    unbelievable why VW does not have the "One Pedal Drive". Its a standard feature for E-Cars. I hope they will change ist in the next updates.

    I drive my ID with one pedal no problem. Keep appropriate distance and it work in 99% cases. Good luck!

    I've driven the ID.3 Plus quite a bit, and while in traffic you need to rely on front assist and travel assist. It's really nice when approaching a roundabout or sharp turn, the car will automatically decelerate if you let go of the accelerator pedal. Usually drive in Comfort D setting. It also seems to be learning. My first trips it did decelerate to around 30 in a certain junction. After having driven it a few times, it never decelerates below 50 unless I brake.

      It is true what you are saying that the car is learning on the go and can brake for roundabouts/junctions/sharp corners [depending on navi info]. It's also true that you cant come to standstill, which is actually reason nr1 to be able to one-pedal drive.

      @@EV.Furkan From what I was told by a software developer, the ID4 software is designed like this, because every time you lift off the accelerator you do not actually intend to stop, such as coasting down a slight incline or lift off to cruise through a corner, among other situations. In the event that you lift off the accelerator and you do need to slow down faster, you just need to "tap" the brake pedal, not "press" and the software will recognize that you want more braking and will increase the retardation automatically. Could you do another video to test this claim out if you don't mind?

    I did notice in a test drive, that when using the ACC it did come to a complete stop as long as there was a car in front of me (eg with a traffic light coming up). So in heavy traffic and on ACC it will actually come to a complete stop without touching the break.

      Yes, but that is not 1 pedal driving. For example you can come to a standstill with a kona. But the ID will let you drive 5kmh forever if you don't touch the brskes

    Hi, are there any regen options in the "individual" setting?

    Hopefully they will update this summer to enable 1 pedal mode. Can't way for a video. Thanks

    Hi Furkan, Thx for sharing your experience with the ID4! I have a question. Using the Travel Assist, don't you have a 99% "One-Padel Driving" experience in D mode?

    • @EV.Furkan
      @EV.Furkan  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, you do. Doesnt really matter if its in D or B. TA will just brake for you to standstill and accelerate back to the set speed if the ACC/FA allows it. It's called the Traffic Jam Assist [TJA]. Handy at highways, but not yet in the cities IF you are the first in line at a stop. In the future with Car2X and with the Car2X enabled traffic lights/speedlimits you dont need to touch a thing anymore. it will brake and ride the green wave/speedlimit [even will set the speed slower if you want to catch a green wave]. But thats the magic of Car2X. will take some time, but the ID3/4 has it with the software version 0783.

      @@EV.Furkan Oh, yes, being the first at the traffic light I did not consider. I still have an "old" Octavia 2014 and use the ACC a lot in town. As it has no parking brake I have to push the brake pedal within 2 seconds after standing still, but in most other situations I hardly need to brake.I hope my new ID4 will be even more comfortable, especially also before curves.

    So strange, the demo I drove had regen in D Sport mode, but not in the ID.4 that I own.

    • @EV.Furkan

      Regen on D sport is the normal setting. Was your charge at 100%?

      @@EV.Furkan I never charge above 80%. I have an appointment w/ VW next week.

      They do, on vwid forums (id4 section) there is someone who did the test. It's a sticky thread you will find it easily

    do you use D mode or B mode more when driving?

    • @EV.Furkan
      @EV.Furkan  3 года назад

      D mode with Eco assistance On = intelligent regeneration, coasting when empty, regenerating with vehicles front of you (semi acc)

    I don't understand what these stupid auto manufacturers are doing! No pedal drive on iD3! No pedal driving on Ioniq! Yes, the Ioniq has the "i-pedal" but it constantly disengages!
