Some people were calling this song messy and horrible just because he used auto-tune in the middle of the song. The auto-tune was used in such a artistic way and absolutely love it! I’m not someone who’s against or loves auto-tune but it made the song so powerful and intense. It’s like there are two people singing in the song, but it’s just Jimin.
Yeah. They’re the ones who expected the music like he did in the past like Lie, Serendipity, and Promise.

Don't forget that Jimin is a bona fide genius. He used to fill in for his math teacher in high school and was first in every class he took. The following things are in this video, and they're all significant.
1) The spiral made by the dancers: the golden spiral (Fibonacci's sequence):Put simply, a golden spiral gets wider (or further from its origin) with every quarter turn it makes. He's all about circles, as shown in the cover art for Face and the words of the poem on his torso (more on that later).
2) "You have to go insane to stay sane": one of Jimin's lines from "On". This video was also choreographed by Sienna Pulau, who choreographed "On" and the 31 dancers are from the Lab.
3) There are 31 dancers. If you flip that number, you get 13 - Jimin's favorite number and his date of birth.
4) The words on his chest are a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke (translation available through the link)
5) The longer the video goes, the fewer pieces of jewelry and clothing he has - the words are revealed when the shirt comes off because these are feelings he's been covering up until now.
6) When the dancers lift him, it's a call back to the choreography for "Lie". He's finally broken free from the lies that were imprisoning him.

Holy Crap, he's a genius if he decided on all these things on purpose because- wow. Also that poem is beautiful, I know german so I saw a couple words and wondered about the context of it cause it seemed random at first glance. Upon seeing all the references to circles in this MV, like his cover art, it gives it a whole new meaning to it. I love that he chose circles as a form of self expression. It's super creative, and clearly significant to him as a person. Makes his music feel more personal and authentic to the audience. Like a personal touch.

The video and choreo itself is deep. The dancers represents all the hate, struggles and all things negative throughout his whole career. You can see him trying to break free everytime but they always come after him, surrounding him everytime. In the end he won, he's finally free. Omg this is a masterpiece! He's a genius!! Jimin said it’s a German poem on his chest. I think we’re hearing a bit of Jimins real voice in this. He’s always had to sing, maybe in falsetto to match up w what BTS needed. I mean he’s a grown ass man and he couldn’t be his real self bc he had to fit into a boy band, be good, no dating, complete control over his whole life. Jimin said what he meant was that he was free of the dark thoughts, etc that he had but it sounds more like “this is the real me”! It’s an amazing video and he hit #1 on one chart (not sure which one). Whe’s told by a fan that it’s #1 he says he’ll work harder. He’s such a perfectionist and he’s so hard on himself. Ya gotta love him breaking out of that emotional prison he was in!! Bravo Jimin.

This is my second favorite song of the solo albums released so far. Indigo is still special to me, Wild Flower was beautiful, but maybe when the full album comes out I'll have a favorite song from the released solo works
