these two... pure magic... and of course Suzie Collier..
What a magical experience!!! We need more MARO on this channel! Touring is not enough!
Also, strings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad they feature so much in this song.
@dylan foley But the collabs are epic!
Perfection. Even this genre, that I ordinarily would not listen to, is wonderful when Jacob puts his mark on it.
So beautiful and universal is the music, when a great british musician meets a delicate portuguese singer evoking Jobim and Gilberto in a beautiful song with a wonderful arrangement.
Maro is impressive. Her voice is so memorizing. Smooth song
Such a privilege to be alive to see you and your genius growing and blessing the world- dare I say you are a Mozart for our times?
Can't believe somebody's doing music like this today, and such a young artist! Such quality & artistry are simply unheard of. Absolutely unprecedented!
Maro just melts you with that voice, dayyum.
Vou me embora
Ver a lua
Ver a noite a passar
Ate o sol nascer
Diz me que vens para me ver
Diz me que vens para ficar
Já não sei se espero por ti
Se estou a sonhar.
Vou me embora
Ver se encontro
Uma parte de mim
Que perdi no teu ser
Diz me que vens pra mostrar
O que achei por aí
Diz me que queres e que não
Que não é só o meu
Oh,
If you only could see
What you mean to me
Tomorrow will come
You will wake and you will see
Thats some things cannot be
What we want them to be
See the light, see it all around my head, oh
See the light, see it all the way home
Portuguese part translated :
I'm leaving
To see the moon
To see the night passing by
Until the sunrises
Say that you're coming to see me
Say that you're coming to stay
I'm not shure if I should wait for you
If I'm dreaming
I'm leaving
To see if I can find
A part of me
That I lost on your sky
Say that you're coming to show me
What I left there
Say that you want me
And it is not a dream of mine
thanks
Valeeeeu
Achei que falava "vamo' embora" tipo Let's go
Thank you!!!
This will absolutely be a jazz standard no question.
Brought to tears in a matter of minutes. Maro with Jacob is magic in it's purest form.
MARO AND JACOB ARE PERFECT TOGETHER! SHIP10000
WHAT A GREAT SET OF MUSICIANS
I could listen to her voice till I die and after.
Jacob: “and you will see, that some things cannot be.”
*Also Jacob: *does exactly what I want and proves that everything can be.
Music from Jacob Colliers celestial mind, the stuff of the universe, the immortal song from the heart, music that sounds like nothing more than love and star dust.
A voz de Maro é simplesmente maravilhosa, com um ligeiro embalo de bossa nova e com uma pitada de nostalgia típica do ser português! Amei mesmo 🤍
So good! Maro has a voice of an angle on this one
Acute or obtuse?
@@cbfedge5593 obviously a cute one
@@aerofuzz I like it
@@cbfedge5593 right?
I love how even the spelling mistake prompted wholesome responses. I love the community and people that follow Jacob's music.
congratulations to Maro for getting selected to represent Portugal at this year's Eurovision Song Festival!! Just about makes up for the sad fact that we won't be able to see her touring with Jacob's band this year. Boa sorte!
Anybody else think this is just about the most beautiful thing on You Tube?
Along with Jacob‘s other gems.
Yes
It is a true gem, but "Real early in the morning" works even better for me.
Holy sh...this is mesmerizing, that opening Strings funk-out is sublime and then when the song proper begins....Lord have Mercy.
Omg, is there anything more beautiful than this ?????
This song bring me in another place... A poetic, placid, intimate place.
Stress goes away ad i can stay quite for 9:23 minutes.
I listen to it often rececently...
I really appreciate your ability to create such enjoyable atmospheres with so much musical complexity.
This made me want to hibernate with a pile of books and chocolates never to be seen again.
😂
olive4naito Introverts ftw
Great description! :-)
Phat mood
Perfect antidote to life! Just dreamy.Purrrrrr purrrrr purrrrrrrrr
This is like the most beautiful thing I've heard in years.
their music is played by the soul and the wave will refract for a long time on our listening hearts
Damn, this is so beautiful and soothing! So reshreshingly silent and quiet in this day and age. Silence is the most underestimated musical tool in my opinion. Let the music breath!
I´m so blown away, again! So glad there is Jacob in the world! Loving where this is going! Maro is fantastic, she shines like crazy!!!
Wow I think that was one of his best solos ever. Such a storyteller 😭✊
Yes so delicate
Every note felt, like it would make sense, like it had some meaning.
There is only one word to describe this music, and it’s ✨ *heavenly* ✨
Sheer joy to listen to … up to the tiniest of details. Piano, vocals, lyrics, orchestra, sound engineering . Give us more !!
Oh my God!... 5 star performers!! Excellence at all levels... As for Maro, I think she might become a new Diana Krall, which I just adore. I'm Portuguese and the sound of our language is really wonderful, smooth, warm...
Congratulations to all of you, who make us feel in Paradise. Thank you so much for these special moments!
Portuguese is my favourite language i am yet to learn, from England
I love seeing his mom performing Jacob’s pieces, such a loving family.
You've done it again Jacob. Everything about this video and song is so elegant, classy personal and out of this world at the same time. Thank you for your art!
Μaro's voice is a breath of fresh air
Spending a little extra on headphones was hands down one of the best choices of my life
It should be forbidden for RUclips to interrupt videos like this to play commercials. Happened here after 2 minutes, still in the intro
Challenging listen. I love it. His music forces me to feel things (I'm guarded and untrusting, cold exterior). That's powerful.
what a beautiful room, piano, microphone, song, and set of people
I am by no means a specialist, but his touch on the piano seems so delicate and light and easy. Amazing. That he also can sing so well is - well an injustice to those who have to try hard.
The lad has practiced both a lot though. He wasn't born a great singer or pianist, it's a product of hard work
This is the shortest 9 Minutes piece of Music I know. It is every second just a pleasure to listen to.
If their voices had a texture it would be velvet. So so so beautiful, I'm in love with both Maro and Jacob!! ❤️
