Jimin is simply a genius.
When he says "I won't stop even if they mock me", you can see the dancers pointing at him, judging him, referring to how people perceive him and the narratives they constantly impose or project on him and him basically saying no matter what you say, I'll keep shining.

He is ready to fly. The butterfly lyric mirrored in this effortlessly smooth and sexy move and the fact that he is flanked by two female dancers here just accentuates his appeal.
He is lifted up by the throng and here people have noted the parallels to Lie and it is calming to think that Set Me Free Pt 2 resolves and brings closure to the emotions that inspired that song.
In an interview Jimin explained: "I tried to express the grand scale of the song and [the ideas of] determination, passion, and overcoming. “Set me free” means setting myself free, so I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free - not someone else. In the end, I’m the one who has to set myself free.
I would say the song has the energy of a light in the darkness. I wanted to express that kind of picture everyone has in their head - a ray of light coming into the darkness is the only thing you can see. If I had to say specific colors, I’d say black and white."

By reading the lyrics to Jimin's and also Hobi's solos it makes me wonder how long they must have waited to finally reveal their true feelings. I love BTS but I've always felt like the boys are much different in real life than what we see on tv. Stream that masterpiece 💜💜💜

It seems to intentionally show scenes related to me in the past. Because this MV is a work of art, it has meaningful storytelling. I almost get buried in the darkness because of the demons, but it seems to mean finding the light on my own in the end.
Jimin is King. His aesthetics, his dancing, his vocals (the ad-libs too!), the sound, the lyrics, the backup dancers, this MV, the song, exquisite. Love your reactions, especially to our baby Mochi. 💜

@@sgh-rayuga5240He didn't use autotune cuz he can't sing, he used it to show a different personality. The autotune was perfect for the direction they're going for the song. And what's the problem in trying something new, they are artists and it's their work to make new and know new things and experiment. The song for me is definitely fire, ofcourse every one has different taste but it doesn't mean that the song isn't good so many people liked it for nothing.
Also the autotune was tastefully done and added textures.
