk if I was in a bad mood that night because the accents kinda threw me off, especially with Deena/Sarah Fier. I really liked her in 1994, it's my favorite but I feel like since they also casted a different actress to play Sarah Fier it would've been nice to see more of her 🤷♂️
I really enjoyed the trilogy so would love a FS anthology! There's so much quality source material to work with. Plus, as a '90s kid, I miss the overabundance of horror tv. GIVE ME MORE lol! Side-note: Your phone keeps washing you out because you're pale af lol. I laugh but I'm serious. The lighter you are, the more light bounces off your skin which affects how the cam registers you. So basically, make sure you film somewhere the light is balanced (for your skintone). Especially since you have a lot of dark facial hair. GL!
I liked 1978 best, but liked the trilogy as a whole. I still need to read the books, or at least some of them. I do have a question. So, 1978 is inspired on Lights Out and 1666 on The Betrayal, what book is the inspiration, or at least the closest one, for 1994?
@@LibraryMacabre Thank you. I'd been curious about this since the 9th. Great vlog as always. Hopefully with the future of the franchise, they actually set some stories on the actual street.
Omg that intro made me laugh out loud!. The Fear Street trailer looked awesome although I loved all the books in the series as well. Your reactions were priceless Cam!. 🤣🔪❤📚 I hope the fried oreos were tasty and there was no food coma. I'm digging the mug as well cool quote!. I follow Mers as well love her content and the overall aesthetic of her videos. It's a shame the finale of the movies wasn't on Fear Street itself and that it had the unnecessary language drugs and sex in it. :(
I agree that the sex, nudity and language really doesn't go with the Fear Street vibe. They're good movies, but I feel a bit much for being based on kids books. It just seems weird to me. Great vlog! I always love these videos.
Thank you!! I needed to find another fear street book reader analyzing the movies. I had a huge problem why these movies were called fear street when there was no mention of fear street. Wait. Correction. There was a shot of Fier Street …. But not fear street. Also- a major change from the books to the movie was the curse of shadyside. The entire town is cursed? Not the street? I wonder if the curse will move from the town to the street in possible later adaptations. I also need to know why the actual fear street books made an appearance in the 1st 5 mins of the movie. I haven’t found an answer for that. Overall - I liked the 2nd movie as its own movie too. I feel like I can separate this movie as it’s own and forget about any relation to fear street. It’s the only way to enjoy it. I felt like the 90s presence was super cheesy. I didn’t like any of the characters. So if they died I felt nothing. I cared a lot for ziggy which is why I liked this movie the best. What these movies did was reawaken my interest in the books again. So can’t wait to reread them. I will not rewatch the movies. (Exception of the 2nd and just skip over the 90s part) I also hope this series picks up as a tv series. It has the potential to cross into American Horror Storytelling Where we are introduced to several characters and they focus in on each characters’ experiences on fear street that’s based on the book. I loved reading some characters added into other books here and there. I just rambled but had so many thoughts. I read these books as they were coming out in the 90s so I’ve been waiting for adaptations for a very long time.
Yeah, the movies were well made but did not feel like Fear Street at all. Best just to watch them as horror films that are only vaguely inspired by Fear Street and then they're pretty entertaining. As for the books, my favorites so far are Halloween Party and Wrong Number--though I'm basically enjoying them all hugely. My least favorite is "Lights Out". That one just seems a nonstop bummer for the heroine, what with her being constantly attacked and put down by, well, absolutely everybody! On the positive side, it is revealed that the pottery wheel is an early incarnation of the bread slicer (with similar wonderful applications).
I so related to the main character in Lights Out. When I was in school, I was always being out down or blamed for stuff I didn’t do, so I was like “yeah girl, I know how you feel” 😂
@@LibraryMacabre Yeah, I could definitively empathize and relate with her situation as well. It was just so relentlessly unfair that it made my teeth sore from gritting them in anger so much. Oh well, at least the story drew a strong feeling out of me. Prefer that to a yawner.
I HAVE to get up at 5 and it still destroys me 6 years later. I don't recommend doing it if you don't have to. I get why they split them up (run time) but for me it's one long movie as apposed to a trilogy. Just my take though. Things being changed that don't feel necessary is unfortunately something that you run the risk of encountering with adaptations. So someone like me who has never read the books most likely has much less of a problem of it than a fan. For this reason I'll be dubious about ever watching another Discworld adaptation.
