Realistically... You don't need a toilet seat. Not when toilet is seat. No really though, if people sit down and toilet then no seat needed. Unless the toilet bowl is really wide and you might fall in i-... Oh. Apparently seats also help separate your tuchus from the nasties that be. Seems obvious to me now...

Have you considered getting one of those home filament recycling rigs, so you can turn your toilet back into useable filament for future projects? I've heard they are pretty expensive, but it might be worth it for the amount of filament you are using. And it might keep the EPA from nuking you from orbit.

I don't think this technique would work super well for this project where you are gluing separate parts together, but for making waterproof parts I've had excellent luck with vapor polishing ABS parts using acetone. It's normally done to get a smooth outer surface, but since the acetone vapor melts the outer surface into a smooth layer it also helps seal up leaks between the layer lines.

Your Kitty looks almost exactly like my Remi Cat, She's a Grey/White Tuxedo :D My little sweetie kitty. I've also got a miniature Tortie, She's my hyper love cat- looks/acts like a largish kitten and is always sleeping/sitting with me or bouncing off the walls- literally.
More on topic- this is fascinating. Nice work!

Your videos are a pendulum that swings between well engineered ideas and absolutely unhinged chaos.... and I'm here for it.

I'm over here feeling bad because I'm not getting usable parts right off the Hop for parts that take like 20 g of plastic a piece... And here is Emily printing an entire extra large toilet with features. LOL
