In every sea there's a mouth of a river
Where waterfall riches flow down
Why do they cry?
No one knows why
In every mouth there's a word of forgiveness
That melts all the ice to the ground
Why do you sigh?
I don't know why
Why does the sky fall down
Like pouring rain?
To let it flow again
Gonna make you feel alright
Take your dreams, keep them out of sight
Wanna make you come alive
Close your eyes, keep you warm at night
So come a little closer to me
So many things I want you to see
My darling
In every laugh is the sorrow
Of all of the tears that you've held for so long
Would you make me cry?
Oh, let me run dry
In every tear are the eyes of a father
And mother that brought you to see
Sing lullaby
As you say goodnight, night, night (Goodnight)
Why do the stars look down (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10)
And feel no shame (Counting up the droplets of the tears falling from the sky)
When they are all the same?
Gonna set your mind alight
Keep you close to me and hold you tight
Wanna keep you burning bright
Take your words, shine them like a light
So come a little closer to me (Come a little closer)
So many things I want you to see (Many think I want you to see)

Jacob, you know what, you are the most impossible human on earth. You have a perfect pitch, you play most of the instruments (the hardest once to learn), you compose your own songs, you edit your music videos, like man, WHO ARE YOU???
I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK. 🥰❤
This song literally brings tears to my eyes. I don’t know why, but on my worst days I listen to this and it makes me cry but it makes the day a little better.
Jacob, you're a magical, beautiful alien.
This is the second track I have heard from this guy and I am blown away. Stunning. Pure love.
I don't know why, but Jacob Collier make me cry with joy
He is brave and has a very big heart. I am so glad we are contemporaries.
This song it’s the only reason to have RUclips music, this and the latest Jacobs Tiny Desk.
Jacob, I reckon you spend a majority of the hours every day creating. How do you make time for relationships with other people and not lose focus on your work?
Easy- create music with people.
@@ajesco Oh! Genius! :)
Every genius who ever walked the Earth had to face the same dilemma, so I doubt even Jacob would have the perfect answer, but A J is probably right :)
It makes me cry..i hardly do that so thank you jacob collier. Need more of this style please. Its so therapeutic.
This is the most unique thing I have heard in a long time.
Jesus Christ, our Lord, thank You for Jacob Collier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is the most amazing artist of present time. I wonder what he is gonna do in future, that would be mind blowing.
Why can’t this be a subgenre of pop seriously I want to hear this on the radio like it’s nothing lol
Hey Jacob,
My deepest gratitude for your music. I'm continuously spreading the word among my friends after having seen you live twice already. ;)
I want to ask you - are you genuinely happy in life? What's the most important thing that gives you strength and confidence?
Cheers and hopefully see you on stage soon,
Niklas
One of the best musicians on the face of this planet
This is so beautiful it hurts me.
I am so glad I found Jacob on Tiny Desk - I fell in love with his music and sheer brilliance. I’m completely stoked to be able to see him at the Hollywood Bowl in September. Counting down the weeks ❤
Et voilà que un ange est descendu parmi nous et on ne le savait pas.....magnifique
Greatest thing I've ever done is discover Jacob's music I can't believe I've went as long as I did without hearing this master musician!