I have to agree with you with the Trilogy. I think the excessive swearing and nudity/sex didn’t need to be there. I will say they were “Fear Street inspired” movies. Overall I really did enjoy them. I would like to see more. It would be awesome to see a Fear Street tv series.
I kind of enjoyed the movies; part 1 and part 3 were okay but I LOVED part 2, I mean the suspense, the gore!! Overall, I think the acting was pretty good (I agree when it comes to Sadie Sink) but I don't feel like the movies had that much (or anything at all) to do with Stine's series.
I don't get any books "Are you Afraid of Dark?", "Graveyard School". I love "Are You Afraid of Dark?" show TV! It don't come DVD/Blue ray "Bone Chillers". I never see again. I was kid saw VSH.
Do you think that they purposefully included more gore and sexual content because the target audience that grew up reading the books are now adults? It was also odd to me that they never mentioned Fear Street in the movies. 1978 gave me such Friday the 13th vibes, love a camp slasher. I would also be interested in more movies going into the backstory of the other killers.
I agree with you about the fear street movies. It was disappointing that they added sex and drugs because a lot that wasn’t in the books. Not sure why they felt they had to add all that…. Have you ever read John Saul?
I have a feeling I liked two and a half of the movies better than you did ... I bet that's because I have no relationship with the books. I could watch them just as movies. I sort of actively hated one-half of one of them, but loved the rest way more than I had been anticipating.
Anyone have any idea how these Etsy and Ebay sellers have multiple copies of titles from Fear Street, and I can’t find ONE copy in any used book store? It’s madness! Sorry, feeling sorry for myself lol
I thought film one and three were good. I did not like number two at all. We read lots of Goosebumps as children I can’t remember the Fear Street so thank you for these vlogs and reviews.
I haven’t watched 1666 yet, but I can’t imagine it being better than 1978. The movies are cool but they’re not Fear Street. I also would love a series actually based on the books.

Next to books, Dunkin is my weakness in life 😂
I hope this Fear Street trilogy will be successful enough to spawn more movies and even a TV show, and maybe then they will choose specific books to base it on, and focus more on the actual street.

Can't wait to see what other books you talk about!
Ohhhhh an Autumncrow High sneak peak! 😍
Sorry about the huge text talking about (I’m sure) my silly things hahaha
Thank you and greetings from Spain!!
Dude! I love a spreadsheet!
I know I've said it before, but I love these vlog style videos. Keep 'em coming!
Agree with your review. Especially since you’ve read tons of Fear street. I felt the same but I was hoping no wasn’t missing something from the books. Good stuff man
DECEMBER? I mean ok just looking forward to the next binging vlog😅
I’m filming another binge now about summer horror books, so expect that soon! I may do another FS vlog sooner as there seems to be a demand 😂
You are really fun to watch. Great video!
You’re videos are just such a highlight of my week!
Honesty loved prt 3 the most, but prt 2 was just so good!
Tbh, I wish we were getting a tv series...
Aw thanks!! I think we’ll get a show eventually. I can just feel it in my bones! Haha
great vlog i love the fear street books!
Great vlog😱🕷️🧟♀️👍
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that opening clip was epic!!! I need to finally read these! I’ve only read the Halloween Night one and I was obsessed with it, which truly surprised me cause I thought it was going to be cheesy in a bad way.
I see you just teased your book cover for the new book Cameron sneaky sneaky can’t wait for the release
Yes! An anthology tv series would be perfect. Kind of like what they did with the goosebumps series.
Love the finds, especially Spooksville of course lol
Sagas: Again, haven't read them in a while, I'll be reviewing them next month though.
Loving these vlogs! I'm happy about your job. It would be ideal for me to work with books.
I’m super late for this but I’m watching it anyway!! I’ve found a lot of my fear street books lately!
fear street definitely deserves a series. they couldn't have left the ending open if they didn't have intentions of more content. this is what i tell myself anyway LOL. thoroughly enjoyed all three parts; they all had their unique charm. but 1994 holds a special place in my heart. everything about it from the opening sequence to the music scores was just so cozy.
