@@Kona_999 they literally used the autotune for 10-15 seconds for the rap parts. The rest was all him singing and even then it's used as an instrument to experiment and to add textures to the song. Check out artists like Kanye, Travis, Frank Ocean.

The way he was looking at the camera with those siren eyes, the way he walk away, the way he said "yeah" and "set me freeeeee" felt like heaven, the concept, the color, the sound, the beat, everything in this teaser smell BOP 🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜 I love him so much. I still have goosebumps from watching the MV. Park Jimin is a force to be reckoned with for sure! I think, the dancers around him don’t only represent the world around him, the critics but also himself, his own thoughts creating chaos. So through this song, he is showing us that he is setting himself free from the judgment of people and himself as well. We have heard from him and other BTS members that Jimin is always hard on himself. Now it feels like he’s come a full circle, healed himself. I’m sure a lot of people going through inner conflicts will be able to find peace through this song. ❤️ on a side note, I love your reactions!! This song premiered at 4am in my country. The first thought that comes to my mind after seeing this mv is SPEECHLESS!!!!!!!
I absolutely love this reaction and I just wanted to say, this song is so epic on SO many levels because Jimin has talked about feeling trapped before, especially in his younger years, and now this whole song is like a rendition of him fighting and warring to set himself free. He's like a warrior, and the song has this undercurrent of anger and pain mixed into it which resonates with my heart when I hear him. But also, at 3:06 of the song, a lot of people don't notice this but he says in this softer voice "just set me free", and its in this voice like...like he's tired of fighting. I don't know how to describe it but the whole theme of this song is so beautiful and I am SO glad we got to witness it.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL! I am not a K-pop fan, and I beyond loved this! I don't even consider this K-pop, it's in a class all by itself.
For those unfamiliar with Jimin's vocal talent, it's evident in plenty of places throughout the video. So the use of auto tuning is obviously for artistic purposes, loved it!
This is performance art at its best. And it stands out in particular because of all the junk pop/hip-hop music that has dominated the music scene over the past decade. I mean, how many times and ways do we need to see women shake their tatas and booties? Mix it up a little, please!
I can see this being Jimin's Billie Jean album. And this video specifically will be his crossover moment. Looking forward to following his solo career.