That Devil's Race book❣️ Never seen it before. It has such a beautiful cover 😍
I loved your intro! I’m super tired and trying to finish stuff and get to bed so it caught me off guard and spooked me for a minute! 😆
And I love that picture of the spooky home to the right of you in the ending part of the video.
I just discovered your channel and im really enjoying your videos!
Hey creep! I agree with you starting at 33:34. They don’t have the same feel as the books, but still enjoyed them.
Wow good deal!!! I wish we have those bookstores here too😊
I binged all three of the movies in September and really enjoyed them.
Thanks, Dave! I suggest starting with Silent Night. :)
Huge fan of the channel. I read a lot of horror. I want to get started reading some of the old classic paper bags from hell books. I just don’t know where to begin. Any good recommendations?
Love your channel, Cameron! 😉
Fingers crossed for more Fear Street media projects! Quick question, if you don't mind what editing software do you use?
Have you seen the vinyl records coming out from Waxwork Records?! Idk if you have a record player but I'm sure you would love their Fear Street Trilogy records AND they're repressing their Goosebumps records! I'm so excited for them to come out! 👀
I enjoyed all three movies but I agree part 2 was my favorite.
OMG did you say your next book will be out in September? I'm excited.
That’s right! Late September is what I’m shooting for, possibly early October.
@@LibraryMacabre looking forward to it.
I love love loved fear Street and still do as an adult the babysitter was one of my favorites I used to have all of these but I Don't anymore which sucks love seeing other people enjoy these!
Just wanted to say that the babysitter was not part of the fear Street books my bad!
I still need to read your book! I'm suck a slacker. I know if I just buy it already I'll read it! 📚
Great video man!
Where were you able to get the book, “Dew Claws”? I saw it in one of your videos and it looks interesting.
Good question! 1994 took quite some inspiration from Cheerleaders, but overall there isn’t a particular book it’s based off of.
Party Summer is one of my favorite Fear Street.
It’s so good!
Please tell me where you get your fear street books! I’ve been looking everywhere and I can’t find any of them and I’m trying to start a collection
Great thumb nail. Another great video.
Thanks! I’m really proud of that thumbnail 😂
I really enjoyed the movies and was to get into the books is there a best one to start with or just go in publish order?
I agree that the sex, nudity and language really doesn't go with the Fear Street vibe. They're good movies, but I feel a bit much for being based on kids books. It just seems weird to me. Great vlog! I always love these videos.
You should make a StoryGraph! I would love to see your stats on there.
(Exception of the 2nd and just skip over the 90s part)
I also hope this series picks up as a tv series.
💜🎵💜You are GREAT!
Samurai fact in two different comic book companies Uncle Sam has bin a super hero and has lead his own superhero team . The freedom fighters .
Today is July 19... Is that kinda an Easter egg of sorts? That seems to be a reoccurring date in the Fear Street Netflix trilogy
Opening kind of Nosferatu-like, Cameron :)
Hi Cameron, when is the next Q & A video will be up?
I fully recommend 99 fear street the first evil. It's a good one i think it's a trilogy.
I thought film one and three were good. I did not like number two at all. We read lots of Goosebumps as children I can’t remember the Fear Street so thank you for these vlogs and reviews.
I've been biting my thong for long enough: I LOVE YOUR ARGENTO POSTERS!!! 😍
THANK YOU!! 😆😂 Argento reigns supreme!
Please tell me you're going to do a "Top 10 Best Fear Street Books" Post/Episode" !!
Definitely! I’d like to make sure I’ve read them all first. :)
I haven’t watched 1666 yet, but I can’t imagine it being better than 1978. The movies are cool but they’re not Fear Street. I also would love a series actually based on the books.
I forget!
I have books "Deadtime"
Have this books
love them
100% agree with your take on the movie trilogy as a whole - these weren’t Fear Street movies, these were The Shadyside Chronicles slasher flicks.
🙌🙌🙌
They may very well have another Fear Street series
I think Lights Out is a prequel to 1978
I wanted to see the actual Fear Street so bad, but sadly they just didn't show it.
